Lol. My grandmother was from Umuahia. I sympathize with the Igbos. She even said her own brother lost his property somewhere located at Emenike Street. She blamed herself for not being smart enough.
The Ikwerres were also victims of the war.
Although most Igbos that lost their properties didn't have papers to the properties. It was allocated to them by the defunct Eastern Nigeria government.

It is quite embarrassing when educated people talk like they have never been to school before. You people are one of the most traveled in Nigeria yet the issue of coincidence in languages is still strange to you people.
Spain and Portugal have similar vocabularies. This is same with Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway. We have Poland and Ukraine. We have Malaysia and Indonesia. We have itshekiri and Yoruba. And even Isoko and Urhobo. These people don't fight people who speak similar language with them only Igbo does.

even those who left their property in Yoruba land got back all their properties intact, why don't you guys borrow Edo language or yoruba?
I speak yoruba and write in yoruba with my siblings more than some Yorubas but Igbo is my first language and culture ... the same with my children born outside Nigeria

I don’t have time to argue who is igbo or not.
I share fence with a house of rep. Member from rivers state and he have been vocal about not been Igbo in the media.

He have Igbo names and have always started conversations with me in igbo language.

I have made it compulsory not to reply him in igbo language anytime we communicate, I simply pretended surprised that he is speaking my language and reply in english.

Ikwere’s speaks a better igbo than we they bende/ohafia/eda/afikpo igbos.

But they are free to come from any tribe in Congo or else where because they practically don’t add anything to the Igbo nation.

You don't get me, i don't have problem with them using the Igbo language like their life depend on it but why hate the same people who own the language with so much passion,

It is disgusting, what upset me most is that i've met many of them outside Nigeria claiming Igbos because they speak Igbo very well even more than me and i have always treat them as brother with love, why this so much hate online for Igbos? there is one i was about to help but i have ended it already.
