It's a rough market out there currently.. especially for pennies getting hit the hardest during this pullback, everything can easily recover on Monday or it could even take several months. I've seen it too many times before.. market makers will move prices down in a slow and painful grind that never seems to end and once enough investors finally get scared and decide to sell.. guess what happens next?? Everything recovers in less than 1 or 2 days.. That's why it's absolutely crucial that you keep your emotions in check and remain calm. This is a completely normal pullback and those who have the patience will be rewarded in the end.. just like the 50000 previous pullbacks in the last few decades |
posty56:One thing I have learnt is this market is patience is a big currency. |
- If you don’t earn money, you won’t know it’s value. - If you don’t plan, the money you earn will hold no value. |
The Market: Futures down as of now, towards end of day yesterday the market had a slight pullback and SPY bounced right off key support at $389. If doesn’t open over $389, there’s a chance we could see SPY consolidate between $389 and $385 until one breaks, choosing direction. Short term most important resistance level is getting back over $389, and has short term support at $385 and ~$383 Right now since market can still be really volatile, I’m not being too aggressive buying-wise since I bought so heavy during the dip. If market continues to go up this week will look take profits on a good amount of positions. Volatility will continue imo Swing Plays for Today: *Reminder: my buy/sell alerts is just what I’m doing and should just be used for ideas. Not every entry/exit will be perfect timing. $BFI: likely to test resistance trendline again soon and has potential for a huge breakout above. Is now up to almost a 50% short float and float of 1.7m shares so will move super fast on breakout $TTD: filling gap up towards $840, watching $825 to hold as new support $MPLN: at long term wedge support, if it can bounce off this level (support around $7), could see upside on bounce towards $9 $API: Bounce off support today, establishing new support at $65 and if it can break and hold above $70, has upside back towards $90 $RKT: broke wedge pattern and having short squeeze on breakout. If it can break above $26.5, should see upside towards $28-30 where i’m looking to take profits at $PLTR: short term support at $23 and resistance at $25. Needs to break above $25 and hold that level for move back up to $28 and then $32 as targets. Good place to add would be back at $23 support or when it confirms break above $25 $XL: looking strong for reversal, bounced off $14 as support and now testing first resistance at $15.5. Could be a quick mover back to $20 $THMO: has a 35% short float and market cap of only $25m. Finding support at major moving averages and $2.70 as support level. Watching for reversal play and potential for breakout and short squeeze $VISL: forming cup & handle pattern, has huge breakout potential on a break back over $5. Establishing support at $3 |

Question: When you pick up a company financial report for analysis, what are 5 things you first lookout for? Answer 1. The Industry and the future. 2. Quality of Board & Management. 3. Products or/and Services. 4. Research and Thinking. 5. Processes and Processing. It really depends on what kind of industry the company financial statements represent. I always look at cash and other short-term investments versus accounts and notes payable. You want to make sure they can pay the bills. That would be the same in any industry. However, from there you need to know what industry. For instance, if the company is a manufacturing concern you'd want to look at sales versus gross profit. Are the margins healthy for the type of product they are selling? Do they fit with industry norms? If not, is there a possible reason? On the balance sheet is there one large asset that is requiring a large mortgage? That means they are not as flexible. If you want to get in depth you can look at different ratios such as the current ratio, quick ratio, inventory turnover and accounts receivable turnover. Do web searches on these ratios to get the formulas. |
Time in the market, beats timing the market. If the market is booming, you are scared of getting in at the top; if it is depressed you are scared that you would be investing into a downward trend. Good-quality companies with real businesses – and sustainable earnings and dividends – will never fail to recover from their lows. ------------------ It’s time to take charge of your life! |

The world is a sh!t show right now, change it up, pay it forward, be the reason for someone to have hope in us today. And you don’t need to tell the world about it either. It is for you and them. Breaking down limit orders: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ In order to buy or sell an investment, you need to place an order to buy or sell. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ There are a handful of order types out there that you can use, including limit orders. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ With a limit order, you specify a target price (limit price) that you want to buy or sell the shares at ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The order only goes through if you receive the limit price you stated or better and there weren’t too many people ahead of you that placed the same exact order. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So if you place a limit order to buy, the order will only go through if you receive the limit price or lower. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If you place a limit order to sell, the order only goes through if you sell at the limit price or higher. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Limit orders can be placed as day orders or Good-til-cancelled (GTC) orders. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If you place one of these orders, you need to be comfortable with the fact that there is no guarantee the order will be filled. |
Why bonds go DOWN when yields go UP ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Bonds are an “IOU” investment. When you invest in a bond, you’re basically acting like a bank and loaning your money to a corporation, government, etc ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The main way that you make money through bonds is through interest, just like banks make money off of you by charging you interest on a mortgage, etc ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Every day, new bonds are coming, with new yields (interest rates) compared to the yields of the bonds that came out before them ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Just like stocks fluctuate in value, bonds do too. The main reason that bonds go up or down in value is changes in interest rates. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If “new” bonds come out with higher yields, the “old” bonds are seen as less valuable by the market because they pay you less in interest than the “new bonds”. Because they are seen as less valuable, the “old” bonds fall in value due to supply & demand. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ And vice-versa. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Even if you don’t own them in your portfolio, you should understand what bonds are, how they work and how changes in yields can affect your portfolio and the economy (like we’re seeing now) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ As a reminder, PLEASE do not forget to use the link on my signature to register on Trove we both get FREEEEEEEEEEEEEE shares |
Looking beyond dividend yield: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Inexperienced investors make the mistake of falling for “yield traps”, meaning they invest in stocks that have abnormally high dividend yields. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Unusually high dividend yields usually mean that either the stock price has tanked or the company is paying dividends at a rate that is not sustainable ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ That’s where the dividend payout ratio comes in handy. It measures the % of a company’s profits that get paid out to owners as dividends ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Keep in mind, different industries have different standards/averages for dividends, so you want to compare apples to apples. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But in general, a very high payout ratio is not a good sign because it means most of the company’s earnings are being paid out as dividends. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If the ratio is 1 or higher it means the company is paying 100% or more of its profits in the form of dividends, which is not sustainable. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ As always, make sure you review all of the other financials/fundamentals and make sure you understand the investment before putting your money at risk. |

