A mother who bound her 11-year-old son’s wrists before putting him in a car and setting it on fire has been jailed for just two years and five months. Sherri Richter, 48, was handed the minimum sentence on Thursday for the bizarre crime which she committed at a cemetery in Frenchtown Township, Michigan, USA, last June. It saw her tie the unnamed boy up, before setting a fire in the Ford Focus’ trunk alight. Unhappy with the size of the blaze that generated, Sherri then moved on to pouring gasoline in the car’s passenger compartment, where her terrified son sat – only to change her mind and save him moments later. Monroe County sheriff’s officials said after: “This fire did not ignite while the boy struggled to free himself from the vehicle. “The mother then freed the boy from the vehicle and they walked away until locating an employee from the cemetery.” It was the employee who freed Richter’s son from his bindings. Richter later pleaded no contest to second-degree child abuse after ‘an assault with intent to murder charge’ was dropped. Her short sentence came after her defense highlighted how she had already spent 12 months in jail, and said a longer sentence would not help her son. She made a groveling apology in court after, saying: “I’m sorry to my son … and family, that I love very much.” But that cut little ice with sentencing Judge Michael Weipert, who said: “We have a mother who did the unthinkable, committed a horrendous act of violence against her own son in an attempt to take his life. “I cannot imagine the terror that that poor boy felt to know that his own mother was doing this to him.” Bizarrely, Sherri’s husband made a plea to the court to consider reuniting the mother with her son after she is released from jail. Judge Weipert slammed his request, saying: “He should never be left alone with her. Dad’s obligation now is to protect his son.” village people at work here http://xmoentertainment..com/2018/06/woman-binds-her-son-puts-him-in-car-and.html

Femal Why are some people so cruel and wicked to their fellow humans? The guys who did this are just heartless, to say the least. As you read this, doctors are battling to save the life of a female member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) doing her one-year mandatory service. She's serving in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State. The corps member was reportedly assaulted and r*ped by a 15-man gang of robbers. The robbers invaded the ‘Corpers Lodge’ at Yenizue Gene, a suburb of Yenagoa, about 3a.m. yesterday. It was learnt that the armed robbers overpowered the neighborhood vigilantes who are usually armed with only sticks and machetes. Emboldened, the hoodlums reportedly went to the NYSC Corpers Lodge where they forcibly took away a female corps member. According to a resident of the community, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, the lady was repeatedly r*ped by the hoodlums who took her in turns. She was later taken to the hospital for treatment. Sources say though the police were alerted, there was little they could do because the area had been thrown into darkness due to power outage. A vigilante, who gave his name simply as Tonye, said the security men were afraid of running into an ambush. For now indigenes of Yenizue Gene, who have been complacent over the issue of security, are contemplating forming a vigilance group to tackle crime in their community. When contacted, the state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Asinim Butswat told New Telegraph that he had not got a clear information about the incident. https://xmoentertainment..com/2018/06/female-corper-rped-by-15-armed-men-in.html

A 17-year-old girl has been gang-raped and killed in Ogwugwu village, Oba, in the Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State. The deceased, who just finished her West African Senior School Certificate Examination, was said to have been attacked and raped by six young men while on her way to buy garri for dinner around 7pm on Wednesday. A source said that the suspects believed to be known to the victim had lured her to an uncompleted one-storeyed building where she was raped and killed. The source said, “The boys lured her to an uncompleted building, where they took turn to rape her until she became weak. They threw her down from the storey building so that she would not expose them.” He added that the girl’s corpse had been deposited in a morgue. The Divisional Police Officer in charge of Ojoto Police Division, Prince Ezejiofor, confirmed the incident, saying no arrest had been made. The DPO said, “They perpetrated the act about 7pm, but we are closing in on the suspects.” Reacting to the incident, the President General of Aboji Akanano Union, Oba, Dozie Nweke, described the murder as wicked. more news at http://xmoentertainment..com/2018/06/sadgirl-gang-raped-to-death-in-anambra.html

Just because of five minutes enjoyment, he lost his appointment and respects. A lecturer at the Department of English, University of Ilorin, Dr Mohammed Idiagbon, has been removed as head of the department for engaging in 'sexual things' with a student of the institution. It is gradually becoming a trend for the fans of Nigerian celebrities to beg them for money to either pay school fees of start up a small scale business. Many times, the celebrities succumb and help out. Weeks ago, Davido supported a fan with N50,000, Kcee gave N85,000 to yet another fan who begged him to pay her school fees. Then Funke Akindele bought Tricycle (Keke Napep) for another twitter user. However, singer Brymo is not as charitable as others; to him, nothing good comes so easy. It all started when a Twitter user sent him a heartfelt note. “Please sir, kindly help me with anything you have. I need to pay for my tuition fee which is 65,000,” the fan said. “Please shower mercy on me.” And Brymo did shower him with more than mercy; he asked the fan to drop out of school and go pursue he dreams. “It’s what I did,” Brymo added. And this has sparked a debate about how young Nigerians are quick to hop on celebrities pages, asking for money. While some people applauded the ‘Klitoris’ singer for not playing Father Christmas, others felt he was damn too harsh. see full screenshot of fans response http://xmoentertainment..com/2016/06/photos-nigerians-react-to-brymo-advise.html

