He had sex with Naomi Campbell in the bathroom of a club and no one had the courage to go and interfere him. Back in the late 80s, Tyson had a relationship with British supermodel Naomi Campbell. They had a volatile but ‘passionate’ relationship, the true details of which were once revealed by Tyson’s former manager Rory Holloway. In fact, Holloway published a book entitled Taming the Beast: The Untold Story of Mike Tyson which claimed that Tyson and Campbell once had a tryst inside a bathroom and Holloway was forced to guard the door. Holloway wrote: “I was there to keep Mike out of trouble, doing my usual babysitting job, and when I looked over, he was talking to this girl. I had to rub my eyes. It was Naomi Campbell. Mike said he had to use the restroom and Naomi followed him and I was outside holding their drinks. Guests were walking up and had to tell the bathroom was occupied. Former Chelsea forward Salomon Kalou has been suspended ‘with immediate effect’ by Hertha Berlin after filming himself singing a ‘corona song’ and breaking social distancing rules amid the coronavirus pandemic. Kalou was also captured on video interrupting teammate Jordan Torunarigha’s test and shaking hands with other squad members on Monday. Kalou appeared to make light of the global health crisis – which has already claimed over 250,000 lives – during the live video on Facebook. The Ivory Coast international, who also complained about pay cuts during the shameful episode, has outraged his employers who have issued him with an immediate suspension from club duties. A Hertha statement read: “Salomon Kalou was tempted by his negative test results to greet the other players in the dressing room, sometimes with a handshake, contrary to the clear announcements made by health authorities. “With his ‘Corona Song’, Kalou gave the impression that he is not aware of the extent of the ongoing pandemic. “With this video taken inside the team’s dressing room, Kalou broke clear internal rules and displayed a behaviour, which is neither appropriate for this current situation, nor reflective of the code of conduct of Hertha BSC. “The club has therefore made the decision to suspend the player in question from training and matches with immediate effect.” General manager Michael Preetz added: “With his video, Salomon Kalou has not only done a great deal of damage to Hertha BSC, but also created the impression that individual players are not taking the issue of coronavirus seriously, in a time of great discussion on the resumption of football and the role of the professional game.” In a statement on the club’s official website, Kalou apologised for his ill-judged actions. The 34-year-old, who spent six seasons at Stamford Bridge, said: “I’m sorry if I gave the impression that I’m not taking coronavirus seriously. I want to apologise for this. “The reality is the exact opposite, because I’m really worried about the people of Africa, because health systems aren’t as good there as they are in Germany. “I didn’t really think it through, and was excited that my tests came back negative. “I would also like to apologise to all those who appeared in the video who didn’t know that I was broadcasting live and whom I didn’t want to bring into this situation.” Watch the Video: https://woza.co/watch-salomon-kalou-ignore-corona-social-guidelines-moan-about-pay-cut-then-gets-suspended/

Born 3 January 1969, Michael Schumacher is a retired German racing driver who raced in Formula One for Jordan Grand Prix, Benetton and Ferrari, where he spent most of his career, as well as for Mercedes upon his return to the sport, even those who are not avid racing fans will recognize his name. Schumacher’s entire life was dedicated to his love for cars, racing, and the thrill that came from owning the track and winning race after race. Sadly, he suffered a severe brain injury after a skiing incident and has since disappeared from the public eye. His life is forever changed but his legacy lives on through his immense contribution to racing. Here are 11 things you did not know about Him. How his career began. Michael Schumacher’s love of racing began from being as young as four-years-old when his own father attached a motorcycle engine to his pedal kart which allowed him to experience racing for the first time. His experience driving it didn’t go perfectly though as he actually crashed it into a lamppost, which could have brought an end to a legendary career before it had even begun, but thankfully he rose up and continued driving. That same year, his parents who had noticed his love of racing took Michael to a local racing academy where he became the club’s youngest member, and the rest is history. 2. The greatest Formula 1 driver. Schumacher is the only driver in history to win seven Formula One World Championships, five of which he won consecutively. The most successful driver in the history of the sport. 