Job Description
 SnapCredit sales executives sell the companies' services to new customers; New customers include small, medium and large size businesses and government/ state owned organisations. Usually sales would go through HR heads, Finance heads or the MDs of the companies we are pitching to.
 As well as approaching potential customers with the aim of winning new business; sales executives are expected to work to maintain good relationships with existing clients, gaining repeat business wherever possible and managing recovery in case loan repayments are not paid on time
 Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
 Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.

The candidate will need to
 Have prior experience marketing and sourcing new clients for loan products is highly preferred.
 Maintain and develop new customers account, and liaison with internal order-processing staff.
 Develop long–term relationships with clients
 Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual reports
 Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, etc.
 Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

JOB REQUIREMENTS

MIN REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
 Minimum of 4 year(s) in banking, micro-finance or B2B sales with a leading company

How will some 1 ask for 35k is that reasonable considering relocation and other expenses involved? finca said they wont even assist with transport for the final interview sef. Na wa oh. No info on finca salary. I think they are still doing a survey to know how much to pay. They can atleast get an average from the interviews conducted so far. But meeeen if u wan go Imo u must earn well oh. Imo is not like lagos where u can easily get other opportunities. I trust Imo should do well though

For which position do you think the salary will be less than 100k? I definitely know the salary scale will be different for the positions they are recruiting for.

I guess no 1 had an interview for that position. Guess they are calling bit by bit.

Finca should be able to pay that high, its an international organization with good financial backing. How was your interview? Did they give youan idea of how much they want to pay?

sorry about the late reply. connection wahala. Thanks so much about the info. Yes i had an interview with them last week friday (18/01/13) for the position of a credit controller. I had a long talk with recruitment dude (an indian). We shook hands and he said he'll get back to me.

Now how long was it before you were made an offer? and apart from the health scheme (which is quite good) was there pension etc? do u av an idea of wat a credit controller earns there?

Its a new microfinance bank, located in ibadan. They started operations last year december. I think its a french microfinance bank. I dont know about their test questions though but its aint bad for fresh graduates. If your are employed, you'll be trained in credit analysis /risk etc.

I dont have an idea about their question but i guess it might be financial maths or stuffs pertaining to loans.

As their pay, i hear say DEM NO DEY PAY WELL SHA. Labour is kinda cheap in ibadan than in lagos. My friend got to the final stage of there interview last year (2012) but salary wahala didnt allow him take the job. I HEAR say they pay 45-50k per mont.

you'll be given a sheets of paper with 2 questions on each. you av to give 5 points to the questions asked.. i guess ur been called for a loan officer interview so the questions are gonna be about that and also why you wanna work with them etc.

Nope its not totally the same. Its not a bad job but its not what 1 can do for long. do it for a while and move on cuz its dem stressful

Not at all. Its not 100% marketing job. when u start out u'll source for clients but along the line you get referrals and stop doing marketing. the big microfinance banks in Nigeria don't pay on commission. u are placed on salary and also entitled to commission and bonuses etc.
