Has ADC ever disrupted other parties from going about their party business and activities, since you want to play to the gallery with your own pettiness…Apc destroyed pdp and rewarded Wike handsomely for that, Apc destroyed LP and rewarded Lamidi Apapa for it… Apc is currently taunting ADC, so if you don’t want to have general elections, say it so that only your party will be on the ballot… then Nigeria will start practicing a new system of government which is not democracy because in democracy, there’s no interference of government in the business of another political party… but Apc has been using that strategy, I’m glad some of the people that helped Tulumbu achieve that in the past have left… so it’s up to him to decide what system of government he wants to adopt
ok

PoliticsRe: INEC: We Can’t Have One-party System In Nigeria – ADC Dares Tinubu by yarimo(m): 4:45pm On Apr 08
Simple question is ADC the only political party in Nigeria?
floss:
So to sophisticated people and failure strategist , having Inec and judiciary as your foot soldiers is how elections are conducted in other countries… if you’re really sure of yourself, let Inec chairman, and chief justice of Nigeria be independent and not answerable to or being appointed by the president , then you’ll see free and fair elections… see the pettiness of Apc , ever since kwankwaso joined, Tulumbu has been scared.

If you’re so convinced you’ve worked for the people, you don’t need the governors or celebrities by paying them to be with you in your camp…. You should have the people because power is with the people not governors… see abia state for example

Yesterday, I made a post explaining how grossly INEC had erred. And for that matter it did so hastily leaving dangerous streaks all the way.
The ADC guys already know there is no crisis in the party although they want to capitalize on it to show how unpopular and desperate TInubu and APC are, and attract more attention, which is working perfectly.
You know why ADC guys are not jittery, the INEC action is a big slap on their credibility and it will lead to the removal of Amupitan. Let's go straight to the point.
1. INEC claims it acted on court order. Up to this moment INEC has no written instruction, notice from any court, judge detailing the action INEC should take. Nigerians are asking Amupitan, he is stammering. Legally, you don't pass a judgement without a copy or written statement (declaratives) signed for action or inaction.
2. INEC claims its action is based on the judgement of the appeal court that ADC should return to the situation before the war (before Mark and Aregbe became ADC leaders). Good. You know what INEC did? It wiped out all the leaders on the ADC from their portal without recognizing Nwosu the original ADC chairman who has been saying APC is pestering him with billions but he refused.
3. INEC, APC, Wike most laughably now recognize Nafiu Bala who is just one of the regional deputies in a country that has six regions. Shockingly, what APC and Wike say is what INEC is saying.

If you look at the whole situation, INEC, Wike and APC acted hastily like thieves and messed up big time. It all speaks of desperation of TInubu who has been rejected by Nigerians.
Tell me why ADC should worry. You see no one is leaving and more people especially in the North are joining every day. The protests and many more come are all attempt to expose the corrupt and bias INEC and show how undemocratic TInubu is. TInubu should start packing his load because nothing will save him. ADC won't go to court. Everything will be handled lawfully on the street. 2023 was an eye-opener, it won't happen again.

Validated:
The 2027 elections are set to be a two horse race between APC and ADC.

INEC cannot stop a party that Nigerians are already fascinated about. So, Alh Bola Tinubu, the Jagaban Borgu should get ready for elections.

My prayers are that ADC pit forward Peter Obi and Kwankwaso. He results would be 36 over 36 states for ADC. Even Osun and Lagos states will be won by the ADC.

Ironfaceman:
"Nigeria is fantastically corrupt" those were the words of David Cameron.

Nigeria is in a political quagmire again and as usually activist will show support for or against the issue.

The battle for the soul of Nigeria democracy is at stake. Yet sowore and Adeyanju that claims to be opposition are nowhere on site..

Only time will tell. Just as time has exposed NADECO as a fraud.

The real opposition will emerge victorious. By God's power.

Naijahero1:
Watch out as things unfold. TInubu is peeing with fear. The fear of Obi and Kwankwaso is making him restless. The way people are leaving for ADC will make TInubu take decisions that will drown him faster. The story of crisis in APC is the way to start. Nigeria must be free.

BREAKING: Crisis Erupts at APC as New Faction Emerges, Declares New Chairman

A fresh crisis has rocked the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), as a new faction has surfaced, deepening the party’s leadership troubles and raising fresh concerns ahead of the 2027 elections.

The development, which unfolded on Wednesday, signals a sharp division within the party’s top hierarchy and threatens its internal stability.

