Bunnatex: Please not Obiano. Don't use the propaganda you read from the newspaper to make such assertions.
The best Governor in Anambra remains Peter Obi, Ngige, Obiano and Mbadinuju.
Soludo can't be judged now cause he's still incumbent, however he's really working I must say.
This is the plain truth sentiments asides.

OBI must participate in primary election with ATIKU and others he likes it or not 😆 Amumaigwe: As if you have forgotten how Tinubu bought out almost all other contestants and all the delegates to grab the APC ticket.
That's how Atiku plans to buy everyone. Obi does not do that kind of politics. He once said and I quote: 'I will rather do the right thing and fail than do the wrong thing and succeed'
He can match Atiku money for money. But it will go against his principles. His vast wealth is strictly for charity. |

Hismercy234: It is not a threat, it is no blackmail. The true is, Obi cannot be part of any useless Coalition that will only bring Atiku. Going to the primary is only a waste for time because the deligates cannot reject Atiku's money. When APC was formed via coalition, was this how it operated? Buhari won because Buhari was a movement, it was not about party but about a self motivated individual. ATIKU case, it is money, if he stops sharing money, even a counselorship ticket, he can't win. so because buhari was a movement is that what made him to defeat ATIKU in primary election? |

Why will obi beg? Is he not popular enough to defeat ATIKU in primary election? Someone that is scared of primary election how can he win in general election? Nemere2020: Supporters of the 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi, popularly known as the ‘Obidents’, in Abia State, have appealed to former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, to shelve his rumoured presidential ambition in 2027, and throw his weight behind Obi to pick the presidential ticket of the coalition African American Congress, ADC.
They made the appeal during their mega rallies on Saturday to mark Obi’s 64 birthday.
The peaceful rally daubed ‘one million man-march for Obi’, held simultaneously in Umuahia the state capital, Aba the commercial nerve centre, Ohafia and Uzuakoli towns respectively.
Addressing newsmen in Umuahia, the Abia State Chairman of the Organising Committee and one of the Coordinators of the Obidients in the state, Dr Chibuzor Obiesili, appealed to Atiku to sacrifice his presidential ambition in support of Obi, who he said has the quick fix to Nigeria’s challenges if given the opportunity.
Dr Obiesili acknowledged the efforts and contributions of the former Vice President to move Nigeria forward, but strongly appealed to him to take the back seat and support Obi’s presidential bid.
He commended Atiku and other opposition figures for forming the coalition against President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid, but advised the coalition to cede its presidential ticket to the South.
On why the movement is rooting for Obi, he said the former Anambra State Governor “has the pedigree, track record of integrity and national appeal”.
” We thank those behind the formation of the coalition. But we appeal that the coalition should consider Obi for its presidential ticket because he has the national appeal needed to uproot the ruling APC.
” We plead with Atiku to please step aside for Obi. Atiku has tried his best for Nigeria but his greatest sacrifice and gift to Nigeria will be to support Obi get the ADC presidential ticket in 2027 so that Nigeria can move forward. Nigeria needs an Obi for a quick fix, and in the interest of all. He has what is needed to pull Nigeria out of the woods!”
On the birthday rally, Obiesili said it was not coerced but a voluntary action by the Obidents to celebrate Obi “for what he represents and stands for”.
He said that Obi’s consistent advocacy for the poor and oppressed masses of Nigeria had endeared him to many across party, religious and ethnic lines.
” Obi has shown exemplary leadership. His lifestyle and passion for the masses are worth emulating. He is a man of character, integrity and compassion. That’s why we are celebrating him.
” We haven’t seen a politician in Nigeria today who is as clean and transparent as he . If one comes up tomorrow, we will also celebrate the person but for now, we haven’t seen any”.
He wished Obi long life and sound health while praying God to grant him his dream of presiding over the affairs of the country.
” Our prayer is that God will grant him his life dream of becoming the President of this country one day”, he declared.
Meanwhile members of the Obident Movement, in jubilant procession, marched through major streets in Umuahia, chanting solidarity songs and dancing to the admiration of residents.
Highlight of the rally was empathy visit to correctional centres, hospitals and orphanages where the Obidents donated some items to them in memory of Obi.

And peter also knows that he is fooling himself by thinking INEC has polling unit online VeryWickedMan: Read my last thread to understand this fully...
Believe it or not, Peter Obi is trapped. The man is conflicted.
Let me highlight his current status before I delve in deeper.
Point #6 is non-negotiable. It is why Obi will agree to Point #3.
If Peter Obi does not run in 2027 his supporters will leave him but if Atiku does not run in 2027 nothing will happen when he returns to run.
IF, and a very big IF, Atiku agrees to allow Peter Obi to run under ADC in 2027, Tinubu is gone.
If Atiku signs a handover deal with Tinubu for 2031 like Buhari/Tinubu did then it is over for Peter Obi (and Wike)
Atiku holds all the aces after his defection + Buhari's demise and this is why it will be extremely difficult to make him step down. To be honest, this is Atiku's best ever chance to be President and Peter Obi knows it. |

That means they are all fooling you and others kingbee90: It is too early for state governors to start decamping to the ADC. As a wise governor, you don't do that now inorder to be in the good books of the president. "There's time to fight & there's time to mellow."
Remember that in 2015, Governors started defecting to the APC in their numbers few months before the general election. |
