All is well, being a Vet is not really interesting financially. One thing every Vet Doctor must know that he/she must be sincere with your client, if your client is not satisfied with you, try to find out what you did wrong and how to correct it.
Moreover, some Vet looks towards small animals only while their is other unit they can lay on. One of the issue we Vet also face is quackery especially from Dog breeders that claim they are Vet Doctor. Another challenge is that "i don't care attitude " of Senior Vet .
One thing is certain , the future is bright for Veterinary Profession In Nigeria if the basic law can be enforced.

This is a very interesting discourse. I sincerely do not believe that any practice is useless. After reading all the excuses for why it's difficult to thrive as a vet doctor in Nigeria, what jumps at me is the fact that worse can be said of a lot of courses in Nigeria.
For instance, how many accountants are churned out by our universities annually? How many graduates have found their way into IT without studying Computer Science in University and what does this mean for the numerous computer science graduates? How many law firms can absorb the tonnes of lawyers produced annually? I really can continue with so many scenarios.
The point is for graduates to understand that in today's workplace, your first degree is a foundation for whatever you want to become. It is not enough to study and graduate, you must be smart enough to have a medium to long term plan on how to achieve your dreams. You might need to pay some price but your sacrifices must be towards achieving that dream goal you've set for yourself.
Finally, I'll say there are opportunities in Vet medicine. There is an absolute dearth of good hands, even some of the so called DVMs have been found wanting from personal experience. I reckon that the key to thriving in this field just like any other is proper network, specializing and carving a niche for oneself and raw passion. Just like human doctors, you must have a natural interest in helping animals. A lot of practicing vet doctors in Nigeria lack this today and they will keep struggling to survive for as long as this fundamental is missing.

Oga is it ur market? If u he put it 1m now. You people will say engine or gearbox has problem. Car is sold according to condition of the car not what others are sellling. It’s only car dealers that will price this car 1m and then put it in their car stand for 1.5-1.8 depending on the condition. Let’s be frank, if that’s the true mileage of this car and the odometer is not doctored and and the car is in 90% good shape. Then the car is more than 1M.

Thanks for your fair response. Truth is the car is in excellent condition..I can personally vouch for that. It belongs to a lady friend who works with a Financial Institution at Surulere and lives at Yaba. She has hardly used it as her family isn't based in Nigeria so her movement around town is limited. She is selling because she just got promoted and was just given a brand new official car. Viewing can be arranged for serious buyers.

Can you guys not mind your businesses please? You haven't even seen the state of the car compared to your friend's. On several levels, you just can't make the comparison. I was deliberate in using the adjective 'Pristine', given the state of the car. Again I wouldn't indulge you further, I'm happy to relate with real buyers who know and appreciate value.

Before you mentions price on a vehicle, you'll find out how much Tokunbo is, the cleanliness of the car you want to sell, the current market value of the Nigerian used and how long you've used it. These are some of the indices you'll use in determining car prices but they wouldn't hear

The sad thing is to find a reliable GSD now is close to impossible also. Too much of health issue and poor nerves are in this generation breeding. One of the reasons I stayed loyal to my Malinois is because of the superior health advantage.