Well, many of you just buy stocks without having any form of strategy. This is not a game, and it’s not a casino. Have a plan before you get any stock. Have a plan of what to do if it’s not going your way. Have a plan of what to do, if it’s going your way. Stocks don’t always go up! Regardless of what you hear from the crowd, own your mind. Perform your due diligence. Always!!! |

The Market: Futures up huge as of now, S&P up 0.95%, Nasdaq up 1.3%, Dow up 0.78%, and Russell 2k (small cap index) up 1.80%. Resistance levels to watch for on SPY are at $385.5, $389. Short term support levels to watch are at $378, $380, $381. Like i’ve been saying, it’s important not to get overly bullish or bearish on this market. If futures hold at these levels into market, it’ll likely be a very green day for almost everything. Just because it’s a green start to the week doesn’t mean that it’s a change in the overall trend. We could see a lower-high sequence form and then continue downtrend, or if we break resistance levels and get over $390 we could easily see all-time highs soon as well. Just be prepared for anything and always keep cash on hand. Swing Plays for Today: *Reminder: my buy/sell alerts is just what I’m doing and should just be used for ideas. Not every entry/exit will be perfect timing. $DM: oversold & sitting at $20 support. If it holds and reverses off this level, watching $22 as next resistance level, and a break above $22 can give it a quick run back to the high $20’s. Also one that may be included in new ARK etf $CRSP: oversold play, has first support at $110. Likely for a strong reversal on green day and on a break of downtrend, looking for a bounce back up to $140-160 range. Same setup on other genomics plays as well (EDIT for ex.), good chance for reversal in overall sector $BIGC: sitting right at support, had strong earnings this past week, and showing bullish divergence on the RSI. Strong reversal setup as long as support holds at $58 $API: same thesis I’ve had as long as support at $60 holds. Recently had strong earnings, catalyst in potential clubhouse deal. Targeting $70 as initial target on reversal with lots of upside potential above $WMT: heavily oversold, at $130 support. Targeting $135 on reversal and expecting a big bounce here. No reason for the sell-off, love options on this name as well, under 30% IV so very cheap options $PEP: same thesis as WMT - cheap option play, oversold sitting at support. These large ‘dividend aristocrat’ companies rarely ever get oversold if you look at historical charts. When they do, always results in a quick bounce back $TRIT: perfect entry in the low $7’s for swing setup. Still targeting $10 as first target and i’ll be looking to add at these levels $RIDE: oversold after WKHS deal blew up (they have a stake in wkhs). Nearing strong support at $18 $CLOV: one of the most oversold & disrespected stocks in the entire market. Has earnings Today after-hours, if they impress (very likely imo), we could see a quick move back to the $12 range. Will break falling wedge soon and when it does, likely will be off to the races imo $PLTR: bounce off support at $23, first resistance at $25 and a break and hold above that level would be key for full reversal back to $30. Setup nicely for mid/long swing as long as support holds $NIO: bounce off support at $44, another one that has earnings after-hours on Today. On a beat, we could see a quick run back to $50. If earnings were to disappoint, next support below $44 is at $40 Day Trade Setups for Today: *Reminder: Day-Trading is very risky and only for those who understand the risks and how to read technical analysis! $WKHS: Long Above 16.75 Targets: 17, 17.34, 17.43, 18, 18.35 Short Below 15.98 Targets: 15.78, 15.59, 15.31, 15, 14.75, 14.44 $AMC: Long Above 9 Targets: 9.20, 9.46, 9.60, 10, 10.50, 10.98 Short Below 8.75 Targets: 8.50, 8.39, 8.26, |

Increase your income -The way to save a lot of money is to either increase your income or cut your expenses. But for this example let's imagine you have a high cash-flow source of income. If you were to care what other people say or think about you, you will most likely spend some money to buy new shoes or a new car -But here comes the part where we all can improve, we need to always remember that we don't need to be showing off anything to anyone. We need to keep in mind that those people don't really care about us, the same way we don't really should care about their opinion about us. -That's the secret to saving ridiculous amounts of money. Are you going to do something about it or just like the post and forget it? It all comes down to what you do. Love you guys, keep hustling, and stay safe. |

The key to successful investing is understanding what exactly you are looking at when you look through charts and analyze growth. This is a cheat sheet on how to read stock candles. Mostly green and red candles are the same with one minor change. Red candles show the close at the bottom and the open at the top. Therefore, green opens at the bottom and closes at the top. This is an informative post! I do not take responsibility for any trades that your take or losses incurred. Trade at your own risk and be sure to do your due diligence researching each stock you invest in! |
