A Construction Firm wishes to use a group of fifty professionals to execute a project. These fifty are to be selected from 110 engineers. there are Y number of women in the firm and X number of men. The number of male engineers necessary to complete the project are 10100 to base two. If the firm consists of [(50!/49!)+(5²-√{225!/224!})] women, Calculate the value of... [(X²+Y³)25]/e10]+(65/{5×√4}²).

EducationRe: HARDEST MATHS Question Ever by XXX5(op): 11:21pm On Dec 20, 2014
Solution:
Upper limit of the set = 50
n + r = 50 + 5
n + r = 55
n = 55 - r
from St 2.
n × r = 750
but n = 55 - r
hence,
r(55 - r) = 750
r² - 55r + 750 = 0
r² - 30r - 25r + 750 = 0
r(r - 30) -25(r - 30) = 0
r = 30 Or 25.
but n + r = 55
for r = 25
n = 55 - 25 = 30.
for r = 30
n = 55 - 30 = 25.
but n + r > 50 by 5.
if r = 25 and n = 30
25 + 30 = 55 > 50 by 5.
and from the question, n > r.
so the right evaluation to be used is
r = 25 and n = 30.
Now, nPr
nPr = n!/(n - r)!
nPr = 30!/(30 - 25)!
nPr = 30!/5!

EducationRe: OAU 2014/2015 FRESHERS (newly Admitted Students) Meet Here by XXX5(m): 10:43pm On Dec 16, 2014
The Cumulative Grade Point Average
(CGPA) is a measuring scale of performance for
students.
Courses are assigned units depending on the
volume of work required to complete the course.
The minimum number of units per semester =15.
The maximum number of units per semester =24.
Each course is graded in unit 1-5.
A one(1) unit course means one hour of lecture OR
one hour of tutorial OR
2-4 hours of pratical per week throughout the
semester.
A three(3) unit course means 2 hours of lectures;
and 1 hour of tutorial per week.
Level of Performances:
A- ( 70-100% )
B- ( 60-69% )
C- ( 50-59% )
D- ( 45-49% )
E- ( 40-44% )
F- ( 00-39% )
Rating (Credit points per Unit)
A = 5
B = 4
C = 3
D = 2
E = 1
F = 0
Total Load Unit(TLU)-
This is the total number of course unit earned by a
student in each semester.
NB: TLU lies between 15 and 24.
To the calculations proper...
If in a course of 3 unit, someone makes a grade of
'A'. Dont forget, the Credit Unit of A is 5. Now, the
credit points of this particular course wil be the Unit
multiplied by the Credit Unit made. That is 3 * 5 =
15.
Digest that before we continue.
Another example:- In another course CSC 101 [b], a
5-unit course. Somebody made B at the end of the
semester for this course. Remember, B = 4. So the
credits points for CSC 101 in that sememter would
be 5 * 4 = 20.
This calculations applies to each and every course
a student sat for during each semester.
[b]NOTE: Special Electives(SE) does not reflect on
GPA/CGPA. Meaning...? you dont have to apply all
this calculations to SE.
I wanted to pause here but lets continue.
Please, if you understand or not. Just start from the
beginning. Its easy to know and simple!
I SAID, GO BACK!!!
Lets continue now.
GOD BLESS YOU
Now, the student wil add up all the Credit points of
each course that made up the semester.
That is 15 + 20 + 5 + 25 + 15 + 5 + 15.... so on and
so forth.
What do i mean by 25...? It means 'A' in a 5-unit
course.
After the additions, then it is called Total Credit
Point(TCP).
In the above example: 15+ 20+ 5+ 25+ 15+ 5+ 15=
100.
And in this, he did 2 5-unit courses; 1 4-unit
courses; 2 3-unit courses; 2 1-unit courses.
Hope you havent forgot the Total Load Unit(TLU)...?
[ /b]
So, we have it as 5 + 5 + 4 + 3 + 3 + 1 + 1 = 22.
[b]NB- This does not concerns the Grade this time
around. We only calculated here the units for each
courses. And NOT the Ratings.
Wait o o o o o
I strongly hope you havent forgotten how we arrive
at... =100. That is the Total Credit Point(TCP)
NOW, the Grade Point Average(GPA) for the
semester is Total Credit point(TCP) divided by Total
load Units(TLU)
SO, this student GPA was 100/22 = 4.54
In your calculator, i think it'l be 4.54545. But you
cant do your Rounding-off. Leave it as it is.
So, the G.P.A of the student is 4.54
Cummulative Grade Point Average(CGPA) is the
summation of all the semesters Total Credit Points
(TCP) divided by the summation of Total Load Units
(TLU) for the semesters.
So, if this same student makes the same Grades in
same Units in different courses now in his/her
second semester. But had one(1) more 1-unit
course and scored an 'A' in the course. So, the TCP
wil be 100+5= 105. The TLU=22+1= 23.
The student GPA for 2nd semester will be 105/23=
4.56
while the CGPA will be
TCP- 100 + 105 = 205
TLU- 22 + 23 = 45
100 and 22 for first semester.
105 and 23 for second semester
the CGPA = 205/45 = 4.55
Now, go back up to where we had a Break
Just GO UP
Lets continue now.
Thats all.
Same calculations applies to everybody and in each
and every semester.
Your CGPA starts from your second semester to the
Eight or tenth or twelve sememester for a 4 or 5 or
6 - year course respectively.
While GPA is on each semester basis.
DANGER ALERT!
A student whose CGPA is below 1.0 at the end of a
semester shall be on PROBATION.
If the CGPA is still less than 1.0 the following
Semester, the student shall be required to
WITHDRAW.
Last but not the least,
FIRST CLASS -- 4.50 - 5.00
Second Class Upper -- 3.50 - 4.49
Second Class Lower -- 2.50 - 3.49
Third Class -- 1.50 - 2.49
Pass -- 1.00 - 1.49
Pass= Graduate without Honours.
final NB : for each course except practical courses.
The mid-semester tests is between 20-40%. And
the End of the Semester Exam is between 60-80%.
Practical courses have no exams. Just each
practicals has each marks which make up the final
Grades.
GOD BLESS YOU.
I LOVE YOU ALL.

