Granting interviews is not a criteria in our electoral laws or constitution. But how do the electorates get to access a candidate if he or she keeps on running away from the media. Mind you, campaign rallies is just a jamboree because the candidates don't say meaningful things at the campaign grounds.

The reason why our country is backward is simply because mediocres are the ones occupying sensitive political offices through nepotism. During the last general election, Tinubu refused to attend interviews and debates because he had nothing meaningful to tell Nigerians and we all can see where he is taking us to.
