I think this is pessimistic. I think it is a possibility that post Brexit Britain may be more fair to Nigerians. Do I think they will take more immigrants. No. Do I think there is a possibility of fairer visa distribution once the EU citizens lose their privileged status. Yes. pansophist: One of the main reason for Brexit is immigration, as the British fear that they've lost control of their border, and the only way to regain it back among other things, is to withdraw from the EU treaty. With such foundation, it is inconceivable to loosen immigration with common wealth citizens, given that most common wealth countries are not on equal terms economically, politically and GDP with the UK.
No, I do not foresee an easy Visa access to the UK post Brexit. |

Can we not agree to split without hating each other Indigenous: Fighting for freedom is the work of every Biafra's not only Nnamdi kanu .my fellow Biafra's. if you study Yoruba history very well, you will see this people have already been cursed by their fellow Yoruba who they betray back then.the man placed a curse on the Yoruba race that the only thing they will be good at is gossiping, backbiting, wickedness, evil and many unimaginable things.Yoruba people don't have any brain to do anything on their own, they want all of us to remain in a visionless country called nizooria so that they can continue their generation curse/talent of gossip and backbiting on us.my fellow Biafra's He be like say Hausa/Fulani terrorist tribe and their Yoruba gossipers tribe can't survived without Igbo in their hell fire called nizooria because the way they attack Igbo on Biafra issue is getting out of hand |

You think we will eventually split wowcatty: Nice try conditioning the minds of the gullible but not so fast, there's no difference between the system the English left with us and the one they practice themselves. And sovereignty is exactly what it says. Nigeria is not using the constitution we all agreed on, what is being used is military decree and it's within the regions rights to break free now since all agreements have been broken and it's just a matter of courage for the "geographical expression area" to break. For example, if millions of Yoruba youths can hit the streets of Yorubaland and cripple all activities for weeks and invite journalists from across the world to cover it life. How many can Nigeria soldiers kill on cameras before we have international "peacekeeping forces" at our doorsteps? That exactly what is in the works as a group is bringing the world attention to why liberation needs to come to Yorubaland. That Nigeria can't divide is a wishful thinking, there's nothing in this world bound by any law that can hold people against their will when ready or force them to be with others especially when the agreement has been broken. |

Uncivilised to call for national freedom. This seems like thinly veiled tribalism orisa37: Britain out = Brexit. Meaningful. Biafra would have international meaning as "Igbexit or Ibexit"(Ibo or Igbo out). Simply Biafra is unconstitutional, uncontractual, unconventional, illegal, uncivilised and completely allien. |

Why not let the Igbo go then Preshy561: Tell your kinsmen to stop antagonizing our struggle, we have always wanted to stay on our own. Ebonyi is there for us in terms of agriculture, Imo and Enugu, den of entertainment and tourism, Anambra and Abia, China of Africa, you see, we've got nothing to fear. So, we can't be working on a fruitless country. |

You feel like Biafran referendum would go the same was as the Brexit referendum? Opexzy: Brexit isn't about freedom... European union (i mean the rest of the countries in EU) benefits from United Kingdom and United Kingdom benefit from them as well... This is more like a mutual benefit...
People only clamor for freedom when they are in slavery. In the case of Brexit. It's more like a divorce
Brexit is more like a contract termination and you know contracts are bounded by agreements..
Even the case of Biafra can not be likened to that of the United Kingdom because every nation in the UK are bounded by an act that is boldly represented in the constitution therefore can be separated by same act in the constitution...
In the case of biafra there is no constitution binding the regions... Our constitution was created after the amalgamation in 1914... So we started as a sovereign state together. The major issue now is simply because none of the regions exhibit total sovereignty before amalgamation. This is the major reason while any advocacy for a breakup can be treated as treasonous by the federal government |

You dont think they are the same kind of struggle for freedom? Opexzy: Nope... They are two different thing... One was a voluntary union with very great prospect and explainable reasons... While the other is a union based on our colonial masters selfish interest to bring their colony into a union |