These dayz, even on social medias, we observe that a single girl seemz to get the attention of many guyz...i.e. 30 guyz to 1 gurl on an average Nigerian girl's facebook profile...this however iz due to the fact that most of theze females dnt realy have access to these network facilities... subsequently they stay in the DARK...the few ladies who seem to be catching all the attention from guyz shouldn't get carried away by thiz 'virtual mind hack'

EducationWhyuniversities Exist by XXX5(op): 8:59pm On Dec 08, 2014
Why do universities exist? The answer to this
simple question, for some, may prove to be
difficult to answer. There are a lot of different
answers that may be given from education, to a
link to the business world, an athletic spring
board, place of research or a place where one
can just party. I believe the main reason
universities exist is to educate, especially
through research. They provide an environment
which attracts the best minds to congregate and
collaborate to produce more than these people
would alone – it’s mostly about the collection of
people there.
Universities don’t just report and distribute
existing knowledge. They create new knowledge
which profit-driven companies wouldn’t, as it’s
too risky for companies to fund projects which
may not have return. There may be unforeseen
consequences to this, for example: the need to
develop new technologies in order to build the
particle accelerators used in physics research
inadvertently led to the development of
technology, which is used to build the MRI
scanners in hospitals to diagnose patients.
Universities have incredible facilities to produce
the collection of minds such as libraries,
archives and laboratories with expensive
equipment (costing tens of thousands to millions
of dollars), which is only economically smart if
located in places where many people use it. For
students, actually learning from people who are
doing and discovering/creating the knowledge
you are learning about is a great opportunity.
There are even professors who may have
written the textbook, or even be the world
expert in a subject. Also, being exposed to
people and an environment that prepare
research informs and inspires students about
what research is really like, and gives them an
opportunity to try doing it for themselves.
Universities do not exist mainly for the people
they employ. In fact, that comes second to
sharing the wealth of information they create/
share with the world. Therefore, in turn,
universities exist for students. Too many
students pay enormous tuition bills for it to do
otherwise. Modern campuses boast elaborate
student exercise facilities, more and more
comfortable student housing, and ever-fancier
student union buildings. The vast majority of the
people who experience university life are
undergraduate students, so it makes sense that
universities work to enhance this experience. In
fact, that is crucial. Part of the incentive to do so
is the desire to produce happy alumni who will
later contribute to their alma maters.
Diversity and new experiences are a major part
of modern universities. With leaps in technology,
media sharing and travel, universities have
become very diverse places. This is a good
thing. With the world becoming more and more a
global market, people need to learn to co-exist
with one another. Since universities are the
pinnacle of learning and creating, they serve as
the “role model” to the world. They set the
example of people working together in harmony.
Just because someone has a different view
from yours, that doesn’t mean it’s right.
However, you do have to understand their
perspective and respect it. Again, as originally
stated, the collection of minds at a university is
crucial. Therefore, coming out of one’s comfort
zone and experiencing new things is a staple of
life.
Many universities have mission statements,
which pertain to educating, bettering the
community and serving its students. That is
their reason as to why they exist, and the
University of Toledo has one. The mission
statement of the University of Toledo is to
improve the human condition, to advance
knowledge through excellence in learning,
discovery and engagement and to serve as a
diverse, student-centered public-metropolitan
research university. So why do universities
exist? They exist to advance the human
condition and push the limits of the human mind
with collective minds. Universities exist to
create, share and teach Knowledge
