Nigerian and three Brazilian men have been busted by the Indian Narcotic Control Bureau (NCB) for smuggling condoms filled with cocaine.
The three men were taken into custody on the 16th of April from a guest house in Paharganj in Delhi. It was revealed that about 2.6 kgs of liquid cocaine had been obfuscated in condoms by the two Brazilians who were supposed to deliver it to the Nigerian man.
According to the Narcotic Drug and Psychotropic Substance (NDPS) Act the three men were arrested.
The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) zone Director- Madho Singh had this to say:
“The trafficking of liquid cocaine concealed in foodstuff from South American countries is a new modus operandi being adopted by Africans syndicates to deceive the drug law enforcement officers.”

According to reports, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka allegedly resurrected a dead baby during a program at the Adoration ministry in Enugu State, yesterday.
According to social media users who shared the photo online, the child was brought to the crowded crusade in a box and handed to the priest who then revived her after praying for her before returning her to her family.
In the photos, Fr. Mbaka is seen at the altar, bending over the child who was lying on the box. In a different photo, he was seen handing the child back to her mother.

He was in the state to drum support for the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Saturday’s governorship poll, Dr Tony Nwoye.


The state started experiencing traffic gridlock as early as 10am, when party supporters from all over the state started arriving in busses for the campaign.

President Muhammed Buhari who touched down in a presidential chopper at about 1:40pm at the Alex Ekwueme square was welcomed by Governor Willie Obiano, before he proceeded to the rally ground at the main bowl of the square.

The president while addressing party faithful called on the people of Anambra State to massively vote for Dr Tony Nwoye, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC). He said Anambra stands to benefit much by voting APC.

The president said apart from Anambra, the other states in the South-East would equally gain a lot as several infrastructures have been earmarked for construction in the South-East in the next year’s budget.

The younger Ojukwu told President Buhari that his actions were to ensure that Igbo land was moved into mainstream national politics.

He berated the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, for always dragging his late father out at every election, when in the true sense of it, he was sure his father would have loved to play in mainstream politics if he were alive.

Chief Victor Oye, national chairman of APGA who reacted to the defection said his defection had no force. He described Ojukwu Jnr. as a prodical son.

The Nigeria Senate has approved the sum of $340 million World Bank loan for Ogun State for development policy operations.

The approval followed the report of the Committee on Local and Foreign Debts which was presented by Senator Shehu Sani on Thursday.

In his report, Sani said, the loan had already been approved by World Bank in 2016 which was already captured in the budget which was being implemented.

He maintained that the State has low local and debt profile, hence, it was appropriate for the loan to be approved by the Senate.

“That the Senate do consider the report of the Committee on Local and Foreign Debts on the Ogun State Development Policy Operations (DPO) loan of $350 million from the World Bank.”

The report also indicated that Ogun development plan was in consonance with the mandate of President Muhammadu led administration.

Subjecting it to votes by the Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu who presided over Thursday:s plenary in the absence of his principal, Dr. Bukola Saraki, it was immediately approved.

As the national convention of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) draws close, member representing Okitipupa/Irele Federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon Mike Omogbehin has warned against further crisis as a result of conflict of interest.
Speaking with Yawadeyonline in Abuja, the lawmaker expressed fears over the turn of events, where those contesting for National Chairmanship of PDP have increased in South East and South West, allaying fears, it might spur crisis if not managed.

Ahead of the convention, he said, it was better PDP jettisoned individual interest for collective interest, as the party cannot afford another crisis.
“I do not envisage another crisis in PDP because I tell you PDP will not be able to survive it. It is in the best interest that we begin to manage ourselves now and downplay individual interest”, he said.
Emphasising on the Portharcourt aborted convention, the legislator explained that national Chairmanship has already been narrowed to Southwest zone, while expressing dissapointment at the new twist.
“In the aborted Portharcourt convention, my understanding was that the Chairmanship slot has been zoned to the Southwest, but the new theory now’is that it has been zoned to the Southern Nigeria,” he noted.

He called for understanding in the forthcoming convention.
“As at today, if we want to be equitable and get things right in PDP, we should allow Southwest to produce the national Chairman”, he added.
“Havng said that and like I always insist, human and indeeds politicians are not robots, we are bound to agree, we!are bound to agree, we are boinds to negotiate issues.
“The issue of National chairmanship cannot be an exception. As we approach the national convention day, and as it affects the Southern slot, we must do that in line with our laws, constitutions and conventions.
“There are Constitutions that are conventions. There are equitable rules and unwritten agreements and if we follow these, I think we will come out of the woods one more time.
“It therefore means that any body from Southern Nigeria can contest for the Chairmanship position, either from South East or South South can contest and this is certainly not in the best interest of the party.
“South West has never produced PDP chairman and South South has just finished spending six years as President of the country.”

