An Abuja prophet who is the general overseer of Champions Royal Assembly located in Byazhin, Kubwa, near Abuja Prophet Joshua Iginla has again predicted that a more devastating bomb will soon explode in Abuja. He told members of his church, yesterday during a crowded anointing church service that God revealed to him that the Boko Haram sect had completed arrangement to detonate another bomb in the federal capital. Said he “I saw confusion, I saw a very big blast happen in Abuja, I saw cars being burnt, I saw the belly of a man split open.” He continued: “What I saw is more devastating and disastrous than what had happened before.” Prophet Iginla told members of his church that he is troubled after God showed him what is about to happen in Abuja. Prophet Iginla is known to have correctly predicted many incidents all over the world including bomb blasts in the country. He revealed that some of the sponsors of this sect are in government. According to him, the issue of Boko Haram will take a long time before it can be eradicated in the country. He enjoined members of his church and all Nigerians to pray so that this particular bomb blast would be averted. It would be recalled that Prophet Iginla foresaw the bomb blast at the Force Headquarters, the United Nations bomb blast and the bomb blast at the church in Suleja. http://www.sunnewsonline.com/webpages/news/national/2011/oct/10/national-10-10-2011-005.html |

I believe that Nigerians know the problem, but we do not have the courage to face it. |
AS security services struggle to combat budding terrorism, a fresh alarm has been raised about the inflow of sophisticated arms of various types into northern Nigerian cities from the vast northern borders of the country with Niger and Chad. Nigerian Tribune was told that arms and ammunition taken by loyalists of ousted Libyan president, Moammar Gaddafi, from Libya to the Agadez region of Niger Republic are finding their way into northern Nigeria, even as fresh reports indicated that hard core Boko Haram members are now hibernating in northwestern cities after escaping counter-terrorism onslaughts from the northeastern part of the country. Previous reports had shown that Nigerians who served as mercenaries in the Libyan army were flocking into the country through the country’s northern borders, even as speculations are rife about the involvement of the former Libyan strongman who had earlier advocated a division of Nigeria into three, in the Islamic insurgency led by Boko Haram sect. A retired senior security officer told the Nigerian Tribune that the nation had about 480 irregular border crossings in its 4,500-kilometre borders with Niger and Chad Republics while the official border manned by Nigerian officials are 12. “These illegal crossings are witnessing inflow of arms and nobody is checking, nobody is trying to control this dangerous phenomenon. The arms are highly sophisticated going by the advanced nature of Gaddafi armoury,” the source said. Affirming that the nation’s northern borders have not been demarcated nor properly policed 51 years after independence, the ex-security officer noted that “on a daily basis since the defeat of Gaddafi, northern borders are witnessing strange movements, not just of men, but of arms and this is beyond the control of police, immigration and customs service. “Have you ever heard of any arms seizure in the northern zones? Go to Ngala, go to all those remote areas in the North, go to areas south of Gimbiya, Ilela and others, you will see ungoverned territories with criminal gangs dealing in arms and ammunition,” the source said. Nigerian Tribune further investigations revealed that the promised military patrol of the northern borders to stop the influx of arms and mercenaries has not taken off, even as the existing military patrol in the Chad Basin is alleged to have become compromised and incapable of controlling the growing mercenary and criminal activities in the Chad Basin. Citing a report by our sister paper about extremists and northern porous borders, the source explained that “since that report three weeks ago, no high-level visitation and action have been taken,” adding “the new trend is Gaddafi’s ammunition flowing into the country.” Meanwhile, Islamic insurgents may be feeling the heat in the northeastern part of the country, as fresh reports indicated that the north-western cities of Kano, Sokoto, Gusau, Kaduna and Katsina are now witnessing the inflow of internally displaced persons from northeastern states. “These so-called internally displaced persons may include many members of the Boko Haram, who may be fleeing the counter offensive of the securitymen in the North-East. That is why there is a renewed interest of security agencies in these ‘refugees,’ a security source told our correspondent. Contrary to earlier reports that the Boko Haram members fled to the South after operations in the North-East, members of the sect are reportedly finding solace in the North-West, a situation said to have heightened security screening and checks, especially in Kano. “The North-East is now very hot for the sect. The Kano command of the intelligence service has done a good job of containing the extremists based on immediate actions on actionable intelligence on movements of these sect members from the crisis zone to the North-West,” a very dependable security source told the Nigerian Tribune. |
KANO, Nigeria - Gunmen carrying machetes attacked a village in northwest Nigeria early Sunday morning, going house to house posing as visitors before shooting and slashing 19 people to death, witnesses and police said. The attack happened in Lingyado village in Zamfara state, a rural region of pasturelands approaching Nigeria's border with Niger. About 150 attackers surrounded the village and roamed between its compounds, shooting residents who came out to greet them, elder Husaini Dansadau told The Associated Press. Those who could fled into nearby cornfields when the shooting began. Some of the gunmen shouted that they'd rape the women they found, said witness Ahmad Tsauri Lingyado, who uses the village's name as his last name as is custom in Nigeria's north. The attackers used Kalashnikov rifles and machetes in the attack, witnesses said. They stole money and valuables from the simple homes before fleeing into the darkness. At least 19 people died in the assault, Zamfara state police spokesman Sunusi Amiru said. Seven others were wounded, including women and children. Amiru said police now guard the village. A detachment of soldiers from a nearby base also entered the area Sunday, where the occasional gunshot still could be heard, witnesses said. It appeared the attack was a reprisal for another village attack in August, Amiru said. Witnesses said the attackers appeared to be cattle herders from the Hausa Fulani ethnic group, which dominates Nigeria's Muslim north. Lingyado is a village of Hausa Fulani settlers. Communal violence regularly occurs in Nigeria, an oil-rich nation of 150 million people. Typically, the violence cuts across different ethnic or religious groups, though it finds its base in economic or political strife. Authorities rarely can stop the attacks, as they occur deep in the countryside, far from the limited protection Nigeria's weak central government can provide. http://www.globalnews.ca/canada/world/gunmen+armed+with+machetes+kill+19+in+communal+clash+in+village+in+northwest+nigeria/6442493416/story.html |

Guys cool doWn. GEJ admits that without the help of God he can't rule Nigeria. He admits that his assignment was God ordained and with God, he will deliver. Just like David that did not look like it, God will give him the head of the Goliath of this country. God does not look at the outside. God uses the foolish to confound the wise. It is not everyone that has the ability to understand the presidents statement.but I can tell you that is a humble and yet Bold statement. |
El-rufai is saying the facts with the wrong motive. My people you see, in Nigerian Politics today, motive is everything. |

I watched it. I am proud of my president. And for thenfirst time in a long while, I think we now have a sound president with a clear vision and sound understanding of where is is going and what he is doing. I love his plans for making agric a business venture.I love the synergy he has put in place for power and petroleum ministries.I love his understanding of the Nigerian politician.I love his transportation plans as regards the railway. I believed him when he said we shall soon export rice and cement. Guys let's give this man a chance. He is not in any way part of the old. He is of the new breed that we have longed for. |
The plan is to make the country Ungovernable for mr Jonah. We know it. |
It's like the wish of the masterminds of book haram is being granted. Jonathan is being forced to negotiate with them. If he invites Gusau, he is simply saying that he and his security team are incompetent to handle the situation.it also goes to say that he is not fit to rule Nigeria. |
The CAN president is just being bold to say what most people know as truth but are being diplomatic about. This whole thing is about Jonathan. |
A true muslim will go any length to defend the religion of Allah, and that is what the sultan is doing. |