I'm short of words...don't even know what to say about this girl's story... Following the death of 14-year-old Amina Ibrahim, after reacting to a combination of drugs that she took, Punch's Motunrayo Joel writes about the dangers of self-prescription and Stevens-Johnson syndrome, the rare but dangerous medical condition that it can trigger. Amina Ibrahim’s mother, Maryam, rushed to her daughter’s bedside, knelt down and began to pray loudly in Hausa, hot tears running down her face soaking her black hijab. Her wailing rang out loud and clear filling the air within Mohammed Abdullahi Wase Specialist Hospital in Kano State. “I hoped that my baby will survive. She cannot die; she will be healed. You cannot die; we will all go home together,” she cried. Sadly, Amina didn’t rise up to pacify her. 14-year-old Amina died. “Your death could have been avoided. What did I do wrong, why did my daughter have to die? My Amina, I refuse to believe you are gone,” she cried. As she cried, her husband, Bala Ibrahim, looked on. His vacant eyes staring into space. Bala held his daughter’s hand. He could not touch her face or hug her in death. Stevens-Johnson syndrome, the medical condition that Amina succumbed to, had left her face and body terribly disfigured. As tears rolled down Maryam’s eyes and her hijab got even more wet, the doctors and other hospital workers who struggled to save the fourteen-year-old’s life moved in to console her. Shortly after she started wailing, the Accident and Emergency ward of the hospital began to fill up with people who heard her and came to console her. Within a short while, the entire ward was a cacophony of noise and screams. Stevens-Johnson syndrome is a life-threatening skin condition that disfigures the body before finishing off its victim. Mayoclinic.org, the website of foremost US medical group, Mayo Clinic, describes Stevens-Johnson syndrome as a “rare, serious disorder of skin and mucous membranes” that is usually “a reaction to a medication or an infection.” It says, “Often, Stevens-Johnson syndrome begins with flu-like symptoms, followed by a painful red or purplish rash that spreads and blisters. Then the top layer of the affected skin dies and sheds.” Maryam told our correspondent that her daughter’s health problems started when she started reacting to the drugs she bought from a local drug dispenser in their neighbourhood. These drug dispensers are called ‘chemists’ across Nigeria. Punch learnt that Amina, who resided with her parents in Dala Local Government Area of Kano State, developed body pains after taking the drugs. Maryam said, “I wish I had told Amina not to go to that particular chemist. But how could I have known that she embarked on a trip to her death? My children and I usually patronise the chemist. We do not have money. I am a housewife while my husband is an electrician. We feed on the little money my husband makes on a daily basis. I have five children; we cannot afford to be visiting a hospital every time we are ill. My daughter complained of cold and cough which made her visit the chemist to get some medications. “On May 26, Amina and her younger brother went to the chemist near where we live in Dala council area. She told the chemist what was wrong with her. I later learned that it was the chemist’s son who was on duty that day. The boy is about 19 years old.” Mrs. Ibrahim, who spoke through a female interpreter, added that the boy prescribed an antibiotic, Septrin, to Amina, claiming that it would relieve her of her discomfort. According to her, later in the evening of that day, Amina took the drug (septrin) and within an hour, her lips and tongue got swollen and her eyes became red. “The pain was unbearable for her. We did not know what to do. I had to check the expiry date on the drug sachet to be sure it had not expired. But I could not find any date, ’’ she stated wiping tears with her palms. She further said Amina returned to the chemist the next day to complain of her reaction to the drug. ‘‘I followed her to the chemist and we met him in his shop. He said Amina was developing symptoms of chicken pox and that she would need to be placed on injection and other drugs to fight the ailment. We heeded his advice, believing he was an expert in health matters,” her mother said. She told our correspondent that the chemist gave her daughter a combination of drugs which included paracetamol, ciproxin, puriton, ciprotob and blood tonic to treat the chicken pox which he claimed Amina had. “Immediately she completed her injection doses, things got out of hand. My beautiful daughter changed into someone I could not recognise. Her face turned black as if she got burnt. Her health also deteriorated daily,” she said. Throughout his narration, Amina’s father, was lost in thought. Once in a while, a solitary teardrop would travel from one of his eyes, down his face and on to his cheeks. He did not wipe these tears. He just stared into full story here http://xmoentertainment..com/2016/06/how-nigerian-girl-amina-died-of-stevens.html space.

