It is good that you are concerned about your dad. Unfortunately, this concern is misplaced. My advice - look for the video documentary titled "God Plant" watch it and be educated. I wish you all the best.

Bought it for my wife at N16,500 @ DSCL computer village. The phone is as good as they say. Just that the available rom is lower than what I would have liked. Good buy.

I figure it was. Its boot animation include the 3 network logo. Didn't realise the Int'l versions could still b carrier/region based. Pls any help as per resolving this? Does this mean I may be having this problem anytime I flash a new rom?

@extonimarie, are you running a custom rom? if so. which one? for you to be experiencing that loop during boot means you will have to odin back to stock rom. then you can flash back whatever rom you were runnning before the problem. this as happened to me before while flashing a non compatable boot animation and that was how i solved it. once you can get into download mode with the 3 button combo, u aint got nothing to fear.

@belushi, im kinda new to android and dont know much about this rom thing. ive taken the phn to someone to fix it. hope i can call u to help me if he doesnt succeed. im mighty glad that this is something easily resolvable tho. thnx a bunsssh .

I need help!
I was tryn to charge my SGS after the battery went flat while making a call and it refused to boot. It shows the Make and model screen and then the SGS animation screen then the screen goes blank while the phone is still on. It vibrates intermittently, like its tryn to boot but cant. Any help will be appreciated. tnx.

the PS1 emulator is straight forward, no problems at all. it even plays tha prtd oshodi cds! the PS2 emu is givin me probs, the best ive gotten is having it tell me "iso read block" anytime i try to run a cd. what im i eaving undone?! can anybody help pls me?
