⚡🇷🇺 Putin at the signing ceremony of the agreement with Iran on the creation of the Rasht–Astara railway for the development of transportation along the North-South transport corridor with the 🇮🇷 Iranian President:

We talked a lot about the importance of building this through transport artery, which is designed to connect 🇷🇺 Russian ports in the Baltic and northern seas with Iranian ports on the Persian Gulf and Indian Ocean coasts. The fundamental decision on joint work of Russia and Iran in this direction was made during the high-level talks in Tehran in July 2022. Today we are witnessing that this idea has begun to come to life.

A railway line with a length of 162 kilometers will be laid between the 🇮🇷 Iranian cities of Rashta and Astara. It would seem that this is a small section, but its commissioning will allow to establish a direct and continuous, or, in another way, experts say, seamless railway communication along the entire length of the North-South route.

⚡️🇷🇺 FM Sergey Lavrov: The Minsk agreements were the last attempt at diplomacy

▪️We will no longer rely on the West as a partner that has at least some capacity for an agreement, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in an interview with "Tsargrad" television, saying that Moscow will instead turn its attention to the rest of the world that wants to continue cooperation with her.

▪️According to his words, "there is no real diplomacy anymore" in the West. As he pointed out, it was last "seen" in 2014 and 2015, when the 🇧🇾 Minsk agreements were signed, but even then it was not real diplomacy, but, as he assessed, "diplomacy of lies".

▪️The diplomacy of Western colleagues is reflected in bribing, threatening and forcing other countries to follow their policies, but all this indicates that the 🇺🇸 West is actually "not sure of the correctness" of its agenda, because if they are right, why should they threaten and use with harsh tactics, concluded Lavrov.

⚡️🇺🇸 Lt. Col. Davis concludes with:

"The chances of Zelensky ever accomplishing his objectives of forcing Russia out of Ukraine are highly improbable. The most likely outcome is that the war will continue on regardless of this offensive, but over time the conditions will continue tilting in 🇷🇺 Russia’s direction. Eventually, Kyiv will likely be compelled to seek a negotiated end to the fighting. The West should recognize this probability – now – and begin privately supporting such an outcome with 🇺🇦 Ukrainian officials. Refusing to take such actions in the hope that Ukraine produces a major battlefield victory could condemn Kyiv to a much worse deal later."

⚡️🇺🇸 U.S Lt. Col. Danny Davis on the 🇺🇦 AFU's upcoming offensive:

"The 🇷🇺 Russians have designed and built an impressive series of defensive belts that would be difficult to breach even for fully-trained Western armies.

To succeed, 🇺🇦 Zelensky’s troops will have to attack this elaborate defense with limited offensive air power, limited air defense, insufficient quantities of artillery shells, and a force that is equipped with a hodge-podge of modern and antiquated armor – staffed by a mix of conscripts with no combat experience and some officers and men with basic training by NATO instructors."
