⚡3,000 AI drones reportedly sent to Russian army in Ukraine. Russia’s TASS news agency reports that 3,000 AI-driven Mikrob kamikaze drones have been delivered to Russian forces engaged in the ongoing “special military operation” in Ukraine. These drones are equipped with AI that allows them to autonomously track targets after being locked on by an operator. According to Alexander Gryaznov, the Mikrob drone’s developer, the AI is capable of maintaining target tracking even as the target maneuvers. The Mikrob’s high-speed and overload-tolerant design reportedly allows it to operate under intense conditions, with a single team managing up to 40 drones and reportedly achieving significant destruction on the battlefield — far exceeding the value of the 3,000 drones deployed. 3 Likes

⚡Russia is reportedly using kamikaze drones that autonomously select and strike targets. They operate without GPS, using cameras and computer vision. Can hit targets up to 100 km from the front line, don’t distinguish between military and civilian targets. Run on gasoline, increasing range, decide on their own when and where to strike.

⚡Consequences of Russian Geran-2 drone strikes on the "Polisan" factory (LLC "VP "POLISAN"  on the outskirts of Sumy. The "Polisan" plant specialises in the production of paints, varnishes, printing ink and mastics. It is also involved in the construction of residential and non-residential buildings, the installation of various appliances, wholesale of wood and building materials, and more notably road freight transport. The plant is situated next to the "Oldysh" Freight Train Station, which is a stop on Ukraine's main railway line for the frontline areas of Sumy Oblast and runs directly through Sumy City. As a results of the impacts, a large fire broke out, encompassing much of the warehouse and collapsing part of the roof. The fire was visible from satellites and was recorded in NASA FIRMS data.
