A member of the congregation has confirmed that the shooting at Tabernacle of Praise Worship Center was more than likely because the late Pastor Ronald Harris Sr. appear to have been involved with the Shooter’s wife. Church members who asked not to be named are confirming reports that the pastor not only had an ongoing affair with Woodrow Karey’s wife but possibly his daughter as well, which is what led to the shooting.



As more women have come out to make allegations that they have slept with the shooting victim, another member has said that the now deceased pastor had many affairs throughout the congregation.



A church member who asked not to be identified said the pastor was having sex with different women in the Churches parsonage.



“He was sleeping with multiple women at the church parsonage, but he slept with the Deacon’s wife at the Woodrow’s house. This has been going on for a while, so it was only a matter of time before it came out. I Just didn’t think it would come out like this. If you get a man’s daughter pregnant and you sleeping with his wife – then I could see how this happened.”

Calcasieu Parish Sheriff Tony Mancuso said during a press conference that the wife of the man accused of shooting Pastor Ronald J. Harris Sr. filed a rape complaint against Harris on Wednesday, two days before he was gunned down at the Tabernacle of Praise church. Mancuso said authorities will subpoena warrants to check phone records between Karey's wife and Harris.



Mancuso said there was a sexual relationship between Harris and Woodrow Karey Jr.'s wife, but couldn't say whether the relationship was consensual.



According to spokeswoman Kim Myers, it happened around 8:20 p.m. at the Tabernacle of Praise Worship Center at 307 Deshotel Lane in Lake Charles.



Myers said Pastor Ronald J. Harris Sr. was shot "as he was preaching."



Woodrow Karey Jr., 53, of Lake Charles, is accused of walking into the church and shooting Harris.



Myers said Harris, of Lake Charles, was pronounced dead at the scene.



Calcasieu Parish Sheriff said Karey shot Harris with a shotgun twice, once when he walked into the church and a second time when Harris fell to the floor. Myers said Karey walked up to him and shot him at close range

When you collect money from a political party or Government agency to kill your fellow muslim or non muslim then your organization must have some political or hidden agenda. But when kill poople and use Islam as a cover up, thats where the issue is. Kill people using some political organization and not Islam. But hey, what do you expect. Armed robber going out to rob people of their belongings pray to God that he/she comes back with loads of stolen goods. The person the armed robber is comming to attack is also praying to God. I guess whether good or Bad, we all have a right to the same God.

It saddens me when muslims are mute when muslims are killing muslims but when its non-muslim, then we rally. Just like I see a lot of write up against america killing in the middle east, let us write about the corrupt leaders governing this countries, drug lords, terrorist organizations, etc.

If we really think about this whole thing, America is looking for ways to remain the most powerful in the world. Every move they make is strategic to whatever they want to achieve. Every countries does it too. We in America don't agree to everything the government does but that doesn't mean we have to be bombing people. Do you know there are huge differences in America?.. today, the whole federal government shutdown. But youll not see one faction killing another just to prove a point.

As a muslim, it is my responsibility that I wish the best for my muslim brothers and sisters all over the world. As an American, I have to love my country people too. People need to understand when strategic moves are being made at the country/political level to retain power. And religious strategic moves against Muslims. Please tell me, Is the grudges between USA and (Russia, China, North Korea, Cuba, etc) targeted based on religion or race. Or is this about being in Power. When they have grudges against Islamic countries, they hate ISLAM. Then we can say America hates Non muslims too then.

My most concern and passion is with Muslim, we have to clean our houses first before pointing fingers. We have injustice within Islam. Lets focus on that. When America goes to Libya, Syrian, Egypt, or ANY OTHER ISLAMIC countries, are they dealing with non-muslims?. They are dealing with muslims right?