President Buhari is celebrating his first year in office today May 29th. He addressed the nation this morning. Read full text of his speech below My compatriots, It is one year today since our administration came into office. It has been a year of triumph, consolidation, pains and achievements. By age, instinct and experience, my preference is to look forward, to prepare for the challenges that lie ahead and rededicate the administration to the task of fixing Nigeria. But i believe we can also learn from the obstacles we have overcome and the progress we made thus far, to help strengthen the plans that we have in place to put nigeria back on the path of progress. We affirm our belief in democracy as the form of government that best assures the active participation and actual benefit of the people. Despite the many years of hardship and disappointment the people of this nation have proved inherently good, industrious tolerant, patient and generous. The past years have witnessed huge flows of oil revenues. From 2010 average oil prices were $100 per barrel. But economic and security conditions were deteriorating. We campaigned and won the election on the platform of restoring security, tackling corruption and restructuring the economy. On our arrival, the oil price had collapsed to as low as $30 per barrel and we found nothing had been kept for the rainy day. Oil prices have been declining since 2014 but due to the neglect of the past, the country was not equipped to halt the economy from declining. The infrastructure, notably rail, power, roads were in a decrepit state. All the four refineries were in a state of disrepair, the pipelines and depots neglected. Huge debts owed to contractors and suppliers had accumulated. Twenty-seven states could not pay salaries for months. In the north-east, boko haram had captured 14 local governments, driven the local authorities out, hoisted their flags. Elsewhere, insecurity was palpable; corruption and impunity were the order of the day. In short, we inherited a state near collapse. On the economic front, all oil dependent countries, nigeria included, have been struggling since the drop in prices. Many oil rich states have had to take tough decisions similar to what we are doing. The world, nigeria included has been dealing with the effects of three significant and simultaneous global shocks starting in 2014: a 70% drop in oil prices. Global growth slowdown. Normalization of monetary policy by the united states federal reserve. Our problems as a government are like that of a farmer who in a good season harvests ten bags of produce. The proceeds enable him to get by for rest of the year. However, this year he could only manage 3 bags from his farm. He must now think of other ways to make ends meet. From day one, we purposely set out to correct our condition, to change nigeria. We reinforced and galvanized our armed forces with new leadership and resources. We marshaled our neighbours in a joint task force to tackle and defeat boko haram. By the end of december 2015, all but pockets and remnants had been routed by our gallant armed forces. Our immediate focus is for a gradual and safe return of internally displaced persons in safety and dignity and for the resumption of normalcy in the lives of people living in these areas. Efcc was given the freedom to pursue corrupt officials and the judiciary was alerted on what nigerians expect of them in the fight against corruption. On the economy, in particular foreign exchange and fuel shortages, our plan is to save foreign exchange by fast tracking repair of the refineries and producing most of our fuel requirements at home. And by growing more food in nigeria, mainly rice, wheat and sugar we will save billions of dollars in foreign exchange and drastically reduce our food import bill. We resolved to keep the naira steady, as in the past, devaluation had done dreadful harm to the nigerian economy. Furthermore, i support the monetary authority’s decision to ensure alignment between monetary policy and fiscal policy. We shall keep a close look on how the recent measures affect the naira and the economy. But we cannot get away from the fact that a strong currency is predicated on a strong economy. And a strong economy pre-supposes an industrial productive base and a steady export market. The measures we must take, may lead to hardships. The problems nigerians have faced over the last year have been many and varied. But the real challenge for this government has been reconstructing the spine of the nigerian state. The last twelve months have been spent collaborating with all arms of government torevive our institutions so that they are more efficient and fit for purpose: that means a bureaucracy better able to develop and deliver policy that means an independent judiciary, above suspicion and able to defend citizen’s rights and dispense justice equitably. That means a legislature that actually legislates effectively and above all; that means political parties and politicians committed to serving the nigerian people rather than themselves. These are the pillars of the state on which democracy can take root and thrive. But only if they are strong and incorruptible. Accordingly, we are working very hard to introduce some vital structural reforms in the way we conduct government business and lay a solid foundation on which we can build enduring change. An important first step has been to get our housekeeping right. So we have reduced the extravagant spending of the past. We started boldly with the treasury single account, stopping the leakages in public expenditure. We then identified forty-three thousand ghost workers through the integrated payroll and personal information system. That represents pay packets totaling n4.2 billion stolen every month. In addition, we will save twenty-three billion per annum from official travelling and sitting allowances alone. Furthermore, the efficiency unit will cut costs and eliminate duplications in ministries and departments. Every little saving helps. The reduction in the number of ministries and work on restructuring and rationalization of the mdas is well underway. When this work is complete we will have a leaner, more efficient public service that is fit for the purpose of changing nigeria for the good and for good. the full message here

Hello, please I don’t want my personal details published. What I am about to narrate is true life although it may see like fiction especially to those who don’t believe that such exist. There is this lady who had been giving me green light in my lodge for a long time but I chose to ignore it because I didn't have money to sponsor any babe (our alowee then was still N9,700), but on the day of our POP, Feb 17 (I will never forget that day) I let my guard down. In the evening of that day, we threw a small party click below to continue reading http://xmoentertainment..com.ng/2015/11/truelife-story-how-i-fell-into-trap-of.html click here to register with bet 9ja https://register.bet9ja.com?promocode=ojo633
