Celebrities / Laide Bakare’s Child Birth Stirs Controversies + Her Jeep Saga by wwwaprokome(f): 5:20pm On Jun 02, 2013
The news of Laide Bakare’s child delivery on Friday caught many by surprise. It was a news many of her fans were not expecting at the time it came. The reason for that was because only few weeks ago, precisely in early May 2013, the actress announced, through her publicist, that her marriage to US-based Olumide Okunfulire was over.

It was then reported that she has travelled to the US with her new husband, Tunde Oriowo, for their honeymoon.
But within the same month of her marriage crash announcement, the news of her child birth came.

Her last marriage produced a child. The question many are asking now is, does it mean that she’s been seeing her new husband for up to a year now?

Exclusive to aproko, Her famous Range Rover SUV was said to have been initially bought for an (also a Yoruba) actress by her lover but things went wrong between them and he started dating Laide. The dude collected the car from his ex-lover when Laide also demanded for a jeep and gave it to her. Laide, being a typical Yoruba girl customized it sharply for fear of being whipped with the same cane that was used to whip the former.

Sports / Sir Alex Ferguson’s Last Chewing Gum Sold For N94 Million by wwwaprokome(f): 3:42pm On May 21, 2013
Imagine a piece of chewing gum purportedly to be the last chewed by Sir Alex Ferguson as Manchester United manager has reportedly sold for over $600,000(N94 Million).

Fergie, who was renowned for his chewing on the sidelines, oversaw the Red Devils’ last EPL game of the season yesterday, after 26 years at the helm of the club. As he was celebrating his side’s dramatic 5-5 draw with West Bromwich Albion, a fan laid claim to the bizarre souvenir and immediately offered it for auction on eBay, in a custom-made case.

British newspaper The Metro has reported that the item sold for $608,000 overnight.

Religion / Church Marketing: Pastor Sign Fireman Gives N5,000 To New Members by wwwaprokome(f): 7:57pm On May 17, 2013
Pastor Sign Fireman will never stop being in the news for awkward reasons. He started getting the media's attention after the controversial poster (picture below) of a programme he organized for single ladies some times back, his recent marriage to a young lady received full media coverage.

The pastor now gives the sum of N5,000 cash to new comers. Some many people who witnessed this claim that it might be a way to win back those that ran away after the episode of the late veteran actor, Enebeli Elebuwa whom he claimed he totally healed, but turned out to be a lie. I hear that the church has increased tremendously ever since he introduced the N5,000 membership driven scheme. Chai! Nigerians like awoof!

Entertainment / Do Men Like You Unclad? Women Speaks Showing Off Their Unclad Photos by wwwaprokome(f): 10:43am On May 17, 2013
SIX out of ten women in the UK are repulsed by the
sight of their own naked bodies – but not THESE six.
They dared to bare – and be judged on their look –
and talked openly about their bodies.
We then got four judges – celebrity doctor Hilary
Jones, of online clinic Health Express; Martin
Daubney, ex-editor of men’s mag Loaded;
psychologist Kate Nightingale; and builder Luke
Midwinter – to cast a critical eye over our brave
lasses. The panel told DIANA APPLEYARD and
CHRISTINA EARLE their verdicts. So for all those
fretting about flabby stomachs – and the four in ten
who feel too embarrassed even for their own partner
to see them in the buff – read on from this link: aproko.me/do-men-like-you-naked-panel/ for an insight into

Politics / Osun: Why Launch ‘opon Imo’ In Lagos? by wwwaprokome(f): 7:16am On May 16, 2013
About two months ago, around March 20, the public was inundated with a news report that the Osun State Government had commenced the distribution of its computer learning tablets tagged “Opon Imo” to secondary school pupils. Photographs of some pupils of Ataoja School of Science, Osogbo were shown and the Deputy Governor who also doubles as Commissioner for Education confirmed that the “Opon Imo” project had taken off.

