Rubio welcomed the agreements on the exchange of prisoners of war and the preparation by the parties of a vision of the conditions necessary for reaching a ceasefire and stressed Washington's readiness to continue to facilitate search for a settlement to the Ukrainian conflict. Lavrov, in turn, confirmed Russia’s readiness to continue working with the United States on the Ukrainian settlement. The interlocutors also exchanged opinions on the continuation of contacts between Russia and the United States, the Russian Foreign Ministry noted. |
