A U.S. F-16 fighter has crashed into waters in the Yellow Sea off the coast of South Korea, stoking safety concerns after eight U.S. airmen were killed last month in the crash of an Osprey aircraft near a Japanese island.

The F-16 crashed into the sea Monday after taking off at about 9 a.m. from the city of Gunsan, some 180 kilometers south of Seoul, Yonhap News Agency reported, citing sources it did not identify. The pilot ejected and was conscious after being rescued from the sea, it said.

U.S. Forces Korea did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The crash of the Osprey off the southwestern island of Yakushima last month ultimately prompted the U.S. military to ground its entire fleet of several hundred of the aircraft to check for a possible equipment problem that may have been the cause of the accident, according to military officials.

Before the decision to ground the fleet, the Japanese government had called for U.S. military forces in the country to suspend use of the Osprey, which was made by a unit of Boeing and the Bell Helicopter unit of Textron, so that checks could be conducted.

The crash in Japan returned scrutiny to the Osprey, a tilt-rotor aircraft that can take off and land like a helicopter and fly like an airplane. Early years of setbacks and accidents — especially in 2000, when two crashes killed 23 Marines — triggered a major Pentagon review and subsequent design changes for the aircraft that served in Iraq and Afghanistan.

There's nothing royal here, he received a normal Presidential reception as was given to President Tinubu during his recent visit to UAE. A royal reception would have been a royal robe across the shoulder just as Messi was adorned at Qatar 2022.
Even western media outlets complain that it was too lavish and a royal welcome.

No US or Nigerian President have ever received such welcome. Prove me wrong.

Foreign AffairsRe: Putin Given Royal Welcome As He Arrives UAE & Saudi Arabia In Style (Photos) by WriterNig(op):
Western 🤡 countries were fantasizing about Putin’s so called International isolation. They'll be foaming in the mouth now seeing these photos. They think the whole world revolves around them.

Russia's capital Moscow is bigger than the whole of the Netherlands where the International Criminal Court is located but they think they can arrest Putin. Maybe in their dreams bcuz even the U.S will never dream of it.
😂 🤣

How is USA and NATO related to NAZI?
Explain please.
The U.S/NATO are funding, arming and training Nazis in Ukraine.

A U.S. military Osprey aircraft crashed into the ocean Wednesday near the small southern Japanese island of Yakushima with 8 people on board, killing at least one crew member, a U.S. defense official confirmed to CBS News.

An official with Japan's coast guard told CBS News that one crew member was recovered dead and search operations were continuing into the night for the others from the Osprey.

The official told CBS News that two helicopters and six boats were involved in the search operation. U.S. Air Force Special Operations Command said in a statement the Osprey was performing a routine training mission.

Coast guard spokesperson Kazuo Ogawa was quoted earlier by the Agence France-Presse news agency as saying an emergency call came in from a fishing boat to report the crash. He said there were eight people on the Osprey, a figure that the coast guard later revised to six before the U.S. defense official said that eight airmen were on board.

Japanese national broadcaster NHK aired video from a helicopter showing a coast guard vessel at the site with one bright orange inflatable life raft seen on the water, but nobody in it.

NHK said an eyewitness reported seeing the aircraft's left engine on fire before it went down about 600 miles southwest of Tokyo, off the east coast of Yakushima.

The Kagoshima regional government said later that the Osprey had been flying alongside another aircraft of the same type, which landed safely on Yakushima island.