One was, therefore, surprised to read last week that the same “Opon Imo” computer learning tablet was launched again at a hotel in Lagos. Why another launch? And, why Lagos? As I pondered over these questions, the figure of N8.6bn which the state also said it would be saving kept flashing at me. I then remembered that that figure appears to be growing fatter by the day. Earlier, when it was “launched” in March, the figure bandied around as savings was N8.2bn. I then decided to take more than a passing interest in the matter by examining closely what has been said. My findings were quite revealing and suggested to me that the Osun State Government has been standing truth on its head with the so-called savings from textbooks. The savings could not have added to the tune of N8.6bn as stated.

To arrive at its N8.6bn, the state government said 150,000 pupils would be supplied with the tablets and each tablet is loaded with 63 textbooks and that each textbook costs an average of N1,000.00. By inference, the state government wants us to believe that it spends about N63,000 on the textbooks of each child in the Senior Secondary class. That claim is bogus and cannot be correct. What is correct is that each child sits for an average of eight to nine subjects and may not require more than an average of three books per subject. Therefore, the maximum number (average) of textbooks required by a pupil would be 27 textbooks. Even at the cost of N1,000.00 per textbook, that gives you N27,000.00 and if you multiply this by 150,000 pupils, it gives you about N4bn. So, where did these bogus savings of N8.6bn come from? One hopes this is not a ploy to perpetrate fraud and or a conduit to siphon money out of the state.

There can only be one motive for bloating the figure (so that it sounds big) and for taking the launch to Lagos; propaganda. This is a technique in propaganda aimed at appealing to emotion with the aim of swaying the opinion of an audience. Osun State has been awash with several of such in recent time. Without doubt, the Osun State Governor, Rauf Aregbesola, has a public perception challenge. For most part of his government’s almost three years tenure, the governor has put the state in the news more for the wrong reasons than the right reasons. Indeed, redeeming that image is one of the biggest headaches of the Action Congress of Nigeria in Osun State today and no amount of re-christening by any denomination can wash off that negative toga. Time is also running out to do this.

How do I mean? I was privileged to sit beside a top politician from Lagos State at a function recently. In the first 20 minutes of our interaction, I could not contain the barrage of questions hauled at me about Aregbesola: Is it true that the governor wants to Islamise Osun State? Is it true he has not performed satisfactorily? Is it true workers are on strike and all the tertiary institutions are shut down? Is it true he has mortgaged the future of generations unborn with huge debts? Is it true…? His series of questions suggested to me the deep-seated apprehension in the ACN camp about the governor’s re-election bid.

I tried to answer some of his questions but his quick summary and verdict were: “I think Aregbesola started wrongly and wasted his time trying to probe the previous government”. I could not disagree with him. Indeed, Aregbesola started driving the vehicle of the state using his inner mirror that only sees the back and not the front. He got carried away by the applause that greeted his victory at the Court of Appeal and started nailing the “coffin” with which he thought he had buried the Peoples Democratic Party. He forgot that he would not be assessed by the outcome of his probes. He wasted so much time stereotyping every PDP member as a non-performer. He was busy destroying the characters of others using different models of propaganda. He never knew his antics would soon become cliché but now he is paying the price. He is facing the revolt of the people with strikes and demonstrations everywhere.

It was then it occurred to me that his government coming to Lagos to launch the “Opon Imo” tablet was to extend his propaganda machinery to a Lagos audience that appears to have written him off. But there is a limit to propaganda. Very soon all his card-stacking will be exposed. The government would need to come out clean on some of these issues that involve money and whose figures are being juggled. Very soon, the citizens of Osun State would demand for what has been done with their resources in four years, just like Aregbesola and the ACN were asking the immediate past former governor before he came out clean before Aregbesola’s probe panel.

Ironically too, the state government is recommending the “Opon Imo” to other states of the federation for a bandwagon effect. Who would buy a scheme that is still experimental? No serious government wants to toy with the lives and future of its pupils. The Osun State Government has also not told Nigerians the other side or the negative sides of this “Opon Imo”. There is the challenge of power supply, and there is the need for these pupils to print out important parts of the textbooks for memorisation and easy study, yet there are no printers. Many more issues remained unanswered.

