Terry1: You are right sir, Please to all of us, we have to make noise, we have to go that extra miles for our remainin tranches to be paid. If we keep quiet it means we are contented and are ok like somebody already said, but we are not. Pls lets stand up for our future and the future of all our employees and the economy of Nigeria. President Buhari wants to create more employment and YouWin is on track and has good records, I believe if we make him to see this, he will order that our monies be paid full and maybe all our new and existing business a bus each to encourage us. Denn, xdream, chukwuka12, hmb, jeffmyson, wakes, And all of us that i cannot remember the names, pls lets make more noise on social media Someone suggested we write and/or tweet to Ben Murray Bruce, informing him of our plight and the disastrous business quagmire we are facing as YouWiN awardees and I think that's a very good suggestion. Let's tweet to him @benmurraybruce At this point in time, if we seat and expect payment without doing nothing then we may just be hallucinating. |

Terry1: Its really important and sensible if YouWIN 3 is rounded up successfully this year before whatever rebranding will take place. I thought the YouWIN funds were kept aside and were from 2014 budget. I have confidence that the new administration will not allow businesses of a thousand plus Nigerian youth die out natural deaths just because the programme was initiated by a previous government. Most people quit their jobs to concentrate on building their businesses and create more employments, not get frustrated and go back to looking for jobs again.
Please we have to find more effective way of reaching the people concerned (Mr. President, Accountant General of the Federation, Minister of Finance, YouWIN secretariat, etc) to round up Youwin 3 Well said. But do you think the government even give a f*ck about us? I mean the new administration. |

YouWiN could be rebranded but may be far away from giving out grant.
However, let's hope that YouWiN 3 would round up successfully. |

Initially, YouWiN secretariat said they were "processing" the fund. Later, they told us they are having issues with some banks and the issues would be resolved as soon as possible. But now, the story line has changed. YouWiN secretariat is now waiting for "code" so that disbursement could continue.
...and I ask myself, how long will it take our dear YouWiN secretariat to generate this code or wait for the code to be generated? A month? A year or a decade?
I know even if disbursement would continue, the YouWiN secretariat will always mail us on the code generation proceedings. You and I know that YouWiN things don't come easy.
I ain't seeing disbursement taking place anytime soon my dear awardees. |

olumze: Brethren, does anyone have information about the whereabouts a Rivers State awardee of YouWin 3 named OLALEKAN YUSUF? His phone lines have not been going through and he has a lot of cases to answer here in Port Harcourt. He abused the trust of fellow awardees and defaulted on his obligations. I know he follows this thread, and i want to give him the opportunity to right the wrongs he has done before i disclose them publicly. So OLALEKAN YUSUF, if you are reading this, ....... me my ......... pls Hmm... Let me sit back and relax as this unfolds |

Greetings great entrepreneurs!
First of all, I would like to appreciate the efforts of the comrades (names withheld) that travelled to fmf, Abuja to question and inquire the endless delay in tranches disbursement for YouWiN! 3.
Meanwhile, few newspapers and television stations have been informed about how YouWiN! 3 awardees businesses are suffering owing to the lack of fund for production and/or operation.
lnfurtherance to this, all awardees from all geopolitical zones are to be present in the press conference that would take place next week. (Mention with your whatsapp number for details of the press conference).
At this juncture, let's put aside our political differences and work together as a family. |

okoji: It is sad that a program that started in 2013 cannot be wrapped up till now. From the way things are, it might even stretch to 2016. What is the rational of leaving people hanging like this? The tranche payments should not exceed 2 months. Dragging it out like this makes no sense and creates problems for businesses. I don't understand why they couldn't pay before the elections, busy talking about people using the money for christmas. Is it this system of not paying some people their second tranche for no fault of theirs that is better?. It is very annoying. Everyone should have gotten their third tranche by now. This is one of the reasons we were against change. Now change has come and those that clamoured for it have gone dumb. Well if they are ashamed to chant "Sai Baba" I will help them out. Sai Baba!!! Sai Buhari!!! Changeeeeeeeeeeeeee Rubbish!!! |

CoolKizzy: Oh, so you triggered? You should have waited for second tranche to be fully disbursed before you trigger to show your support and comrade spirit to our brothers with delayed second tranche. People like me that didn't even trigger are branded selfish and greedy while people who pay lip service call themselves saints. I haven't commented here in a while and had to comment to correct some silly, irrational and childish dictator role some people are trying to play here. You are just blabbing. Could you please excuse or squeeze yourself outta my mentions? Thanks |

Those chanting for third tranche payment will become greedy politicians (if they have the ambition)
But I guarantee that I will always be there to checkmate any of them.
Please, for those expecting their second tranche, all I can say now is cryyyyyy to God.
My monitor would visit me today and I would ask him questions pertaining to the delaying in disbursing the remaining second tranche.
Peace be unto us. |

stagger: I remember some of us were here to warn people about the use of the 1st tranche judiciously because in Nigeria, anything can happen. Now there is total confusion with the change of regimes. NOI is gone from there and there is no Finance Minister. So the question is: who is running things at the YouWIN secretariat?
As for the guy accusing those talking about 3rd tranche after receiving their 2nd tranche as Boko Haram, I will only say this: you really must be a joker to think that someone who has received his 2nd tranche will leave his business he or she is trying to prepare for 3rd tranche to come looking after you guys.
I have one last question for you "xdream": in your hearts of hearts, who did you vote for in the last election? Because anyone who is enjoying YouWIN and voted for Buhari is the real Boko Haram of the YouWIN program, the Judas and the Brutus of the program. Dont you ever refer to me as a joker. I can understand that you have been paid your second tranche, otherwise you wont welcome the idea of talks about third tranche. May i remind you that your third tranche would be paid base on your business performance? You should know this if you read your legal agreement carefully. Youwin categories third tranche as "take home" as they expect us to run our businesses with 70% of the youwin grant. I dont need to explain further, you should know this. By the way, i didnt only not vote for Buhari, i campaigned against him. I have testifiers here. Thank you! |
Business › Re: Youwin Business Competition 2013 by xdream(m): 12:07pm On Aug 24, 2015 |
Aleona: I asked the same question last week but it was completely ignored and talks about third tranche over shadowed it. It's just humane for those who have been paid to show alitle concern while trying to trigger as well. I know I'm new here but I've been following u guys since last year and you guys really encouraged me. We are all in this together. Honestly, if I say am happy with the way YouWiN! 3 implementation is going, then am not honest. The simple question I can't get an answer from is, what's delaying the remaining second tranche disbursement? Them say na process, biko the process na pregnancy wey go last 9months to bring an infant? If anyone is expecting third tranche, it ain't no crime but please don't talk about it here. Just imagine how we all would have been fighting one another here if no one is yet to be paid second tranche. Those of us that have received our second tranche and don't give a fvck about the remaining few are the real Boko Haram. Why the silence Let's speak, let's ask questions. If you've paid for a year office rent since February this year and you're yet to receive your second tranche, I don't think you'd be happy. That's exactly what our fellow awardees are facing, bitterness! So if you wanna talk about third tranche, talk about it privately. Don't make the people expecting their second tranche lose hope or feel rejected. God bless you and I. |

fishly: Tranche 3 would be paid by ending of September..... For all those already visited and reports submitted.
If your Youwin or Smedan monitor has not submitted his report, then you might expect a delay just like what some tranche 2 guys are facing now.
So call your monitors to ask them if the report has been sent.
Please don't ask how I got to know all these.
Thanks You're new on Nairaland. I smell another Beeza aka Mohammed83 here! Nigga shift back with your killer suspense. We are talking about tranche 2 here you talking nonsense!!! |
