⚡American Journalist Seymour Hersh claims the Russian Federation and Ukraine are allegedly conducting secret peace negotiations along the Gerasimov-Zaluzhny line, despite the objections of Zelensky and the White House. Hersh claims, with reference to “anonymous” US officials, that the issue of possible fixation of borders along the current front line with the retention of Crimea and the occupied territories of the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions for the Russian Federation is allegedly being discussed, in exchange an option is being considered in which Ukraine can join NATO, but with the obligation that the alliance will not station troops or offensive weapons there. “The American official said that Zelensky was made to understand that it was not him, but “the military that would solve this problem, and negotiations would continue with or without you.” “If necessary, we will pay for your trip to the Caribbean,” the American official told me,” wrote Hersh. 2 Likes 1 Share

⚡Israel has informed several Arab states that it wants to carve out a buffer zone on the Palestinian side of Gaza's border to prevent future attacks as part of proposals for the enclave after war ends, Egyptian and regional sources said to Reuters. According to three regional sources, Israel related its plans to its neighbours Egypt and Jordan, along with the United Arab Emirates, which normalised ties with Israel in 2020. They also said that Saudi Arabia, which does not have ties with Israel and which halted a U.S.-mediated normalisation process after the Gaza war flared on Oct. 7, had been informed. Türkiye was also told, the sources said. "Israel wants this buffer zone between Gaza and Israel from the north to the south to prevent any Hamas or other militants from infiltrating or attacking Israel," said a senior regional security official.
