commercial motorcyclists, bus drivers and conductors, as
well as local market men and women, who can be easily
deceived by the station’s falsehoods. If the station is not

Recently in Nnewi, I was in a commercial bus and the conductor was
exchanging words with a passenger who had complained that the bus was
over speeding. The angry passenger warned the driver that her family
would not spare him if she gets injured. In response, the conductor
started barking at the young lady and warned her never to expect any help
from the zoo legal institutions. Curious, I asked the conductor what he
meant by ‘zoo institutions’ and he advised me to tune in to Radio Biafra
102.1 FM at night. Before then, I had heard about the pirate radio station
but didn’t know it has commenced transmission on the frequency
modulated band. That night, I decided to tune in to the station, and
immediately I hit the frequency, I heard the presenter, who addresses
himself as Nnamdi Kanu (also, Director), shouting on a caller for
addressing Buhari as Nigeria’s president. “Stupid black monkey and
baboon, will you end this call if you don’t recognise Buhari as a
pedophile, a child rapist and terrorist president of the zoo.” Instantly I
recalled my conversation with the bus conductor and understood that the
zoo he was talking about is Nigeria, an evil slang he must have picked up
from the pirate station presenter, Nnamdi Kanu.
The recent protest of market men and women in Onitsha
over the alleged transfer of Boko Haram prisoners to
Anambra State was catalysed by a broadcast of the
pirate station a day before the protest, in which it
alleged that President Buhari has ordered the massive
transfer of detained Boko Haram fighters to Anambra
State to kill many Igbos.
Another thing I observed on that first day of listening to the station was
the overwhelming quantity of falsehoods it propagates. Some of the
falsehoods include the continuous aerial bombing of Igbos in Calabar by
forces of the Nigerian government and the ordering of joint security
forces in Chad to kill Igbos by President Muhammadu Buhari, after his
visit to the country.
Subsequent listening to the station revealed it as having agents who
regularly call during its live interactive programmes to disseminate false
stories. It is really sad that some misinformed people take the falsehoods
of the pirate radio station seriously. The recent protest of market men and

It is no longer news that Igbos are mostly international business men and
women, so a person like Nnamdi Kanu and Radio Biafra advocating for
the destruction of Igbo property abroad and the relocation of all Igbos to
Igbo land in this era of a global village must be confused. If Nnamdi
Kanu believes that no one can make it and prosper outside Igbo land,
what is he doing in London? Why can’t he come back to his home state,
Abia to ‘progress’? It is unfortunate that some misinformed Igbos are
even donating money to him. What a fraud! It is quite clear that the
fraudster is fast exploiting misinformed fellows to his benefit. It is even
funny that he has disowned all Igbo socio-cultural organisations and
appointed himself commander-in-chief. The manner at which he abuses
fellow Igbos and blacks, who he regularly calls “black monkeys and
baboons”, show that he is nothing other than a racist; if other leaders
abuse their followers in such manner, then what sort of leadership will
that be?
Igbos should note that Nigeria has come to stay, so
instead of wasting their time and energy in a wild goose
dream of secession, they should support other
nationalities and groups in building a stronger, more
united and better Nigeria.
The federal government and the international community should note that
the pirate Radio Biafra is a pending disaster and if urgent measures are
not taken to end its activities, it can metamorphose into the media wing
of a terrorising group sharing an ideology of hatred and bloodshed with
the Islamic State (IS).
Igbos should note that Nigeria has come to stay, so instead of wasting
their time and energy in a wild goose dream of secession, they should
support other nationalities and groups in building a stronger, more united
and better Nigeria. The federal government and the international
community should also make necessary efforts to track down, arrest and
prosecute the director of the pirate radio station, Nnamdi Kanu, for
inciting violence, bloodshed and attempting a crime against humanity.

I have stated it here over and again that no right thinking igbo man is supporting this recent madness by a confirmed con artist, Nnamdi kanu.

Nnamdi kanu has turned the heroic deeds of our father's past into mockery and has made biafra a laughing stock.

I keep pointing out to people that Nnamdi kanu is all talk and Nothing else.

Before now, he has bragged to the high heavens that the 'zoo' cannot stop him. clamming he is unjammable. Now that that zoo has finally jammed him, he has also resorted to claiming conspiracy and cooking up another tale about How isreal betrayed him. And yet some people still believe him?

I know most supporters of Nnamdi kanu are merely disgruntled PDP supporters that just found a way to vent their frustrations, But should that be at the expense of a legitimate struggle?

Radio Biafra is a couldron of lies and I am glad that NBC has finally awoken to their responsilities. We the igbos would fight and negotiate for a better deal in Nigeria, But not with the rascalic approach as preached by the defunct radio. we are too learned for that.

Don't you know that the east will be the most hit region (Biafra) if Nigeria breaks up?It would have been the South south but they can manage if they all stick together and export their oil which is difficult due to fluctuation in oil prices and do note that their development would be like a snail traveling from Nigeria to China by land and what will happen to them and the east after 15 to 20 years of being separate countries? They simply look like south Korea while the west looks like Dubai and the north like Algeria. Think first before you make a wrong move as once you've out you can come back and your hatred will definitely deny you trade with the South West and the North due to them both trading with one another and also with other countries of the world. Though you can trade with the outside world but who will buy your goods when that of China which is cheaper than any product from any other country is easily available every where.

I believe you are the most ignorant person in the whole world from the creation of the universe till date, I have spent time in relatively every part of Nigeria and I can say that if Nigeria breaks up the Igbo's will suffer more than all the other tribes; you make most of your money from the south west which is then followed by the north, you best bet is trade as you mostly sell homogenous/ same items but who will buy in your Biafra when almost all of you sell the same thing to each other? The North is into mechanized farming while you are not! You have very little oil while the south south have about 65%, south west 30% and south east 5%, how will you cope? Importation or invading the south south? What about access to the sea? The South West and the south south have large access to the sea through which they can trade in large quantities but you are almost totally land locked, you will fight not less that 2 civil wars amongst yourselves and border wars with every country that have borders with you here making you loss men and lots of territories to the North and the west but gaining from the South south as they may not be able to hold their own against Biafra as the North/West would not have anything to do with them since they are filled with hatred for the north and the west just like the east, please not that Cameroon will also seize your lands and harass your country time after time as you will be left alone to defend yourself that is if you have a border with Cameroon. The truth is hard to swallow but its good to analyze things not always letting ethnic sentiments becloud some people.

I don't give a flying ffvck about Biafra. My own is that all your chest-beating and threats of violence should be limited to the SE. In fact, any Yoruba man foolish enough to live in the SE shythole right now deserves whatever is coming to him. But be assured that for every Yoruba life/blood spilled on igbo soil, a truckload of igbos will be slaughtered in retaliation here in the SW -- I will personally see to that, unless there are no Igbos remaining in Lagos in such an eventuality.
