Billyonaire: Have you traveled to Ghana before, its just Accra and Kumasi, the rest of the places are like villages. What country with a population of Lagos, has just 2 major cities and dares the very country whose citizens invest massively in their economy. Thats very uncalled for in diplomatic cycles.

Of cause Nigerian should have more cities! There are 160 million of you. Nigerian have more cities than Denmark, Sweden, Finland Norway etc. Does that
make Nigeria better than these countries? The point is in the town that I live in called Sunyani, we have a population of 80,000, the lights go off maybe once a month for some few hours, I walk through my streets even at midnight without fear of armed robbers, kidnappers, terrorists, with the street lights always on. The place is clean and water flows all day (maybe once every two months it goes off). Is this not better than a city of 25 million made of kdnappers, armed robbers, terrorists, generator sounds, traffic choas and non-existing security force? I mean do you know what quality of life is? It has nothing to do with the size of your city!

This is a nation where a cool 70% of the population live in poverty (that is about 120 million people), this is a nation where 12% of newborns die before their 5th birthday. A nation which piratically have no national power grid, a nation where crime and murder is among the top 5 in the world, a nation of boko harams, a nation that gave the world 419, one of the only three nations still with polio epidemic (the other two are india & pakistan) , a nation where 70% of budget allocations is stolen, a nation whose name is synonymous with something dodgy....the list won't fit. I have no hate towards Nigeria, I worked with many Nigerians here in Ghana and I generally had no problem with them (Except that they generally didn't trust anyone, something very unusual in Ghana, but I know where they were coming from and also they are always holding their phone chargers around thinking the lights would go off! But they were in Ghana). Ghana have it's own problems and we admit it and we are trying to overcome them but I hear from Nigerians like the one above and I would be forgiving to think Nigeria is Switzerland.

I don't know where you get your joke from. I guess you have problem with the English language or you have problem understanding slightly complex issues. Firstly Calbank, SSB,Fedelity are all Ghanaian. Barlays, Ecobank and Stanchart are partly Ghanaian owned. Secondly The argument was about whether Nigerian banks dominate Ghana, which I provided a list of top 10 banks in ghana of which non is Nigerian. I did in anyway say that all the banks on the list were Ghanaian. I said non is Nigerian. By the way, how much did you pay for your degree? We know Nigerian degrees are sold.

I will be the most surprised if Nigeria indeed gives Billions in aid, looking at the fact that 90 million Nigerians live in poverty(about 50% of population), No reliable power supply, no social services, appalling health care facilities etc etc. Can you give specific examples, say we gave 1 billion to that country at this date. The only "help" I know we get from Nigeria is is oil, which we pay in dollars at international prices.

Ghana is no match for Lagos, and it has been like that since the beginning of time - just as the Ashanti empire was no match for yoruba empire. Ghana needs to stop that short man syndrome; and start competing with countries in their league. They can start with Togo, Liberia, Guinea, Burkina Faso, Niger and Chad. Senegal and Ivory coast don't even belong in the same league as Ghana.
