It was gathered that man accused his mother for being responsible for all his misfortunes in life.

According to a facebook user @Prince Silver Anyanwu Jr who shared the story;

“His pastor told him that his mother is a witch and responsible for his misfortunes and he went straight to his mother and beat her to death. What a sad story”.

Nigerian jailed for raping minor in Ghana

A Circuit Court in Ghana has jailed a Nigerian immigrant, 33-year-old Obinna Mba, for raping a 12-year-old girl in Nungua, a town in the Municipal District in Accra, the country’s state capital, the Ghanaian state-owned Graphic Online reports.
According to the newspaper,on Saturday, a judge, Rita Doko, sentenced Mr Mba to seven years imprisonment after he was found guilty on the charge of defilement.
The court also ordered the convict’s deportation back to his home country after serving his sentence.
The prosecutor, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Agnes Boafo, narrated how Mr Mba lured the minor to his shop and had sexual intercourse with her.
He also said the victim kept the ordeal to herself because the convict had threatened her to keep mum or she loses her life.
The police boss further said it was the victim’s mother that made the complaints after she discovered what had happened.
”The victim, mother, and Mba reside in the same vicinity at Nungua in Accra.
”In August, last year, Mba’s sister sent the victim to collect some sacks at her shop so she could pack some plantain leaves into them.
”On reaching the shop, she met Mba, who lured her into the shop and had sex with her. After the act, Mba warned the victim not to disclose the act to anyone else she would die,” Mr Boafo explained.
”Mba became so close to the victim afterward and her mother became suspicious of their relationship.
”When the victim’s mother questioned her over the said relationship, the victim let the cat out of the bag and a report was made to the Domestic Violence and Victim’s Support Unit, Nungua.
The prosecution officer explained that the convict was arrested based on report gotten from medical laboratory tests.
”The mother was issued with a medical form to seek medical attention for the victim and based on the report, the police arrested Mba.”

The Imo state police command have arrested a 23-year-old lady, Chinonye Oparaocha, alongside other suspects for allegedly selling her six hours old baby boy for N850,000, shortly after delivery at a hospital along Nekede road in Owerri West Local Government Area of Imo state.

A statement from the state police command spokesperson, Orlando Ikeokwu, says that the baby was sold by a nurse, Confidence Anyanwu, who facilitated the shady deal.

The statement reads

“On 8/02/2019, at an undisclosed clinic along Nekede Road in Owerri West L.G.A, one Chinonye Oparaocha ‘f’ was delivered of a baby boy. The said Chinonye Oparaocha later conspired with one Confidence Anyanwu, a nurse and native of Umuhu Okwuato in Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area but resident at No. 41 Mbaise Road Owerri in company of her husband Amaeze Anyanwu now at large who carried the six (6) hours born baby to Port – Harcourt in Rivers State where one Duru Christian was waiting for them.

On arrival at Port – Harcourt, Duru Christian in the company of one Mrs George Iyowuna met them at the hideout, took over the baby boy and handed over to a prospective buyer one Mrs William Cynthia and her husband who eventually paid the sum of N850, 000.00 (eight hundred and fifty thousand naira).on 13/04/2019.

Operatives of the Scorpion Squad arrested the above-named suspects and recovered the newly born baby boy Abiya William while efforts are on-going to arrest the fleeing members of the syndicate. “Suspects have made useful statements to the police concerning the crime and are helping the police in the investigation.”