The main concern of our people today is that the government should stop overstating its “achievements”, if any. The government is being challenged to come out clean and prove to Osun State citizens how it is saving N8.6bn annually with the abolition of textbooks and the introduction of “Opon Imo”. How much is the total annual budget of the Ministry of Education? Please, let all this propaganda stop.

You are ignorant doesn't mean everyone else is blind. How many news i've I written that is considered to be false. Check out my posts. I'm a credible journalist. I follow the rules of reporting from the basics which also goes to confirming from the horse's mouth before reporting. There are also times you'll quote the horses themselves as sources especially when you're friend with the them. I don't know if its you or another ignorant like you who said my 2shot wedding date was fake when I broke the news. Well it turned out to be true.

Point of correction: I didn't say that he took her to the studio. The story is not built around the photo. I didn't start out by saying photos or proof. So you get your ass together and choose yours words carefully that's if you know how to write one. Don't just call people names.
Again, Adams dated Chidinma and it wasn't hidden. Chidinma never dated Dammy Crane. Adams, Dammy crane, Chidinma alongside some guys are in thesame caucus.

Celebrities / Kate Henshaw Hangs Out With a Nigerian Man After Being Dumped By Oyinbo Husband by wwwaprokome(f): 10:53am On May 13, 2013
Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw was the envy of her female
colleagues before the good went bad. The former Onga ambassador
was quoted as saying she can’t marry a Nigerian man because they
cannot treat a women well.
“As for me, I thank God I did not marry a Nigerian, they are too
demanding and bossy, but a good Oyinbo man will treat you like a
queen that you are.” she had said.
Now the script may have changed.
As reported earlier, Kate Henshaw who was dumped by her Oyinbo
husband was spotted at Shoprite last week with a Nigerian man. One
can tell that the dude is well to do from his appearance. Let’s hope its
not what we are assuming.
In my opinion, marrying a white person (either man or woman) is just
not the right thing to do for Nigerians and I’ll tell you why. They end
marriage not even relationship alone cause of silly mistakes. It could
be because you fart. Yes it does happen! Endurance in marriage or
relationship does not exist in their dictionary. “Honey I can’t go ahead
with this anymore and phew! off they walk out of a ten year marriage.
I’m not a racist. This is just my believe. What is yours?

HMNNNNN.......
nora544: For me the family come first, i have to look that i can pay my bills, because no pastor will pay my bills, what will happen when i give him the money for my house rent and i will lose my house, will he give me a place in his church, will he sell his car that i can get a new house no.

For me first come the family, that mean my husband and my children, than come my parents that i try to help them when they have no money and than when i can afford it i can give money to the pastor.

But the nigerian problem is first the pastor because he brainwashed me that when i give him all, money will come back more than i give to him. This will not happen so he will tell me you don't pray, so he will tell you please give me money that i can pray for you that it will be happen..........
Religion / Which Of These Has More Blessing, To Give To Your Pastor Or Your Parents? by wwwaprokome(f): 8:42am On May 12, 2013
Early this year in my church, a father of one of our young youth leaders in his early 30s came to church and asked the Pastor to stop his son from coming to church. The man didn't have any problem being a Muslim and his son a Christian, what he had problem with was the blind giving of his son to the church and the pastor. He said his son's newly wedded wife cried to him severally because he doesn't perform his duties at home instead gives to the church and the pastor. I heard of a case where he gave our Pastor N500,000 but was owing house rent. I heard the whole gist when I asked someone about the guy cause I suddenly stopped seeing him in church. I don't know how it was resolved but the guys has since stopped coming to church.

I don't think someone who doesn't give to his wife would give to his parents. Some churches number one partners' parents are living in penury.

Happy Sunday Seun, Please today is Sunday ooo let's have plenty contribution. (lol)

Entertainment / Woman Power–agn President, Ibinabo Gets Bus Gift For AGN, Launches Film Initiatv by wwwaprokome(f): 8:15pm On May 11, 2013
Now you all men need to sit and let women lead. Less than a year after she assumed office as the first female president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria,AGN, Ibinabo Fiberesima has proved that she is a woman with a mission to rewrite the story of the guild in a way no man has done.

