Sports / Eight Own-goal Facts About United by xagaboi(m): 1:40pm On Aug 09, 2015
EIGHT OWN-GOAL FACTS ABOUT UNITED

After Tottenham Hotspur defender Kyle Walker stabbed the ball past Michel Vorm to hand Manchester United a perfect start to 2015/16, here are eight facts about own goals...

1. Saturday's winner was the first own goal in United's favour since Wes Morgan put through his own net for Leicester City on 31 January last season.

2. The last time the Reds benefited from an own goal on the opening day of the season was in August 2011, against West Brom at The Hawthorns, when Steven Reid deflected an Ashley Young cross past ex-United keeper Ben Foster.

3. Kyle Walker's error was the first own goal to be the opening strike of a Premier League season.

4. The first Spurs player to score an own goal for United was Alf Ramsey in 1952, while the last to do it before Walker was Ramon Vega in 1997. The full list of own goals scored for the Reds by Spurs: Alf Ramsey (1952), Phil Beal (1965 and 1968), John Pratt (1975), Paul Miller (1979), Ramon Vega (1997), Kyle Walker (2015).

5. In February 2001, United beat Everton without having a single shot on target. The Reds won 1-0 courtesy of a Steven Watson own goal.

6. 'Own goals' is the club's fifth-highest scorer in history with 181 goals. Only Sir Bobby Charlton, Denis Law, Wayne Rooney and Jack Rowley have netted more times for the Reds.

7. United have benefited more than any other club from own goals in Premier League history with 63. Ten of them came in the 2009/10 season - the most the Reds have had in a single campaign.

8. Wes Brown, John O’Shea, Henning Berg and Jonny Evans are the joint-highest scorers of own goals at the Reds' expense, having all put through their own net three times during their United careers.

Shut your trap!
What has Buhari done for you to be blabling about like a kid who candy was given to.
Since Buhari was installed into office:
- naira has been subsequently falling in worth.
- people die like mosquitoes everyday.
- some areas are even experiencing an epileptic power outage compared to when Gej was in power. . .
So I can rise up to declare that Buhari is on a slow pace and he's yet to tackle something tangible.

Guy stop been a bitch d difrence is clear u ar just a hater and pls try get smal brain nd b4 u get naija would hv move forward nonsense
Politics / The Slow Pmb by xagaboi(m): 7:30am On Jul 26, 2015
BUHARI IS SLOW BUT Megawatts is
constantly increasing. Buhari is slow foreign
reserves are growing. This Buhari is slow
but NNPC and NNLG are crediting fund into
FG account even though no petroleum and
Finance Minister yet. This man is very slow
but state Governors where given N413.07
Billion to pay unpaid salary in their states.
No Doubt Buhari is slow but EFCC and ICPC
are busy arresting suspects and charging
them to court. No, he is very slow but US
and other European countries have started
freezing accounts of our looted funds. But
come if this Buhari should be fast what do
you think will happen?
