Electorate:
President Tinubu recently declared a State of emergency in Rivers State suspending the Governor, his deputy and the State House of assembly members, However, the fourth culprit and primary figure in the crises Nyesom Wike was not suspended showing lack of fairness from the President, Everybody knows Wike's role in the crises,
President Tinubu also knows this reason he has called Governor Fubara and Wike for a peace meeting.

Ironically, while dishing out suspensions President Tinubu publicly took sides with Wike. This isn't a good sign of leadership, this is a flawed judgement and an insult to the sensibility of Nigerians who are well informed on Wike's role in the Rivers State crises.

Unfortunate for NBA they won't get anything from FUBARA 😂😂

President TINUBU did the right thing, FUBARA don't even know why he was a governor.

The assembly members publicly tendered and announced their defections to apc it was not a rumour or conspiracy. Then halfway backed out and returned back without notifying the public same way. That is not fubara's fault.

did they write officially to their Ward they have resign? Did they register as APC members? Who received their later of resigning from PDP? Just simple question Biko. Media resign is different from constitution requirements resign from the party or to belong to another party

A leader or president's authority is derived from the law, and there is absolutely nowhere in the constitution that allows him to remove you from office. He is only allowed to declare a state of emergency during war or serious crisis, and he needs the declareration to be approved by the national assembly. So he lacks the power to unilaterally declare a state of emergency else it will be abused.

Declaring a state of emergency does not mean a military administrator will takeover your role. This is democracy (which the military swore to protect) not military rule. Rivers state is not in the kind of situation to warrant a military rule. It could qualify as treason. However, a temporal military rule may be possible during total breakdown of Law and order until peace is restored. The issue in rivers state is very little to warrant a military takeover. But if they insist, you could create a special office for the security personnel to handle the pipeline issue during the emergency. You remain the Governor of Rivers state. Fully assist the military and other security agencies to secure the pipeline and keep Rivers state safer.
Continue to serve your role as democratically elected governor of Rivers state and GOD will be with you.
