Just this evening my grandma who is a retired primary school teacher got an alert on her phone and behold it was a credit alert from her bank with description " Abia state govt arrears payoff".
She was paid all that she has been owed in months.
Omo her joy knows no bounds.
The previous governments were very irregular in their payment of retirees pensions, some times they pay once in 3 months or once in like 4 months.
Today I truly believed that God has come to the rescue of Abians.
God bless Governor Alex Otti and his team.
God bless Abia state.