During the week, the mixed-race actress shocked members of the guild when she presented the key to an 18-setter brand new Toyota Hi-ace bus to the chairman of the guild’s Board of Trustee, Mr Ifeanyi Dike, at its Secretariat at Ajao road, Surulere. The bus was said to have been donated to the guild by a top government official and a lover of the industry.

Maybe when you allow us rule this country, we’ll meet with world leaders and bring their goodies here. It doesn’t matter how we get it. That’s the power of our “U.S.B” port. lol Continue reading biko.

Her administration has commenced Health Management Scheme as well as Insurance screening for actors and actress which she promised them upon her assumption of office last year.

She also launched the AGN film initiative, calling on the six geo-political zones to submit scripts that would be funded by the National executive of the guild. The film, she explained will feature members from the state chapters within the respective zone.

Celebrities / A MUST READ! Nigerian Porn Star, Afrocandy's Dirty Secrets Revealed By Husband by wwwaprokome(f): 12:08pm On May 10, 2013
I came across this article as far back as 2011 so I decided to fetch it out again for you to have an understanding of her background and not be surprised when you see her doing porn film. In her most recent interview, she claimed she'll be doing a real porn movie. Yes live sex!

According to her ex husband, Judith had an affair with her landlord and neighbours, she called her boyfriend her uncle and DNA shows that he is not the father of her their second child which she later admitted.

Read the article below:

Looking at things happening to Judith Opara Mazagwu, aka Afrocandy, Nigerian artiste based in the United States, it appears that controversy is gradually becoming her second name. First, the video of her current work, Ikebe Na Moni, caused a stir on the Internet and major blogs, to the extent that angry Nigerians fired her hate mails. Currently, her marriage is a subject of controversy.

This budding artiste had told our sister publication, Daily Sun, in an interview published on September 3, 2010, that she didn’t dump her US-based husband, Boltin Mazagwu. She had said in that interview: “There has been lots of rumours going on about my marriage and it is only a few people who know the truth. The fact is, I did not leave my husband; my husband rather left, due to some gossip he heard about something that happened back in Nigeria before I joined him in the US. I begged him and he came back. When he left the second time, that pushed me to give him a restraining order. I really would not like to go into details because I see that as past and I will like the past to remain where it belongs because I have moved on; talking about it takes me backward.”
Boltin Elumelu Mazagwu, the artiste’s husband, who read the interview on line, has been furious. In his reaction, he accused Judith of cheating on him while their marriage lasted. He also said that a DNA test has revealed that he is not the biological father of their second daughter.

Revealing how he met Judith, Mazagwu said: “I worked a while is Lagos before I relocated to USA. I came for holidays with my siblings and my uncle arranged for me to get a wife. There were three ladies he wanted me to meet and choose from. On my way to check out these ladies, I met Judith, my ex-wife. Because I like fair complexioned ladies, I took her in my car and we got talking. She told me that her name was Sandra, which I later found out was false. She told me she was a student of IMT, Enugu, which was also false. She never enrolled at IMT. When I offered to drive her to her home, she told me she was staying with her uncle. I discovered that the said uncle was her boyfriend. My friend at Onitsha, Omoba, revealed these to me.

“The following day, I went to pick her up and we went to Enugu. After shopping at Onitsha, we came to Lagos, to the apartment where I lived at Ajao Estate. When I was going back to the US, I left the apartment for her. I was sending her money, although I had a hunch about her lifestyle. I remember telling her the day we met that my people won’t allow me marry an Owerri woman, since she told me she was from Owerri. After three months, I came to Nigeria and spent 11 months here with her. At this time, I had abandoned the idea of marrying the Onitsha lady I was supposed to marry. Judith and I stayed in a hotel because I lost my job and abandoned college back in New York. I got broke at some point during that period and I moved in with a friend, Christopher, at Okota. He really didn’t want me to marry Judith and it was a fight between us. He actually pushed Judith out of the house. People we stayed in their homes refused her.”