3. He isn’t into luxury cars. You might think that a man with the driving skills of Michael Schumacher, who is used to driving some of the fastest vehicles on earth might want to drive around in a similar sort of car in real life. However, the reality is that Schumacher was never really into luxury or supercars and actually used a Fiat 500 Abarth as his personal car, with the Fiat Croma being his family car. While Schumacher did own a Ferrari FXX, it was given to him as a gift from the car manufacturer after he announced his retirement from Formula One and wasn’t something he chose to purchase. 4. He played a role in the movie cars. Michael Schumacher was also part of Pixar’s popular, Cars franchise, the animated movies that are based all around different cars, and of course, Schumacher had to be involved. It was the Director that wanted to have professional, real-life drivers make guest appearances in the movie and he had Ferrari connect him to the legendary driver in order to make it happen. Schumacher unsurprisingly voiced a Ferrari F430, with his work being recorded at 2005’s Canadian Grand Prix event in Montreal, with his voice being found in the first of the trilogy. 5. Not wanting his son to race. Many fathers would love nothing more than for their sons to follow in their footsteps of whatever chosen career path they have, but that wasn’t the case for Michael Schumacher, who made it clear he didn’t want his son to drive. Knowing all too well how dangerous racing can be, Schumacher did not want his son Mick to become one, with the legendary driver pushing for him to chase a career within a different sport. However, as we all now know, Mick has gone on to become a driver and is attempting to keep his father’s legacy very much alive in his name moving forward. 6. His love of a different type of racing. It wasn’t just car racing that Michael Schumacher was a big fan of, as he actually loves horse-riding as well, owning his own horse ranch in Switzerland, as well as another one in Texas. While he enjoyed riding horses for fun, his daughter, Gina-Maria, takes things a little more seriously and is an equestrian European master, competing in shows all around Europe and the U.S. Taking after her father, she has had a successful career in the sport, and this is likely the main reason that Schumacher created the ranch’s, helping to develop her passion and skill. 7. His charitable donation. One of the reasons that Michael Schumacher became so popular amongst fans of the sport was because he always came across as a very genuine, nice person that wasn’t interested in being a celebrity at all. A great show of his character came after the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake, which sadly claimed the life of his bodyguard, Cramer and Cramer’s two sons through the tsunami. Schumacher donated an incredible $10 million in aid which was far more than any other athlete, celebrity, corporation, and even some countries managed to provide. 8. His championship tower. Dubai is known as the home of some of the world’s biggest skyscrapers as the city becomes one of the fastest-growing cities in the world and there is a building named after Michael Schumacher rising. The Michael Schumacher World Champion Tower has been constructed in Dubai, .. Read More: https://woza.co/11-things-you-didnt-know-about-michael-schumacher/

In February, City were found to have committed "serious breaches" of Uefa's club licensing and financial fair play regulations. City have taken their appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport. "Once the decision is made, I will review everything," De Bruyne, 28, told Belgian newspaper Het Laatste Nieuws. “Two years would be long - but in the case of one year I might see. I'm just waiting. The club told us they're going to appeal and they're almost 100% sure they're right. “That's why I'm waiting to see what will happen. I trust my team." Many footballers are ‘scared’ by the prospect of returning to action during the coronavirus pandemic, according to Manchester City ace Sergio Aguero. The latest Premier League shareholders meeting will be held on Friday, with further talks on how the season could resume next month with ‘Project Restart’. The campaign has been suspended since March 13 and while clubs wants to finish the season, Aguero believes players are reluctant to do so. “The majority of players are scared because they have children and families,” Aguero told Argentinian TV station El Chiringuito. “I’m scared but I’m with my girlfriend here and I’m not going to be in contact with other people. I’m locked in my house and the only person I could infect is my girlfriend. “They’re saying that there are people that have it and don’t have any symptoms but still infect you. “That’s why I am here at home. Maybe I have the illness and I don’t even know.” “When one person is ill we will think ‘oh what’s happening here?’ I hope a vaccine will be found soon so that this all ends.” All games are expected to be held behind closed doors with the possibility some matches will be available on free-to-air TV. Manchester City are second in the table 25 points behind runaway leaders Liverpool, who needed just two wins to clinch the title before the season was halted. Born December 30, 1984 in Akron, Ohio, US, LeBron James is an American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He is widely considered to be one of the greatest basketball players in NBA history, and discussions ranking him as the greatest basketball player of all time have often been subject to significant debate, with frequent comparisons to Michael Jordan. Here are 11 things you didn’t know about LeBron James. 1. LeBron was raised in poverty by a single mother. Many NBA players came up in challenging circumstances and had tough childhoods. LeBron James is no exception, LeBron would be raised by a devoted single mother, Gloria James was just 16 years old, when she had her only child, and the young mother was living with LeBron’s grandmother. And when she died just a couple of years later, Gloria and baby LeBron lost their support system. As a result, the city of Akron would condemn their house. And the two spent the next six years bouncing around between couches and apartments, while Gloria looked for menial jobs just to pay the bills, from ages five through eight, the future of King James would have him moving 12 times reflecting on his journey from poverty to success. In his 2013 Finals MVP speech, LeBron would say. 2. LeBron lived with two youth football coaches as a child. When LeBron was only nine years old, he would meet Bruce, who was putting together a youth football team. The coach took LeBron under his wing and had him moved in with him so that young LeBron could start to have some stability. By the end of that year, another youth football coach Frank would offer to let LeBron move in with this family after missing over 80 days of the fourth grade because of their chaotic living arrangements. LeBron then didn’t miss a single day of fifth grade, Walker introduced his young player to the game of basketball. 3. LeBron was equally talented at both football and basketball. King James played both football and basketball through middle and high school, and some have speculated that the Akron hammer could have gone pro with football. But in June of 2002, just before his senior year, he broke his wrist during an AAU game. Because of the two month recovery time James would decide he needed to skip the football season in order to fully heal for a senior basketball. Season, and he knew just exactly how important that season would be. He had asked the NBA to allow him to be drafted before he completed high school, but they insisted that he finish. Upon graduation. He was one of the top three players in NBA history to be the first draft pick straight out of high school. 4. LeBron is ambidextrous. Although generally a right handed shooter LeBron’s dominant hand is actually his left, meaning that he eats, writes, signs autographs and does practically every other daily task off the court with his left hand. But when it comes to shooting, he favors this right. So why does a lefty player learn to shoot right handed when asked in an interview LeBron responded, “I have no idea how I became a right handed basketball player. I think it was probably Michael Jordan that I looked up to growing up seeing those guys shooting righty, so I was like, I guess I’ll shoot righty.” So we see LeBron’s apprenticeship to MJ was so deep. He even changed his hands to imitate his idol. 5. LeBron is an outspoken social activist. LeBron is an avid supporter of social and political causes. In 2008. He donated $20,000 to a committee to elect Barack Obama for President. Former Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has underlined his desire to manage the Premier League side once more in the future – and win the trophy that eluded him in his first spell in charge. Pochettino, who has been linked with a move to Newcastle in recent days, was sacked by Spurs in November just five months after masterminding their route to the Champions League final. And while the Argentinian is ‘motivated for his next project’, Pochettino is determined to return to the north London side before he dies to finish the job he started. The ex-Southampton boss, who spent more than five years at Spurs, told BT Sport: “It was an amazing journey that finished the way no-one wanted it to finish. “But deep in my heart I am sure our paths will cross again. From the day I left the club, my dream is to be back one day and to try to finish the work we didn’t finish. “We were so closing to winning the Premier League and Champions League. “But of course I am looking forward to moving on and I am so motivated for the next project. “But deep inside I want to go back because the fans are so special. Maybe in five years, maybe in 10 years, but before I die I want to manage Tottenham. “I want to feel what it means to win one title with Tottenham because the fans are amazing, all the love we received was amazing and that is a good opportunity to pay back all the love they showed us from day one.” Read more: https://woza.co/i-want-to-win-a-title-with-tottenham-before-i-die-mauricio-pochettino-admits-hes-dreaming-of-spurs-retur/

