I have been living in London for over 6years but never been to this Nigerian restaurant.

Cut long story short, we sha entered, got seated, made our orders and just silently chatted away while we stylishly observed around while Nigerians in there made noise and nodded to the tune of Burna playing in the background.

Then something caught my attention, a lady in puffer jacket (sign that showed she came with public transport) sat beside a guy (assumably her BF) but consistently stared in our direction. I jerked my friend and he also noticed.

Ok, no time to check time. Amala sha came and we started eating with poise while checking our phones and still catching some glimpse of the 'open admirer'. As we were going to order take away, her assumed BF stood up to go to the restroom and alas, she stood up, came to my seat and dropped a piece of paper.

I quickly hid it beside the glass of water in my front and watched her waltz back to her seat casually while I used the opportunity to also assess her backside (shey omo yi le gba doggy bi Bolanle Peckham).

We paid and left for our usual lounge in Old Kent road to step down the amala with some cold lager and that was when I had the chance to check the note and it read, 'U LOOK SO CUTE, CALL ME 07458******* (Mide).

Having framed empathy (with plenty eiyahs like Nigerians like to hear), I told her to follow me to finish the conversation and also drop her off.

Now this is just one of numerous stories I have experienced and heard in the last 2/3years especially with this post-pandemic JAPA crew.
Is it because most of them relocated as the 1st travel experience?
Is it because the weather is so cold people can't stay sexless?

That's rhe equivalent of predicting the result of an exam that is still ongoing.
