Hi guys, I just picked up my RN4X and its pouch this afternoon from Nipost.

I ordered the casing on the 20th of March while I ordered the RN4X from Dreami on the 24th.

Dreami shipped on the 26th, accepted by carrier on the 29th of March.

Both got to NG Nipost on the 4th of April as reflected in Nipost tracking and I picked them up at Ikeja GPO today (5th April)

Dial *#06#. You are supposed to se the MEID and two different IMEI. If the meid is missing then thats the cause.

Yes. If you are certain you receive otp on the sim attached to your mi account, go to mi cloud and reset your password. Then reboot your phone and re-login to your mi account

Still believe it has to do with your network strength, had similar issues after flashing China stable rom on redmi pro.

Its possible your network is not stable that's why.

Is your phone number attached to your account? Use your laptop to reset the password.

Does it recognize mobile network? It's possible you wiped the imei during the flashing process.

So yesterday i decided (dunno who sent me) to flash my sisters phone (redmi pro) that came with a vendor rom to China stable.

After reading all the instructions and feeling informed like our Honorable Lai Mohammed. I proceeded to download all the required tools connect the phone to the pc and wow her by making her phone better.

Suddenly, that very annoying sound that comes up when windows encounters an error came up and I was like Warris dis.

Turns out I had to format the phone first. I did just that but still phone no gree flash. See me see gobe. My sister was just looking at me like if anything do my phone you go buy me Samsung galaxy note 9. Somehow somehow the phone managed to flash and I was feeling like a boss.

Turned on phone and imei haff loss. I actually started sweating like a real Christmas goat. Spent the better part of 3 hours trying to restore imei and medi code.

Didn't know all that was important.

Well finally got the phone up and running after a better part of 6 hours.

Its easy na, there is no official global stable rom for redmi pro for now. You can also type the miui version on your device on Google, you'll see it's referred to as the famous 'fake rom'.

Gptech:
If you don't encounter any issue with the phone, then no problems, but the rom is actually fake not original. Am not trying to discourage you but incase of any issues, just know there's nothing wrong with your phone, but the rom should be blamed.
