You should gather your ineffectual balls and arrest him..... Quit ranting! You zombies will alleged arm's scam to GEJ yet can't do anything.... Just waiting for the day OBJ and Atiku will be probed over the harlibuton scam... OBJ again, over the electricity fund scam... Same with Ameachi over Rivers state mismanagement of funds while in office... If PMB can't probe his ilk of covins, he should shut his minister of info UP!!!! |

Kbs468: Honestly since I wasn't mobilised for B15, and nothing much was said about this relative to the the choices made by present B15 corpers,
I would summed up my conclusion thus:
1. It shouldn't have reflected since Nysc criteria is posting someone away from his or her comfort zone, but it is not the case because the explicitly stated exception are your state of origin and state of location for graduation school
2. Considering the huge population of PCMs, I don't think the members of staff of Nysc in charge of posting would have time in analysing those details before deciding among your 3 choices
3. Those info and those of 2 next of kin are actually demanded for in case of Emergency only and nothing more. @treshbanj, Abuja will appear as one of your preferred states but you'll not be given abuja... You're not from Abuja and you didn't school there... Therefore, abuja is one of the states you're familiar with. You'll only be given states you're not familiar with. |

OhimaiTours: Thanks for your comment. I don't know if there is difference between having a dream and having passion but I know for sure I have passion for travel and tourism, maybe that's different from dreaming of it like you stated in terms of me not having a dream.
Now just to clarify something which I think is being misunderstood here. I never mentioned am looking for a job that will pay me handsomely in terms of cash. I clearly stated that I need a job were I can gain much more experience in the field of travel and tourism. I mentioned that I will like to possibly work with someone already in the industry in other to get more exposure into the sector. Yes everyone needs a job with a good pay but it's not always about the money sometimes. Passion for what you do can take you to greater heights from were you started from. I might have workers on my payroll but if you know about Benin City, trust me you will be shocked how much salary could be because there is really no good jobs here except maybe very few. Most people who have money in Benin just actually work here but their families can be here doing good.
I really need the experience which I believe will lead to more opportunities even in regards to meeting new people and being in a new environment. You're literally saying one thing... Passion, goals, dreams, objectives... Are all interchangeable... Of which either of this can't do without the other... Passion for something will drive you to obtain your goals... This is now ur dream. Anyhow you want to twist it... You need a job... And you're begging for it... You should know better... Twisting words won't do u any good... Excuses doesn't fit you... Stop using your parents as an excuse... Go out there and make urself a man... Ataya for you oh... |

OhimaiTours: There is nothing fishy if you can really understand what I am saying. I am not complaining I need money to get an apartment of my own. I rented an apartment in games village in Abuja and my parents weren't happy with me being far from them. I had to come back close to them for a while but they feel bad anytime I mentioned I want to go back to Abuja.
Yes I have my LLB in Law but am really not keen in practising so that's why am now ready to go do that hectic reading in Law school now.
My reason for coming on this forum is because I have seen people comment on how they got jobs here and being a large forum I am confident that I can meet someone who will assist me in the right way.
Nothing is fishy about me or what I am doing here, I am making applications also but like the saying goes, spread your wings and don't put all eggs in one basket. Oga.... You have everything it takes to explore your dreams.... Most news u read here about ppl giving help to others doesn't mean the bring it in a plater... The give the information and the masses gulp on it.. And the luckiest ones come back to testify. And again... I will say you don't have a dream... You can't be a man of your own. Infact, your age is overlooked by ur parents... Whether they earn 1million naira as a pension.. Most of them will give you the freedom to explore ur own world... This more like you're a prisoner to ur parents... You have workers on ur payroll and you want another job... If the kindaf assistance you give to ur parents is a business.. I'm sure you'd be able to make connections that could give u upper links... What am I even saying... Oga, you don't need any help abeg... Me I be real kpako oh...if u go bring money come...I fit help u give u touring jobs... You gree? |

ayosco2008: Well since he schooled in unilag, lagos is out of the states he can pick and also his state of origin. You can pick any other states from the southwest. I.e ogun, Oyo, ondo, ekiti, Osun. Bear in mind u can't pick ur state of origin and state you schooled. Exactly, that is why I said.... Free 5 states... Except Lagos... The South-Western region has 6states all together... He cannot pick two in that same region... |

raylord: I don't really get ur response to no2 question. I studied in unilag. will dat prevent me from being able to choose Lagos Ok, my point is... We have 6 geopolitical zones with the states under them... Thus: 1: North central: Abuja, Plateau, Benue, Kogi, Kwara, Nasarawa, and Niger states. 2: North East: Borno, Adamawa, Bauchi, Gombe, Taraba and Yobe states. 3: North West: Kaduna, Kano, Zamfara, Sokoto, Kebbi, Katsina and Jigawa states. 4: South East: Ebonyi, Imo, Abia, Enugu and Anambra states. 5: South South: Edo, Delta, Cross River, Akwa Ibom, Rivers, and Bayelsa States. 6: South West: Lagos, Ekiti, Oyo, Osun, Ondo and Ogun states. Now, in each of this geo-political zones... You're entitle to pick just one into three geo-political zones... That is to say, out of 6, you can only pick 3... Also, if your school in lagos and you're from lagos... you'll have 5 free options outside the states in South-Western region. I don't know how to twist it any further... Kbs468, honourable minister... Your office is needed here. You can send your special adviser to assist you if you're still busy on your tour with your twins. |

npn001: Pls I need answers to the following questions, thank you for your kind response.
1. Can I choose the 3 states from the same region (Ondo, Ekiti, Osun from southwest region) or it has to be one state per region? You can't chose these three states from the same region... It has to be one from each of the geo-plolitical zone.. Eg: south-south, south-east, south-west, ect. 2. I live in Lagos, schooled in Ibadan and I'm Delta, will this affect my choice of states? i.e. Will i be able to choose any of these states? It won't affect your choice of state if you do a little shuffling... Selecting from one geo-political zone. 3. What are the documents(papers) and how many copies do I need to take to camp? Is school IDcard needed because i still have my 300L IDcard with me, I've not collected my final year IDcard because it's not ready, dunno why undecided You'll need your certificate or statement of result, an ID-card, the green letter that will be printed alongside your call up letter (most people say it isn't really relevant though). Most importantly, carry ALL your certificates. Your 300L ID-card will be accepted as you'll be given an ID-card that you'll use through out your serving year. 4. What kind of white tops and knickers are needed and how many will be reasonable to bring along. What other things should I take along, heard stapler, gum, etc is important, what are the other things needed? Just a white round neck polo.. Either luc polos or BYC or the likes. The knickers could be any fabric but wool and cotton fabric will do and it must be around your knee level. A reasonable number of it is dependent on you. Use your keen perception. I'll quote you to drop other items needed... Seperately from this post. 5. How is stream 1 and stream 2 determined by NYSC? That is not known by anybody... Some will say, it's based on the numbers of PCMs needed in each camp. Thanks for your answers You're welcome. |

amodu: Top of the morning to you all
The Senate yesterday went on recess will resume February 25th and slated that day for the passage of the 2016 appropriation bill.
Considering the distance of that day and with our conviction that it is the budget that is delaying the NYSC in setting date for the orientation camp.
Aren't we on a long thing or what do you think There are many factors to consider...but I'll limit it to saying that the slated date for the passage of the 2016 budget bill will not affect us... Because, NYSC PRS would order for loan from the CBN to kickstart the event. |

justi4jesu: Not broad enough and most people will still be asleep by at 6am. if a crime is committed in broad daylight, it happens during the day when it could easily have been seen and prevented.