He said that members of her family opposed his relationship with Judith, but he ignored their position. He said: “They vehemently opposed our union and yet I wouldn’t listen. It was war in my family. My mum and my aunt didn’t want her. My people didn’t want me to marry her, even when she had become pregnant with her child; they told her after I managed to go back to New York, that they would gladly take the baby from her if she delivered, but that I would never marry her.
“When I returned again, I went to her parents; they appealed to me and told me that their people never get divorced once they are married. I respected their opinion because they are good Christians. When I went back to USA, my cousin who trades at Balogun gave her N200, 000.00 in 1995. You know the value of money at that time, but I paid back in dollar equivalent. All these were attempts to make sure that she got an apartment, which she did at No. 2 Alhaji Azeez Street Mafoluku, Oshodi, Lagos. Before the introduction of Western Union Money Transfer, I was sending money to her constantly. There was this African American publication called JET. I would put money in between the pages, seal it and sent it through Red Star every week. When Western Union came, my name became a household name at Oba Akran branch of Union Bank.”

He said this continued until, “2002 when she started talking about acting in movies. I objected to that and maintained that I didn’t want her to go into acting. I needed her to take care of the kids, full time and also to get her busy. We quarrelled over it that night and I almost gave up on her, but because of my polygamous background and knowing what growing up was for us, the idea of leaving her was knocked off. I also love my children, Annabel and Angel, so much because at that time, I didn’t know that Angel was fathered by another man.”

When asked what he meant by ‘Angel was fathered by another man, Mazagwu said: “When she sent me her pictures, I suspected, from the child’s facial features that she didn’t look like me. When I complained, she told me that the girl took after my mother’s people. She stopped at nothing to make me believe all her lies. She is a pathological liar. When I confronted her with the DNA results, she confessed that indeed, I am not Angel’s father and rationalised her actions to loneliness and temptation.”

On his allegation that his wife had multiply partners, he said: “In the apartment I rented for her, she had affairs with the landlord because she lied about her marital status. She didn’t tell the man she was married. It was only when trouble broke out that the landlord knew her real status. Also, a guy across the street, named Goddy from Abia State, laid accusations on her. She couldn’t deny this. I know Goddy; whenever I came to town, she would tell me that Goddy was a chief from Abia State and I took them that way, not knowing they were dating.”

One how the bubble burst, the angry ex-hubby said: “She started leaving the kids all by themselves. She would leave them and hit the clubs. I was boiling, but she had gone full circle. So, in January 2006, I came to Nigeria to investigate the whole thing and discovered everything was true. Before I returned from Nigeria she ran to the child support in the US to file a report that I had abdicated my responsibility. She went to the Nigeria Catholic community to complain. When I returned and told the church what had happened, it was shocking to them.

Music/Radio / You Don't Need Starboy Entertainment! – My Note To Wizkid by aproko by wwwaprokome(f): 10:21am On May 10, 2013
You know Wizkid is back to EME but with a new agreement. He released pictures of his new Artistes on Starboy Entertainment record yesterday but no official statement has been made yet to ascertain their names except for his announcement on twitter.

Dear Wizzy,

I know this is born out of the greedy thought of making what your record label made off you but guy, someone has got to make it off you before you can make it off people but not by the establishment of a record label at this stage of your life cause you lack the competency to run one. And if it’s its about the title, “chairman star boy entertainment” you’ll have to retrace your steps.

Take it or leave it, I think what you need right now is radical investments beyond the entertainment industry. Even though I assume you’ve got professional(s) managing it, you alone can’t survive under your own record label how much more signing new artistes. A lot of Artistes who tried it regretted. Ask 2face with his Hypertek Artistes, Terry G and his madness team, Timaya and his Dem mama soldiers. Banky W‘s EME survival is just one of the rare fortunate ones that might never happen again in Nigeria in the next 10 years. D’banj have not had a stable management since he left Mo’hits managed by Sunday Are. He even made a mistake of hiring a tout to manage him (Watch the making of Oliver Twist to know what I mean)

2baba was ‘just there’ after Kennis music until he got one of the industry’s best in the person of Efe Omoregbe to manage him. Don’t get me wrong, his talent didn’t disappear after he parted ways with Kennis, his management just took years to stabilize and is still growing up till now. Foreign Affairs / Bangladeshi Couple Die Embracing As Factory Collapsed by wwwaprokome(f): 10:15pm On May 09, 2013
A HAUNTING image has emerged of a couple who perished in the Bangladesh factory collapse – clutching each other as they died.

