Dear Nairalanders, By Idomie, I mean the INDOMIE SUPER PACK brand and not all instant noodles. To go straight to the point, I noticed my urine colour was odd. The colour was yellowish. That got me worried that I began preparing to treat malaria. I wasn't quite sure if it was malaria because I don't feel sick at all except for the colour of my urine which was totally off. I told my friend I need to take drugs for malaria. He asked what's wrong, so I explained to him. He paused for a while and asked if I've been eating Indomie lately. "Yes" I replied. He told me colleagues at work informed him Indomie is responsible for the yellowish urine, but he disagreed. He then suggested we both eat Indomie and observe if the colour of our urine will confirm their claim. We did eat Indomie and had same yellowish urine. I've stayed away from Indomie for few days since then. Besides malaria, I know drugs can have such side effect but Indomie isn't drugs. So my fellow Nairalanders what's your say on this? I don't want to have issues with child bearing neither do I want to have kidney problem that's why I'm raising alarm. What's your say? |
Baritone:I got robbed. I have nothing |

An 8-week-old baby has been sentenced to death by an European Human Rights Court. The Court of Human Rights backed British doctors who reported the matter saying it would be kinder to let the ten month old die. The court gave its verdict on a case of human rights that will compel a couple to allow their sick baby to die. The parents of the baby, Chris Gard and Connie Yates have been in a long legal battle to save their baby, Charlie Gard, who is suffering from a serious genetic illness. The baby is currently on life support while treatment options were being considered. At 8 weeks old, Charlie was diagnosed with mitochondrial DNA depletion syndrome and is considered to be only one of 16 babies worldwide with this disease. His condition is progressive and currently incurable and eventually fatal. Doctors are developing treatments for the various mitochondrial conditions, including the nucleoside treatment Charlie’s parents have been fighting for. The baby’s parents prayed the court to determine if they, as parents, have the right to continue to provide medical treatments for their son or if he should be allowed to die The parents of the 10-months old baby wants the court to let them use a potentially life-saving drug from the U.S. on their son. The Gards believe that the drug (which is still experimental), would help their son’s genetic condition rather than allow him to die as doctors have recommended. However, a ruling yesterday by the court held that the application by the parents was “inadmissible.” The court said that the baby was being exposed to continued pain, suffering and distress in pursuit of treatments that were unsure. It added that any additional treatment would continue to cause harm to the baby, stressing that its ruling is “Final.” The EHRC also removed the interim measure to keep Charlie’s life support in place. A spokesman for Great Ormond Street Hospital, where Charlie has been treated since October, told the parents that there is “no rush” to remove Charlie’s life support, adding that “any future treatment will involve careful planning and discussion.” The hospital has said that though there is a deadline in place for Charlie, they wouldn’t have to follow it exactly. The discussion and planning will take some days to work out. Meanwhile, Charlie’s parents have so far raised over £1.3 million through a GoFundMe account for his treatment. With the ruling of the court, the parents are unsure what they want to do with the money. They plan to donate some to the U.S. hospital willing to treat Charlie, while the rest will be put into a charity for other children with similar mitochondrial conditions, “so that nobody else ever has to go through what we have.” |
cao:Ouch! You are right. Sorry |
I will keep the list simple here! Although my list will cover First Person Shooter (FPS), Third Person Shooter, Soccer, Racing and "Hack & Slash" games. I hate the later on the list though. Note that my list will include only 2 from each genre and it's not upto 70% correct so please feel free to contribute. The list is also influenced by the great game story. I'll be saying my likes and hates on the games and please I will be expecting your contributions and corrections. So let's get straight to business. FPS 1. MODERN COMBAT 5 Graphics are fantastic. The environments are detailed, cup, objects, and papers. The story line is also great. Different missions. But I'm not a fan of compulsory online games. I'm not saying I don't play games online, I'm saying I hate it when you have to go online for the game to be playable. Blood looks like paint here and more like blood in modern combat 4. Overall, the graphics are insane. 2. NOVA 3 (NEAR ORBIT VANGUARD ALLIANCE 3) My favourite any day, anytime. Although NOVA 3 is old, it's still GPU demanding. Great story line. Spicy environments. I won't say much here. TPS 1. BROTHERS IN ARMS 3 Great graphics. Same engine with Modern Combat 5. Takes you to world war 2. I like the part you see your enemies in flames. 2. OVERKILL 3 This game is intense. U don't have much time or space to run around. Your enemies are not far. You must constantly upgrade yourself because your enemies gets more aggressive and lethal and tasks gets crazy as you progress. The graphics are great. But I hate the space. You don't have much control over moving around. You can't even runaway. So it's a load, shoot, hide and swap game. SOCCER 1. PES 2017 I won't say much here. Great graphics, play options and commentary. Footballers are without names on their shirt though. 2. FIFA 16 I prefer this over FIFA MOBILE. Great graphics too. Large game community. RACING 1. ASPHALT 8 If you like good graphics and car stunts. If you don't like the stunts. 2. NEED FOR SPEED MOST WANTED If you don't like the stunts then go with this or REAL RACING 3. HACK & SLASH (I don't like them) 1. WILD BLOOD Good graphics, great story. 2. GOD FIRE Borrowed heavily from GOD OF WAR. Great graphics too |

Dear Nairalanders, Is there a public platform for one to make suggestions to Federal Government? One that works? I have a good suggestion I believe the Government will be interested in. |
Focus your mind on these 3 things in the following order; 1. Your strenght. Banking or Presenting? Remember it's just a bullet in your gun and it's wise to aim where you are good at. 2. Job security. Who among these two keeps employees longer? You don't want to get employed this year and end up on the street next year. 3. Salary structure and employees training |

ademasta:Wow! I now get it. Before this I was thinking "Novelle" to be a certificate. Thank you very much |
wow! How do I go about this Novelle? Where can I do the training? |
Please Nairalanders. I was about enrolling for a HSE level 1&2 training program before a friend told me there are different certificates of HSE. He recommended I train with "Hybrid Consulting Ltd" where he works. He claimed that CIHS (Chattered Institute of Health and Safety) certificate - given by Hybrid Consult - is internationally recognised. Please I need your say on this. I don't want to have a certificate that will be partly honoured in Nigeria. Thanks |
crispgg:Thanks Crispgg. I appreciate |
Please Elijah, how much is Lenovo k5 note plus? |
chidex101:How much is 25 litres? |
I've been on the search for original honey. I met a man who claimed to have original honey in Patigi, Kwara State. He took me to his shop where he showed me 10 '25 liters' of honey. On opening one of it, I percieved bad odour coming out of the container and a visible foam suggesting sour. Dissatisfied, I asked for another. After 4 container appeared to be so, I gave up. But I've not giving up the search. I'm a Corps member serving in Kwara State who needs original honey. If you have ORIGINAL HONEY, Pls let me know. Leave a comment or a private message. Thanks for reading |
