It is with joy in my heart that I want to write to congratulate brothers and sisters in the south east and all around the world for the successful end to Monday sit at home in Igbo land. The Igbos are hard working people and obeying the sit at home wouldn't do any good to our ever growing and God blessed region. So, ending the sit at home was the right thing to do so that we will continue to grow non stop to the envy of our brothers in south west whose region has been surrounded by Fulani herdsmen.

The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, says it has cancelled its sit at home order across the South East.

The group announced the decision in a statement on Saturday, saying it followed a directive from its detained leader, Nnamdi Kanu.

According to IPOB, Kanu instructed the leadership to suspend the action in the interest of peace and the return of normal economic activities in the region.