With rubble, dust and metal strewn around, the lifeless woman is seen doubled backwards as the man tenderly wraps his arms around her.

Reams of light-blue clothing material – which would have been made in the garment factory – wrap around the wreckage as a trail of blood runs from the man's eyes.

More than 900 people are now known to have died – with around 2,500 people injured – in last month's collapse of the factory near Bangladeshi capital Dhaka.

Entertainment / Hehehe! See This "Man in the hood-like" house In China! by wwwaprokome(f): 8:53pm On May 09, 2013
I heard Chinese authorities have blocked people searching for the pictures of the official Communist Party newspaper because of the obvious look – giant penis.

The building is under construction with top part covered in scaffolding. It will house people’s daily news paper, the official mouthpiece of China’s ruling party in Beijing, China after completion.

Sports / Brazil prostitutes learn English for Nigerians, others by wwwaprokome(f): 8:25am On May 07, 2013
Nigerian football fans at the FIFA Confederations Cup in Brazil will likely not have difficulty negotiating for sex during the tournament as the host county’s prostitutes have started English lessons in order to serve clients better.

The Super Eagles feature in the competition as African champions, playing in Group B alongside Spain, Uruguay and Tahiti.

Nigeria are the only English-speaking nation in the tournament, raising suspicion that the sex pros are actually waiting warmly to welcome the West Africans next month.

According to AFP, Belo Horizonte, venue of Nigeria’s first match against Tahiti, has 80,000 sex workers who are counting on brisk business as authorities predict 40,000 tourists will be in town during the tournament.

An estimated 140,000 tourists are expected to follow for the 2014 World Cup.

With that in mind, the Association of Prostitutes has been offering free English classes to its members at a local mall since March.

“We teach basic expressions but also have demonstrations with erotic paraphernalia so they can learn the names, how to use them and propose them,” said Igor Fuchs, a volunteer who also teaches Spanish and French.

So far, 300 prostitutes have signed up.

“Tourists are going to flock here and those who come from abroad like to spend,” said 26-year-old Vitoria, as she waited for work at one of many sex motels on busy Guaicurus Street.

On average, she sees 20 customers a day in her tiny room, with 15-minute sessions costing between $10 and $25.

But not all are sold on the need to speak English – or any other foreign language for that matter.

“I know basic words such as ‘good morning’ and ‘condom’,” said 31-year-old Juliana across the street.

“For the rest, I get by with gestures. All men are the same. They come for the same thing. No need for words.”

Belo Horizonte is not the only Brazilian city taking steps to beef up its sex industry offerings ahead of the World Cup, which will be followed by the 2016 Summer Olympics.

Celebrities / P-square's Paul Okoye Welcomes Child With 19 Year Old Beauty Queen - Confirmed by wwwaprokome(f): 7:13am On May 06, 2013
I read this story on Sahara Reporters that Paul Okoye of P-Square has welcomed a child with 19 year old MBGN contestant, after reading the story, I contacted a close friend from P-Square's camp and the person said its true. My source sleeps and wakes up in the square villa and travels with them everywhere. we've known each other since 2008, as we were talking, he gave the phone to another person whom I know briefly and the person also confirmed it. I didn't even tell them that I now have a blog. lol

"Paul isn't denying the pregnancy, all he wants is a DNA test which he's not had time to travel for now but the girl in question wouldn't calm down because of cheap publicity" my friend said. "but as the case is, he'll have to deny it since that's what she wants" the other person added.

Read how Sahara reporter is reporting below:

Nigeria’s hip hop sensation, P Square (real name Paul Okoye), has reportedly abandoned the mother of his second baby in a London hospital where the woman recently gave birth to the entertainer’s baby.

