I only use the glo for my BlackBerry no calls or anything like that. So if I recharge d 1k I do bis and it's gone. So some weeks bk I tried to check like a hundred times and it ddnt go cz my accnt is zero, so when I got message my bis is remaining the 147mb I recharged 1k and checked d balance, this time the message delivered and 4 naira was deducted. Ever since if I check they deduct my 4 naira. |
Is anybody experiencing this same thing? It's starting to be annoying! I can't use google, can't use youtube.

roqrules04:They charge for it now. The thing shock me sha! |
Nobody has gotten the text yet? It's almost 5th. I don't like how dz guys do their stuff, So impromptu. Anyways, after what I saw that day which got me thinking, I mean graduates of English, geography and other non relevant courses there and the amount of people, I decided to do some checking. I realised its not actually a training for graduates but for technicians. When the programme is over they will be a dilemma in employing them because what are they going to employ u as? Surely not as a graduate, cz u didn't receive d training for that. And not as a technician cz u r over qualified! They can't employ after the programme, that's why that woman made emphasis on self employment during the induction speech. The one for graduates is NAPTIN The training is for linesmen, cable jointing and operators. Now initially I thought they will rotate the trainees in all the plants (generation, transmission and distribution) but from the looks, this are things that are taught in a workshop. I had my hopes up this findings just killed them, and I have not seen d text yet cz I knw the amount they are paying will further kill some hopes. Anyways, let's keep d hope alive and be optimistic. Happy holidays |
Which is more accurate?

majekdom2:I just gave u an example bro. Even the smallest companies this days, there are the ones that do the man no man more. Evn this FG graduates scheme is on a nomination bases, if you don't know somebody to nominate you, you will not get a spot. And that's like lowest of jobs. My guy, it takes the grace of the Almighty, because no be by ur doing. |
majekdom2:When last did you see an advert for CBN, NCC, Mobile, Mint, NHIS and all this top places for graduate position? Yet the recruit all the time. My guy, na man no man. Evn if some of this place u have to prove your worth, na still person for inside go pass ur CV on. |
Watched a documentary some time ago, where they featured him. This guy has a stake in almost all the major companies in this world! If u walk into his office there are walls dedicated just for the company logos which he has a stake in. Omo, see as the walls full.. any major multinational, name it! The logo is on that wall. The funny thing is that even with all this, his still looking for ways to invest! Always reading and looking for opportunities. It takes a lot to be at the top! |
HzRF:Bigot! Is taliban in America or halfway across the world from them? |
mikeansy:Don't display ur ignorance abeg! Car manufacturing is different from assembly! Innoson assembles already desgined cars. |
Eke40seven:Thanks. What about the block account ish, and insurance and all that technicality? |
Hi guys, please I have a question. Guys over at Germany can you kindly advise. Can someone go to germany in summer to one school and maybe apply for winter into another school and make the switch during winter? Thanks Seasons greetings! |
the leadership in this country is no good. I mean how can we no know how many children the president has? What's with all the secrecy? This is the first family and Nigerians ought to know them. It's a shame! |
faceURfront:I get where you heading at, bro it's not like it's Nigerians that will be the brains behind such a colossal build! Burj al Arab was also constructed in the same 5 year time frame, are the arabs technologically advanced? Definitely not! But they sure know how to get value for their money! You hire the brains, and the labour work boku for ground! |
I am also looking to volunteer at any organisation too. I am good with CAD designs, mostly engineering design but I am open to anything as long as it is in line with the engineering discipline. Here is my resume https://www.nairaland.com/1880189/find-volunteers-here#25889321 |
faceURfront:Guy why are you talking like this na? We are a country of 100+ million. Are you trying to say finding a couple thousand ppl will be trouble? Manpower is one thing we have in abundance! Transport is also not an issue there are loads of company willing to provide that service, that's the reason the antonove was built, there are cargo ships available also. Nigeria can be more efficient than US. It just requires the right people at the helm of affairs. |
faceURfront:Why don't you do some reading and educate yourself. You think everybody acts like the corrupt entity called nigeria? Where a project of 6 months takes decades? People do real stand for accountability and efficency! http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hoover_Dam |
donguutti:Why do you think like dog na? So he coerced "one million" people. Mind you this was when boko had not turned violent! During Yusuf era, all he did was preach against the dangers of western education and how it tarnished the society. What he did mostly was indulge in debates with other clerics on the issue. Which most of the time if not all, he was beaten hands down. It was only after his death that the group turned to violence. And that "one million" figure is outrageous! |
Hoover dam which is one of the largest dams in d world was constructed in the early 1930s, it took less than 5 years to construct and commission. And has the capacity to produce 2000+MW. This was in 1935!!!!!! In 2014 and 6 years in office, 40MW is what we are celebrating? |
wonder how this is not on FP yet! Seun u need to step up |
chinziaski:didn't he say they shouldn't have cancelled the movie showing in theaters? Is that not support? Abegi!!! |
American is a stupeed country! I mean, why make a move about assassinating the president of another country? Using his real name and the real name of the country? I mean on his own soil? Is there any greater insult than this? Imagine, a movie made about killing obama and ridiculing him to the whole world!? Why is is when they make movies about American presidents they never use their real names? And at the end of the day, the president always is some sort of a hero, kills the bad guys and never dies even with all the odds stacked against him! I can name 20 movies at d top of my head about American presidents attached but the manage to kill the bad guys and lived! And for the fact that obama was behind Sony is just disgusting. Hypocracy at its highest. The are bullies and nothin more! |
warrenweste:Thanks man. |
ebamma:Thanks bro. I tell you. I was shocked! |
This is to warn my nairaland peeps, seems this season as Christmas is drawing closer people are very desperate and will do anything to lay their hands on some money, whether legal or illegal. Here's what happened to me today, I headed to town to go get my drivers licence done, considering my old one will expire in a few days time. Anyways, I was low on fuel and decided to stop at a filling station to top up. While at the station there was a cue and a lot of hustler with keg. So I waited patiently for my turn. When there was just 2 cars before my turn, this guy came out of nowhere and was doing this traffic control. He was so interested in clearing space for "ME" to buy. I thought to myself, why is this guy taking panadol for other people's headache na, I looked back to see if he had a car but it didn't seem so. So I just shrugged it off, I was like watin concern me. When it got to my turn, I picked 3.5k from d bunch I had and left the remaining 17k (for licence) in the compartment below the handle u hold-on to close the car from inside. I came down and went to open the tank door for the attendant, while i was at this the guy went through the other side and opended the passenger door reached over and picked the money. The car is a mini van and has tinted glass, the end was noisy from all the hustlers and horns and all. I only realised when i had driven some few meters, the door light was on. This is to warn my various nairaland people, you guys should be on alert, people are desperate. How he knew I had money, it still beats me. Seasons greetings. |
malele:did you really ask that question? America, Britain and the likes are the most hated countries and the places terrorist will like to make a score! Now. How often do you hear this guys kill and kidnap citizens of this countries on their soil? it's about being proactive and not blaming your inability and mediocre performance on others and ur opposition. |
Hello all. Been a while. Bn bzy. Here's what I did today but haven't finishd doe.
|
Man no man things.. happy for you. Wish you the best. |
This guys is a disgrace I tell you! I almost bought the form for that scholarship some months back, but when i did the permutations I just didn't bother. Only to find out that they took them to Uganda and I just laughed for like 2 days straight! The annoying part is that it was the family and relatives of the top shots in the state that was selected. Anyways, based on achievement he's at zero! I was having a discussion with one of his supporters and he told me his achievements were security and he made roads! |
