⚡China launched the world's first fourth-generation nuclear power plant. This was reported by the State Energy Administration of the People's Republic of China. The Shidaowan facility with a high-temperature gas-cooled reactor is located in the eastern province of Shandong. As much as 93.4 percent of the material used in the plant is domestically sourced, said China Huaneng Group, leading operator of the project. The operation illustrates China's global leadership in the field of high-temperature gas-cooled reactor nuclear power technology, it said.

He gave oil companies operating in the undivided sea three months to complete operations. The President of Venezuela also called Essequibo an “integral defense zone” and invited oil workers to stop offshore operations there within three months. A referendum supporting Venezuelan claims to oil-rich Essequibo passed on Sunday. The majority of citizens voted to annex this territory to Venezuela. The President of Guyana said that the actions of the Venezuelan authorities to create the country's 24th state pose a threat. "Guyana views this as an immediate threat to its territorial integrity and is intensifying precautions to protect the territory."

⚡All eight airmen who were aboard an Osprey military aircraft that crashed off Japan are considered deceased, the US Air Force said Tuesday. The Osprey — which can operate like a helicopter or a fixed-wing turboprop plane — disappeared on November 29 near the island of Yakushima, sparking an intense search for survivors. “The US military transitioned search and rescue operations to search and recovery operations,” meaning survivors are unlikely,” the Air Force Special Operations Command said in a statement. “Of the eight airmen, the remains of three airmen have been recovered, the remains of another three airmen have been located and are in the process of being recovered, and the remains of two airmen are still being located,” it said.