A few weeks after welcoming his first new born baby in Atlanta, P Square – who is also known as P2 – had another baby delivered for him in a London hospital by a former beauty pageant contestant. However, this time, P Square has refused to claim paternal responsibility for the baby boy.

SaharaReporters learnt that the new baby’s mother is Elshama Benson Igbanoi, a 19-year-old and former Miss Plateau State. Our sources disclosed that she gave birth at the Queen Charlotte and Chelsea Hospital on Du Cane Road, London W12 0HS

Our sources said the new mother had been in touch with P2, but he had not been forthcoming beyond telling her that he plans to arrive in London for a DNA test to ascertain paternity. SaharaReporters spoke to the woman’s father, Benson Igbanoi, in Abuja. Mr. Igbanoi stated that his daughter was faithful to the musician. He also revealed that he had sent several emails to P Square concerning his daughter’s pregnancy for him, but had received no response.

Another source said Elshama's family had contacted Paul Okoye's father and aunt to persuade the musician to accept responsibility for his baby.
Ms. Elshama insists that she never slept with any man except for P2, adding that she lost her virginity to him when she was 17 years old.

SaharaReporters learnt that the London hospital where she gave birth has not received any payments. “The hospital has been harassing both Elshama and her mother to pay hospital bills of over £5,000 that have been incurred,” said one source. The baby boy has been named Michelle Paul Okoye.
In a twist to the story, a source close to the former beauty queen said Ms. Elshama was a close friend to Anita, the other woman who gave birth to another baby for P2 a few weeks ago in Atlanta, Georgia.

Celebrities / TOP TEN Most Scandalised Nollywood Damsels! by wwwaprokome(f): 6:06pm On May 04, 2013
While some of these actresses have ignored many scandals trailing their career, others have simply laughed them off. Like, in every movie industry, there are practitioners who crave for attention and thus ,go the extra mile to expose certain aspects of their lives to make the headlines.

Here are the top ten actresses who have been severally scandalised. Interestingly, these scandals, true or false, have never dented their careers, instead, they have come out of them stronger, bigger and more popular: See the list after the cut:

Tonto Dikeh

Tonto is arguably the most scandalised actress in Nollywood. Every time her name comes up in the papers it seems to be about one controversy or the other. Some have said she found her way to stardom riding on the wings of controversies and it seems much of it is true as Tonto seems to take up roles most of her colleagues wouldn’t dare. The daring actress has played all kinds of roles, most of which bothered on near nudity and soft porn.

She astounded the movie world not too long ago when she revealed that it was Jimmy Jatt who deflowered her. Such is the boldness of the Rivers State born actress. There have also been rumours of her sexual involvements with several artistes including Tuface, KC Presh, Wizkid and even Iyanya.

When she veered into music, like some of her peers have done, it was controversy galore again as many critics took her to teh cleaners, hinting the actress has nothing of a singer in her. And just recently she posted a near naked picture of herself on Twitter with large tattoos on her back.

Nuella Njubigbo

‘Ella’ as she is fondly called by her many fans have been linked to series of romance tales within and outside the industry. The first tale that went viral was the romantic involvement with Yul Edochie and it appeared there was an element of truth in that. At least, the dashing actor once owned up to the relationship and asserted it happened long before he met his wife.

Though Nuella has come out to deny all these series of romances, however the echoes still linger. The one about her and the director, Tchidi Chikere was particularly poignant to her as her PR person had to come out and release a statement on the matter. She has also been alleged to be in a relationship with a state governor from the South-South region, which reportedly earned her a SUV. Others who have been linked with her in the past include footballer Emmanuel Emenike and a few others.

Cossy Orjiakor

Cossy has said she is one of the most misjudged persons in the entertainment industry but that does not excuse her image of ‘high octane sensuality’. Her boobs have become the label through which people identify her and she doesn’t help matters as she flaunts these at every occasion.
The most popular scandal about her is that of her sleeping with a dog for a fee but Cossy has denied this at every turn. If she is truly misjudged it cannot be about her excesses in exposing her sexy body. Recently she tweeted near-naked pictures of herself just to show off her new panties and also posted in the social media a picture of herself in ‘orgasmic bliss’, possibly giving her fans the picture of herself at the height of a sexual act. But with all her excesses, Cossy is down-to earth and focused.

