Tyga purchases a brand new Maybach 62 S Landaulet.

Just days after being spotted in the studio with Kanye West, Tyga decided to treat himself to a late birthday gift. The "Rack City" rapper went ahead and bought a brand new one of a kind Maybach.

According to my sources, T-Raww spent $2.2 million on a 2014 convertible Maybach 62 S Landaulet. Apparently the car itself coast $1.3 million and he spent nearly a million more tricking it out with luxuries including white leather interior decked out with his Last Kings logo and a 40-inch TV. Of all the emcees that rap about (and glamorize) gun violence, very few of them are actually about that life, but that doesn't mean they don't get caught up in it from time to time. We've compiled a list of 15 rappers that have been fired on and lived to tell the tale. Some cases may be more severe than others, but whether you take one bullet or several, survival isn't guaranteed. We've lost more than one legend since hip-hop's inception.

Before we continue, we'd like to say rest in peace to 2Pac, The Notorious B.I.G., Big L, Freaky Tah, Jam Master Jay, Soulja Slim, Charizma, Proof, Fat Pat, Lil Phat, Slim Dunkin, Lil Snupe and any other artist that has passed away as a result of gun violence.

The Game

On October 1, 2001 while at the apartment alone, Game heard a knock on the door at 2 a.m. Wanting to make a late night sale, he opened the door to see a regular customer. His regular however brought two others with him.
He and another man fought. Reaching for his pistol, he was shot execution style by one of the assailants five times. After laying still for several minutes, Game used his cell phone and called the ambulance. Effected by his wounds, he went into a three-day coma as a result

On October 23, 2005, Cam'ron was leaving a nightclub in Washington D.C., having performed the day before at Howard University.
Whilst and stopped at a traffic light at the intersection of New York and New Jersey Avenue shortly after midnight, a passenger of a nearby car threatened Cam'ron to "give up" his 2006 Lamborghini.
Cam'ron resisted, and the man then shot him. Cam'ron was struck at least once as he was holding the steering wheel, but he was able to drive, going the wrong way on streets and flashing his lights, until a fan drove him to Howard University Hospital.

Obie Trice

On December 31, 2005, Trice was shot twice while driving on the Lodge Expressway by Wyoming Avenue in Detroit.
One of the bullets entered his head. Trice was able to drive off the expressway, where his girlfriend waved down the police. He was taken to Providence Hospital and released later that day.
Doctors are still contemplating whether or not to remove the bullet, as it may be too dangerous to operate.

When he was 15 in 1986, he was shot during a robbery and was partially paralyzed for nine months. He was doing work as a DJ, and held a series of menial jobs, including washing dishes at a Red Lobster, where he was constantly bumping heads with a local thug.
One night, Tim's tormentor wandered into the kitchen as he was punching the clock to leave. “I got somethin' for ya,” the guy said. “Oh yeah?” Tim retorted.
“What you got?” His nemesis then pumped off a gunshot from a weapon hidden inside a bag; the bullet passed through Tim's neck and lodged in his right shoulder. (fragments remain to this day)

At the age of 16, he was shot in the stomach and the back and required almost a year to recover.

Fabolous was shot in his right leg on the morning of October 17, 2006 in Manhattan after exiting Justin's, a restaurant owned by Diddy.
The police saw the rapper and three other men accompanying him rushing through a red light and found unlicensed, loaded guns in their car leading to their arrest. After they found the weapons, Fabolous was treated at a local hospital.