Notorious billionaire kidnapper, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, popularly known as Evans, has asked Justice Hakeem Oshodi of the Ikeja Division of the Lagos State High Court to let him go home on bail.
During the resumption of his kidnapping trial on Friday, November 3, 2017, Evans filed an application seeking to be released on bail and for his case to be given an accelerated hearing by the court.
The lead prosecution counsel, Ms. Titilayo Shitta-Bay, described the bail application, seeking accelerated hearing filed alongside an application seeking to quash the charges as an attempt to frustrate the trial and asked the judge to dismiss it.
During the last court hearing on October 19, Evans changed his initial plea of ‘guilty’ to ‘not guilty’ to the two-count charges of conspiracy and kidnapping.

A Board of Trustee, BoT, member of the All progressives Grand Alliance, AGPA, Mazi Okey Kanu, has given reasons the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, and other groups in the Southeast are agitating for a separate country.
Kanu also gave reasons incumbent governor of Anambra State Willie Obiano should be considered for a second term.
According to him, by voting for Obiano and APGA, a strong ideology of Igbo political cohesion would have been established.
He further advised Ndigbo to shun the idea of an Igbo man becoming the president of Nigeria.
He told Sun, “The youths are crying because of unemployment; if you give the youths employment, they are not going to be talking about IPOB. What they are crying for is ‘give us what to do’ and I believe it is the unemployment issue that is making them to play the active role as the latest advocates for Biafra.
“We have to restructure Nigeria, so that justice and fair play will prevail. The only thing that lasts forever is the truth. Every other thing is a question of time, before they crumble. So we cannot continue to run Nigeria the way it is now.
“From the standpoint of an Igbo man, we must have an umbrella, a political position. It is important to understand that if we do not have a political position, we are not going anywhere. APGA offers that position.

The war of words on Instagram between Controversial on-air personality, Daddy Freeze and Timi Dakolo seems to be far from over.
It all started after Freeze’s disagreement on Timi’s stand on divorce, where he had stated that divorce was a huge blessings to him and should not be condemned
Timi, however, blasted freeze over his comment, telling him he has no right to talk on marriage, describing his teachings on tithe as demonic teachings.
Freeze in reply via his Instagram page @daddyfreeze called Timi a ‘Pulpit puppet’ who is a product of shallow doctrine and only knows how to follow pastors up and down.
“Unlike you, I haven’t waited all my life to respond to you, why should I? Who are you and where’s the sense in what you write or what you stand for?
“You are a product of this same shallow doctrine yourself, the churches you perform at, where do you think they get the money to pay from?
“You speak about marriage, how long you been married for? What do you know? You say I don’t have the right to comment on marriage, who gave you the license to comment?
“I was married for 10 whole years, you dingbat! If I can’t comment on marriage, WHO CAN?
“You call my teachings ‘demonic’, why don’t you back yours up with the Bible? My demonic teachings have full biblical support, how would you know? Do you read your bible?
“You follow pastors like sheep up and down, is it now paining you that they could be giving more gigs to younger artists, and you are now crying on the internet?
Do you think I’m so stupid as not to know what that forlorn dirge you pasted on the internet about (ARE YOU SURE YOU ARE BUILDING YOUR DREAM OR THE PASTOR’S OWN..) stood for?
You say you give tithe and offering to God when you give it to a pastor, is that what God said in Deuteronomy 14:22-26 or in Nehemiah10:38?
Do you have a copy of the Bible at all? I suggest you get yourself one.
“I shouldn’t be educating you, but do read from Matthew 25:32 to know what it takes to “give to God” and ‘pastor’ or ‘man of God’ isn’t in the equation.
“You don’t know shit about my marriage, so you have no right whatsoever to comment on it, I didn’t comment on yours, or how you are handling it, so don’t get personal, your life is far from perfect.
“Typing in caps is shouting your words, NOT YOUR MESSAGE, which remains as vacuous as the writer.
“You lost respect for me? I never had any for you! Sorry, but I’m not big on pulpit puppets.
“Maybe if you spent more time writing music than writing for the blogs, more kids won’t be wondering “who’s timi dakolo?” Freeze wrote via his instagram page @daddyfreeze

American former professional boxer, Larry Holmes, has advised Anthony Joshua to engage in regular sex to be a heavyweight legend.
