There were 2 VO's counter 8 and counter 9, the Asian guy and the other white guy i noticed the Asian guy first question was always have you travelled out of Nigeria before, once your answer is No, he asks any random question and rejects. I was praying from the gate till I met with my VO
The Asian guy called next it was supposed to be me but i dragged for like 5 seconds and the other white guy called next then i went to meet him.

TRANSCRIPT.
VO: Good Morning
ME: Good Morning
VO: You are going to study Engineering
ME: NO I'm going to study industrial and human factor Engineering.
VO: Okay
VO: So you are an Engineer
ME: Yes I am
VO: I see you have a scholarship how do you intend to cover the rest
ME: Ooh I have a 70% scholarship on my tuition, my aunt would be covering the rest ( praying in my mind that he doesn't know enough mathematics to calculate by looking)
VO: What does your aunt do
ME: Oooh she is a distributor for dangote cement
ME: I have her bank statement if you would like to view it
VO: That won't be necessary
VO: So what would this degree do for you
ME: Oooh my Company is going through a transition phase where we are moving from a crude oil based approach to a gas and renewable energy approach this transition is opening up positions for mid-level management with my experience and this degree i would be positioned to fill one of these openings.
VO: Okay
VO: Keeps typing picks up the white paper and gives me says this white paper would tell you all you need to know about picking up your passport
ME: Thank you very much.

P.S i noticed that a lot of guys dress poorly, if you are going for academics and you claim to have been working please dress the path dry-clean your clothes and look smart also make your stories as short as possible my interview was about 2minutes /b] [b]and pray non-stop God bless everyone

VO: Why are you going to the US

Me : I'm going to the US to pursue a research based masters degree in Industrial and Human factors Engineering

VO: why did you choose the US

me : i choose the US primarily because of its wealth and pioneering research in the engineering field which is a field where i currently work right now

VO: how did you hear about this school

ME: i found out about this school from a senior colleague of Mine Dr Jude he is an alumni of the school and has been mentoring me since i joined the firm. also it was an easy pick for me seeing that my core research interest which is Advanced combustion system is one which is currently being researched upon at wright state by Dr jamie Ramirez.

VO: Tell me about your course

ME : MSc in IHE is a 30 credit hour program with 22 credit hour dedicated to course work where i would be taking courses like process re engineering, production and service systems, lean sigma et.c and 8 credit hour solely for research where my research work would focus on Advanced combustion system incomplete combustions makes up about 60 % of all combustion process this causes more pollution and increased cost of operations for businesses

VO: what would this degree do for you

ME: this degree combined with my years of experience positions me to become a lead Asset manager in my current place of work. i am currently an assistant team lead a degree from this and the contributions i intend to make on my return as my company is transitioning from a from crude oil to focus more on gas.

VO: Who is paying for your fees.

ME : my step sister would be paying for my education

VO: why would she be doing this.

ME: she has been sponsoring my education since I lost my dad in junior high school she is my mother's daughter

VO: what does she do

ME: She is into Agro business she manages my dad's farm where she grows and process palm oil she is also into real estate

VO: What are your plans after graduation.

ME: After graduation i intend to return back to my company, with the new PIB that has been signed by the president I would be a high flyer bringing be closer to becoming a full Lead Asset manager.