Lola Alao

Lola was recently thrown into a controversy involving her good friend, Bisi Ibidapo-Obe and a member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Dino Melaye. It was a messy affair and Lola, who said she was wrongly accused and implicated in the matter, was at the centre of it all.

Before the Lola-Bisi-Dino saga, there was the issue of her husband, who labelled her on the pages of newspaper as “diabolical” but Lola said in a recent interview that she doesn’t bear grudges against anyone. In spite of her former husband’s campaign in the media to drag her name in the mud Lola has never once spoken ill of the man and even saying “I liked the guy. He was a nice guy. It just didn’t work out”

Funke Akindele

Funke was really an actress with many sex scandals. It was rumoured that she had escapades with some notable men before her marriage to Oshodi big boy, Alhaji Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede. Even her marriage which held the movie world spellbound was enmeshed in controversy. She has been implicated in secret relationship with many of her colleagues

Bisi Ibidapo Obe

Bisi Ibidapo-Obe is not new to controversies in fact this beautiful actress has always had one controversy or the other trailing her. Her alleged relationships with Timaya, K1 and several others made headlines not too long ago. And recently her controversial personality took a dive after she announced that Dino Melaye was responsible for her pregnancy.

The tabloid again was filled with tales of Bisi and Melaye’s alleged romance-which the ex-honour bale member denied. Seven months after she claimed she met the father of her child, she was delivered of a baby girl and she was once again in the news when she named the child after Dino Melaye.

Genevieve Nnaji

Despite her super star status in the industry, Genevieve has had her own fair share of controversies to add to her growing profile. Before she became as big as she is today she was reportedly involved in romanctic affairs with several actors, such as Pat Attah, Kunle Coker and others. And when the tale of a man who claimed to be the father of her only child waged a media blitz on her, Genevieve’s popularity soared.

She was even said to have dated an ex Vice President. On top of all that there is a lingering rumour of her secret affair with D’Banj, which many have said could lead somewhere.

Foluke Daramola

Before her blissful marriage to her heart-throb,Kayode Salako of Change Agent of Nigeria Network, Foluke was fingered in the break-up of Kayode Salako and his estranged wife, Pastor (Mrs.) Bukola Salako.

Before then there was also a controversy that Foluke was evicted from her home by her landlord for inability to pay her rent. But most of the scandals about her have been put to rest as the actress has been vindicated.

Health / OUTBREAK! New Sexually Transmitted Disease That’s More Contagious Than HIV Found by wwwaprokome(f): 12:02pm On May 04, 2013
According to the FDA, there is a new “SUPER BUG” that is resistant to ALL KNOWN anti-biotics. They say that about 50% of the people who catch it – DIE!!!

Here is how the Associated Press is reporting it!

“An antibiotic-resistant strain of gonorrhea—now considered a superbug—has some analysts saying that the bacteria’s effects could match those of AIDS.

“This might be a lot worse than AIDS in the short run because the bacteria is more aggressive and will affect more people quickly,” said Alan Christianson, a doctor of naturopathic medicine.

Even though nearly 30 million people have died from AIDS related causes worldwide, Christianson believes the effect of the gonorrhea bacteria is more direct.

Please Continue reading

“Getting gonorrhea from this strain might put someone into septic shock and [rip] in a matter of days,” Christianson said. “This is very dangerous.”

“It’s an emergency situation,” said William Smith, executive director of the National Coalition of STD Directors. “As time moves on, it’s getting more hazardous.”

This gonorrhea strain, HO41, was discovered in Japan two years ago in a 31-year-old female secks worker who had been screened in 2009. The bacteria has since been found in Hawaii, California and Norway.

Because it resists current antibiotic treatment, the strain has been placed in the superbug category with other resistant bacteria, such as MRSA and CRE. These superbugs kill about half the people they attack, and nearly one in 20 hospital patients become infected with one, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.”
