⚡NATO countries continue to develop logistics capabilities on the “eastern flank”. Romania and Bulgaria have submitted an application to the European Commission to finance a project for the reconstruction of the road border bridge between the cities of Giurgiu - Ruse under the military mobility program. The project also involves the reconstruction of the railway section, which is designed to increase capacity in this section. Romania also announced plans to begin modernizing the Bucharest-Giurgiu railway line leading to the bridge, which will require 570 million euros (of which 423.6 million will be provided by the EU). In turn , Bulgaria in December 2023 has already begun construction of a highway to Ruse from Veliko Tarnovo, which will connect to the bridge. The logistics route itself from Bucharest passes through the territory of Bulgaria and further to Greece and Turkey, which will increase the possibilities of transporting NATO goods from the Mediterranean along the Black Sea coast. These plans are related to the project of connecting Romania with European railways to Moldova and Ukraine, which will probably be a continuation of this route and will be used by NATO to deliver military supplies to Ukraine.

⚡Map of all the approximate routes of Russian air attacks on Ukraine from September 6th to November 3rd. Shahed-136 kamikaze UAVs often attack along riverbeds, roads and borders of regions. There is logic in this: over the river you can fly low and invisible to air defense radars; above the road, the noise of the Shaheds merges with the noise of cars. But one thing can be seen on the map of Shahed attacks: many of them fly from Crimea. Looking at the map, one conclusion suggests itself: Ukraine cannot feel safe until it controls Crimea. 1 Like

⚡Turkish Finance Minister Mehmet Simsek: We live now in a world that no longer respects the most basic rules. It reminds me Antonio Gramsci’s very famous quote: He says: “The old world is dying. The new world is struggling to be born. Now, it is the time of monsters.” The old world, the rule-based post WW2 is behind us. There’s no even respect to most basic rules anymore. Look at what’s happening in Gaza. Look at some countries stance. They cannot even call for a ceasefire. They cannot even have the courage to call for a ceasefire. We don’t have a substitute yet. Because a hegemon power and arising superpower and many other players are actually trying to see how this new system is shaped. And that brings about a lot of uncertainty in doing business, but also in general for global economy.
