⚡Construction works on the Kadjaran-Agarak section (32 km) of Tranche-4 of the North-South highway corridor are set to commence at the end of 2023 and is expected to be completed within three years. These works will be carried out by two Iranian contractors, with whom the Armenian side signed contracts today. Upon reconstruction, the specified road segment will meet advanced international standards in terms of road safety, comfort, and reduced travel time. The plan includes building 5 new intersections, 6 overpasses, 2 tunnels, and 17 bridges. The project is financed through a loan from the Eurasian Development Bank and the Armenian state budget.