The crisis reportedly escalated after a reconciliation meeting convened at the instance of the President failed to produce any meaningful outcome.

What was expected to calm rising tensions instead exposed deeper cracks within the party, leading to the emergence of a rival leadership structure.

Findings indicate that the dispute has been brewing for days but took a dramatic turn when two opposing camps failed to reach a compromise.

The faction led by Nentawe Yilwatda is said to have made a financial offer of 40 billion naira to the rival group led by Hafsatu Danladi in a bid to resolve the impasse.

However, the offer was rejected outright, further widening the rift and dimming hopes of a quick resolution.

Sources familiar with the development say the disagreement is now threatening the party’s ability to present a united front in future elections.

There are growing fears that the lingering crisis could affect the APC’s chances of fielding a strong presidential candidate in 2027 if not urgently addressed.

Meanwhile, legal fireworks appear imminent. Strong indications suggest that the matter may soon be decided in court, as moves are underway to challenge the legitimacy of the current leadership.

There are also suggestions that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) may be drawn into the dispute, especially if a court ruling compels it to withdraw recognition from one of the factions.

When contacted, the camp loyal to Nentawe Yilwatda acknowledged the existence of the crisis but declined to provide details. The camp also avoided commenting on allegations that some governors within the party may be backing efforts to remove the current leadership.

In a strongly worded statement, the rival faction made its position clear and signaled its next line of action:

“PRESS RELEASE

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Re: Leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC)

I, Alhaja Hafsatu Danladi, hereby assert my position as the true and authentic Chairperson of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

In light of recent developments within the party, I will be approaching the Federal High Court in Abuja to challenge the legitimacy of the current leadership.

This action seeks to unseat what I consider an illegitimate structure presently overseeing the affairs of our great party.

Furthermore, I will be requesting the court to direct the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to discontinue recognition of the National Working Committee (NWC) led by Mr. Nentawe Yilwatda.

This step is necessary to uphold the rule of law, protect the integrity of our party, and ensure that due process is followed in its leadership.

Thank you.

Alhaja Hafsatu Danladi

APC Chairperson.”

The statement has further intensified the situation, with both camps now standing firm on their claims to legitimacy.

As of the time of filing this report, efforts to broker peace between the factions have yet to yield results. The coming days are expected to be decisive as legal actions commence and pressure mounts on party leaders to find common ground.

BREAKING: Crisis hits APC as Hafsatu Danladi declares herself National Chairman

A fresh leadership crisis appears to be brewing within Nigeria’s ruling party after a woman, Alhaja Hafsatu Danladi, publicly declared herself the authentic national chairperson of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

In a press statement released on Wednesday, Danladi challenged the legitimacy of the party’s current leadership and announced plans to seek legal redress.

Legal battle looms over APC leadership
Danladi stated that she would approach the Federal High Court in Abuja to contest what she described as an “illegitimate structure” currently managing the party’s affairs.

According to her, the move is aimed at restoring due process and protecting the integrity of the APC, which has in recent times faced internal disagreements over leadership and direction.

“I hereby assert my position as the true and authentic Chairperson of the APC,” she declared in the statement, insisting that her claim is grounded in legality.

Call for INEC intervention

As part of the legal action, Danladi revealed that she would also seek a court order compelling the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to withdraw recognition from the party’s current National Working Committee.

She specifically named the NWC led by Nentawe Yilwatda as lacking legitimacy, arguing that allowing the leadership to continue would undermine democratic principles within the party.

“This step is necessary to uphold the rule of law and ensure that due process is followed,” she added

DAILY POST reports that his resignation letter dated April 5, 2026, was addressed to the APC Ward Chairman in Gaya Local Government Area of Kano State, indicating that his decision takes immediate effect.

Gaya said his decision followed a “careful reflection and wide consultation,” noting that leaving the APC aligns with the best interests of his constituents and his personal convictions.

“I extend my sincere gratitude to the party for the platform it provided me and for the cooperation and camaraderie extended over the years,” he stated.

The letter was formally acknowledged by the Gaya Arewa Ward Chairman, Adam A. Adam.

Speaking to journalists on his next political move on Tuesday, Gaya confirmed his defection to the ADC, adding that he maintains a cordial relationship with Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna.

He noted that they are set to work together towards strengthening and ensuring the success of the ADC in Kano State.

Gaya’s defection to ADC follows earlier defections of the State 2023 gubernatorial candidate of the APC, Nasiru Gawuna who left the party mid last week.