Simon Jordan calls for Premier League season to be SCRAPPED as he issues ‘corporate manslaughter’ warning Simon Jordan believes the Premier League season must be voided or football authorities in England run the risk of leaving themselves open to a ‘corporate manslaughter charge’. The former Crystal Palace owner says it’s inconceivable for games to be played behind closed doors in the current climate, with the worldwide death toll from coronavirus currently standing at over 218,000. Plans are in place for the Premier League to resume in June, but Jordan insists it is far too early to be even thinking about bringing football back. “I think we are in a situation where the best case scenario in my view is that we lose the season,” Jordan told talkSPORT. “Liverpool aren’t champions, Leeds aren’t promoted, Aston Villa aren’t relegated, Norwich aren’t relegated. We are really into that territory now. “As much as I don’t want to be a doomsday merchant, we have got a disease we don’t have a vaccine for, while this isn’t a problem in everyone’s workplace, everyone isn’t spitting and kicking each other as footballers do. “You cannot have a situation where a global sport of this magnitude has a player who becomes infected, which is an absolute inevitability because they are going to get infected until we find a vaccine. “And what happens then, corporate manslaughter?”... Muhammad Ali was an American professional boxer, activist, and philanthropist. Nicknamed “The Greatest”, he is widely regarded as one of the most significant and celebrated sports figures of the 20th century and as one of the greatest boxers of all time. 1. A red-and-white Schwinn bicycle launched his boxing career. When the 12-year-old Clay’s beloved bicycle was stolen in October 1954, he reported the theft to Louisville, Kentucky, police officer Joe Martin and vowed to pummel the culprit. Martin, who was also a boxing trainer, suggested that the upset youngster first learn how to fight, and he took Clay under his wing. Six weeks later, Clay won his first bout in a split decision. 2. He was originally named in honor of a white abolitionist. The fighter, like his father, was named after Cassius Marcellus Clay, a 19th-century farmer and anti-slavery crusader who emancipated the 40 slaves he inherited from his father. The abolitionist, a second cousin of Kentucky Senator Henry Clay, edited an anti-slavery newspaper, commanded troops in the Mexican-American War and served as minister to Russia under President Abraham Lincoln. In defying Southern conventions of the time, Clay faced more than death threats. He was beaten, stabbed and shot by political opponents but lived to the age of 92. 3. Before becoming known as Muhammad Ali, he changed his name to Cassius X. The morning after defeating Liston, the new heavyweight champion confirmed reports that he had become a member of the Nation of Islam. With Malcolm X at his side, the champ told reporters that he had renounced his surname, which he called his “slave name,” and would be known as “Cassius X” until Nation of Islam leader Elijah Muhammad gave him a holy name. That name, Muhammad Ali, was bestowed on March 6, 1964. 4. Ali was banned from boxing for three years. As the Vietnam War raged in 1967, Ali refused to serve in the U.S. military for religious reasons. The heavyweight champion was arrested, and the New York State Athletic Commission immediately suspended his boxing license and stripped him of his title. Ali was convicted of draft evasion, sentenced to the maximum of five years in prison and fined $10,000, although he remained free while the conviction was appealed. In 1970 the New York State Supreme Court ordered his boxing license reinstated, and he returned to the ring by knocking out Jerry Quarry in October 1970. The following year, the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Ali’s conviction in a unanimous decision. 5. Ali starred in a Broadway musical. During his 43-month forced exile from the ring, Ali took to the stage in the title role of the musical “Buck White.” The production opened inside New York’s George Abbott Theatre on December 2, 1969, but Ali’s stage career would be a brief one. “Buck White” closed four nights later after just seven performances. In spite of the limited run, Ali, who played a militant black lecturer, received decent reviews. Read More: https://woza.co/11-things-you-didnt-know-about-ali-muhammad/
