I already have a will even as young as I am and it's regularly updated as I acquire new assets and my family and circle becomes bigger by the day. I just don't know what is wrong with Africans and their reluctance to write a will, now look, a will would have prevented all these happening right now

I've seen children suffer greatly because their Uncles took charge of their deceased father's properties. Many promising lives have been cut short or destinies delayed because of that. Brothers usually take care of their families first before they think of others. I remember the case of a man who trained his brother and later made him the administrator of his estate. It was always a herculean task getting him to sign cheques for the children's school fees and needs even though they reverted to public schools and they had sufficient funds from their dad's investments. The woman ended up taking on so many petty jobs in addition to the basic one just to survive. She had no say and wasn't keen on remarrying.

May we be blessed to guide and care for our kids till they're strong enough to stand on their own. May we live long to reap the fruits of our labour.

Always best to write a will. A wife can be restricted due to lack of trust but she remains the best guardian for her children.

Though the news maybe fake, I reacted based on what's happening in our society these days. In most cases, people blindly support women in situations like this all with the excuse of taking care of the man's children. Many women who were not there when the man hustled his money have capitalized on the societal sentiments to kill their husbands and personalize his wealth. Whereas in many cases even, the man's family take care of his children better. In my own family, we have children of dead poor uncles who are under our roofs being taken care of. So, I know that no woman will take care of my children better than my siblings.

If I have daughters, I'll raise them to be independent minded. To make their own money and have some wealth of her own that can be inherited. Not hoping and looking for a man to leach on. I'll teach them to relate with the humanity in men and not with their material possessions like most Nigerian ladies of nowadays do.

bro no one knows when death will come I bet if the man knew that day he wouldn't have gone anywhere.its a good thing secure the future for kids and wife but people always forget their family members those are the people who mostly stand with you when one is still struggling so always include them that's when peace can reign.if you trust your wife please don't always hide anything from her and make no your movements because anything can sup at anytime or if you son is old enough to handle things reveals everything to him . that was how I lost a land because my father didn't reveal where the land is to me before

Do not wish bad for any gender no matter the havoc they have caused. Not sure you have a child and if you do, not sure you have a girl child.

If you have a girl child, I pray you live long to see her husband in this situation or more. Then, you understand why you respect people no matter the gender or havoc.

Now, the woman is the problem because she's female and brothers are right because they are male? And you co-accept their attitude? Without even checking whether the news is fake or real or even listen to both sides.. All these just because you dislike the female gender.?

And I repeat, if I couldn't write my will before dying, my spirit will be more at peace knowing that my blood brothers are controlling my wealth than some useless wife But I know I'll do a proper will beforehand so I can share my wealth the way I want and no wife is getting a dime from my wealth. I have my reasons and my reasons are justified.
