my engine looks exactly like that.

it was the Crank Position Sensor that had problem - my new mechanic confirms this

thanks for the education.

1. the car was manufactured in 2002

2. the car does not refuse to start occassionally. It start immediately. Even if I travel on a long journey it will start immediately you put on the ignition.

3. The car cut off on the highway (top gear/top speed) randomly and unpredictably

my honda civic millenium model suddenly stop while you are on top speed and it will take a while before it will start after that.
Initially it will stop after about 5 mins when air conditioner is switch on , now even when the air conditioner is not in use,
the car will still stop suddenly