1. Why are muslims women and kids being killed by THE SO CALLED Jihadist. They use them as shields, they killed them with suicide bombs.
2. Why are muslims killing other muslims in Masjids. They cant create an ounce of a soul but they dont think twice before they take a life. I look forward to the day when all muslims will pour to the street against Jihadist. Personally, i see Masjid killing the same level as someone insulting the prophets Muhammad (SWA). If it is non muslim insulting the prophets Muhammad (SWA), we are rallying. But when a muslim like us DISRESPECT THE MASJID AND ALLAH, we are mute. Why cant we rally against this devilish act. Ya Allah, Ya Sobur.... hmn.
3. Why are muslims killing other non-muslims.....
4. When other countries are fighting a war, they declare a war, but muslims, we have Jihadist springing from every corner. Why can't we have organized wars initiated by a country, why militants. Personally, I think other muslims dont say anything because they think they are fighting for Islamic rights. I wear Hijab to work everyday. How will I feel if some non-muslims militant group commit an act of violence against me because they want to retaliate against muslims killing other non-muslims. They have a right just like Islamic militants have a right.

Am a nigerian american muslim myself and I dont agree with your comments. Whats the benefit of referring to historical killings committed by other non-muslims. Does it justify the killings by muslims today? The issue at hand is that we have so called muslims killing innocents people using the name of Allah. And there is no benefit in referencing 9/11 either because all races and mixed of all religions died innocently that day including muslims.

When the Prophet Mohammad (saw) started spreading Islam, he didn't have a particular race and region in mind. The main purpose was to spread the word of Allah (swt) all over the world. We as muslims need to get it that all of the countirs of the world have muslims. We as an American have children that are muslim, and they are American. Tell me, if they go knocking on the door of Saudi arabia, or UAE, etc. Will they be giving and allowed to be a citizen of these countries. How many of these so call Islamic countries are welcoming muslim that ARE POOR in other nations/countries and give them second chance in life by offering VISA, PERMANENT RESIDENCE AND CITIZENSHIP. Tell me, how many?

When you hate or attack the western nations, you are attacking us muslims too. When you refer to Western countries as KAFIR nations, you are insulting me, my kids and every other muslims in those countries. Islam was created for all nations and regions so lets think like that.And stop this west vs east vs islam mindset. Should i pack my belongings and move to Nigeria where we have a muslim vice president and corruptions is the norm or move to UAE, Saudi, where I'll not be giving permanent resident just because am a muslim.?

2. Speak up against your corrupt countries and leaders.
3. Educate people and stop this notion of western education vs East vs Islam. All western countries have muslim?
4. When there are Islamic injustice, Have a structured/organized rallies, send delegates to United nations or countries about injustice, Have dialogs, use the media, etc. PLEASE THERE ARE LOTS OF PEACEFUL MODES THAT CAN BE USED.
5. Speak out against family members, brothers, sister, community leaders, Imams, etc. THAT ARE JUST FULL OF HATES.


Is america only using drones in Islamic countries only?, Is america the only country using drones. All countries (except for the ones with leaders that are only concern about corruptions) are collecting intelligence data against each other?. If america is using drones in your country, speak up to your leaders, let the leaders protest against it. Why dont we as muslim speack out against this eveil people that use women, and kids as shield when they know they are fighting a war. Am not oppose to the western nations, Am opposed to injustice against muslim in every nation all over the world. With no special treatments giving to one country as an Islamic country and the other as non Islamic. We are all muslims after all... issues should be resolved thru National leaders and National Army, not some militants....

I was in Naija in June and traffic was like Hell. Here in US I used to complain about my 1.30 min commute from Maryland to Virginia on certain days of the week. Normally its takes about 50 minutes drive for 45 miles stretch from my house to my job. In Lagos, it can take 2 to 3 hours from Festact town to Lagos Island.

Another country that CAME TO NIGERIA in the seventies is refining palm kernel to the fullest potential... Palm oil is an extremely popular vegetable oil amongst manufacturers. It is used in over 50% of products, including: baked goods, confectionery, cosmetics, body products and cleaning agents. Hmn.. go figure.....
