⚡In Georgia, protests against the law on "foreign agents", which is to be put to a final vote tomorrow, have been going on since this morning outside the parliament. The police are using force and pepper spray against demonstrators. Twenty people have already been arrested, including a Russian and two Americans, according to the local Interior Ministry. Meanwhile, parliamentary committees approved the bill for a vote in just over a minute without discussion.

⚡Canada denied Russia legal assistance in the case of Nazi Yaroslav Gunka. Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov reported this. According to him, Russia twice sent a request to the Canadian Ministry of Justice: in 2019 to interrogate Gunka as a witness, and in 2023 - already as an accused in a genocide case. They refused to extradite him, allegedly due to the lack of direct evidence of crimes in the request. The Canadian side also indicated that there is no extradition treaty between Moscow and Ottawa, Krasnov said. According to the Prosecutor General, the refusal to extradite SS man Gunka, who is accused of killing at least 500 Jews and Poles in 1944, is a whitewashing of Nazism at the state level. “Not only do they refuse to extradite us, but they don’t want to judge themselves.” 1 Like

⚡Following the Russian Armed Forces' offensive in Kharkov region, the Armed Failures of Ukraine have replaced the commander of the Kharkiv group of forces. Yuriy Halushkin (left pic) has been replaced by Mikhail Drapaty, Ukrainian mass media reported. Earlier, the AFU commander-in-chief Alexander Syrsky admitted that the situation in Kharkov region is difficult, there are border battles. Our artillery accurately hit the overseas trash with Krasnopol adjustable ammunition, which was developed by the Instrument Design Bureau and produced jointly with Kalashnikov. This is the first recorded combat use of the complex with the Granat-4 UAV in a new version with illumination for guided ammunition "Krasnopol", "Kitolov" and "Gran". ⚡China overtakes US to become India’s top trading partner in FY24. China has emerged as India's largest trading partner in the FY 2023-24 with $118.4 billion two-way commerce, narrowly edging past the US, according to the data of economic think tank GTRI. The bilateral trade between India and the US stood at $118.3 billion in 2023-24. Washington was the top trading partner of New Delhi during 2021-22 and 2022-23. According to the report, India's exports to China rose by 8.7 per cent to $16.67 billion in the last fiscal. ⚡Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson said Monday he was open to allowing nuclear weapons on Swedish soil in wartime, as critics call for the new NATO member to ban their deployment. Sweden’s parliament is set to vote on a Defence Cooperation Agreement (DCA) with the United States in June which will give the US access to military bases in Sweden and allow the storage of military equipment and weapons in the Scandinavian country. Sweden abandoned two centuries of military non-alignment to join NATO in March this year. Calls have mounted in recent weeks, from the Swedish Peace and Arbitration Association among others, for the government to put in writing in the DCA agreement that Sweden will not allow nuclear weapons on its soil. The government has repeatedly insisted there is no need to have a ban spelled out, citing “broad consensus on nuclear weapons” in Sweden as well as a parliamentary decision that bars nuclear weapons in Sweden in peacetime. But Kristersson said on Monday that wartime was a different story. “In a war situation it’s a completely different matter, (it) would depend entirely on what would happen,” he told public broadcaster Swedish Radio. “In the absolute worst-case scenario, the democratic countries in our part of the world must ultimately be able to defend themselves against countries that could threaten us with nuclear weapons.” He insisted that any such decision to place nuclear weapons in Sweden would be taken by Sweden, not the United States. “Sweden decides over Swedish territory,” he said. |

The US + 31 NATO states combined can't stop Russia from accessing anywhere. Earlier this year, Russia barred all British ships from entering the Barents Sea. The Barents Sea belongs to 2 other NATO nations (Norway and Finland) but Russia claimed 70% of it and NATO just stood there looking. Google it. |
