I made a post in political section and within seconds an automatic comment was made by a strange user with name Tundegan, the speed at which this comment was added to my post was fishy as it appears this user is a bot. To confirm my curiosity, after the comment then 10 likes was mysteriously added to this user's comment, you can see screenshot below as at the time of making this post.... I decided to check the user profile and noticed that this user has not added a single thread since the account was created in 2022.... I've also observed that these mischievous accounts, fake likes seem to be a platformwide issue as it appears it is added mainly to users comments that are praising Tinubu, APC or any government policies.... it is obvious that the like button has been weaponized and deployed as part of propaganda tool to sway readers opinion on this platform.... I hope the mods are not behind this as it is unfortunate if this mischievous trend is allowed to continue to dent the integrity of Nairaland's user engagement especially on political threads....
