But the Olkaria geothermal power plant supplies only a fraction of the energy needed, and a quarter of the country's population lives without electricity at all. To solve the pressing problem, the Kenyan authorities are planning to build a nuclear power plant on the country's territory with the help of Russia. ⚡Unmanned system for evacuating the wounded was developed in Russia. Engineers from Novosibirsk have named the platform "Venom-Totem". It is capable of lifting and moving up to 300 kg, and is already being successfully used in the SVO zone. "The remotely controlled platform drives up, a person is loaded into it, and the operator takes him to a safe distance," the developers say. "Venom-Totem" has a durable metal body and a stable chassis. The platform quickly moves up to 10 km, providing, in addition to evacuating the wounded, the delivery of ammunition and supplies. "The system has proven itself to be robust, one of the best in Russia, and has passed tests in the harshest conditions," its creators emphasize. Another 50 "Venoms" will be sent to the front lines in the near future. Work is also underway to create a platform that will be able to independently transport the dead. And a mine-laying and mine-clearing system can also be installed on this platform. 4 Likes
