And also list which software you support and plug-ins included (ex. 3DS MAX 2012 + Vray etc)
Also get ftp for transfer of render files remotely, instead of "bring your laptop" approach.

My broda, touch-not your lapi, if you want it to still be useful to you later on. laptop components are usually built into the main-board from the factory. You cant upgrade individual parts unless you buy a new board. Goto compu-ville, Ikeja and ask a good engineer to assist you with laptop upgrade.

my point exactly, case closed and dismissed! go to cgsociety and see that 80% of their work is done with 3ds max, but if you go to blender you still find awesome jobs there.

cgsociety isn't the only site for 3d graphics, there are millions out there & many also feature c4d renders

i mean look at this thread or any c4d thread on the forum. all i see is people arranging premade stuff and hitting render.

modeling isn't the only aspect of CG, there's lighting, texturing, rigging, etc why are your comments based on only modeling skills? Besides you shouldn't judge the software based on who's using it.

Thats not logical because u cant compare a screw driver to a power drill OR a shovel to a caterpillar. You will get the same results either way both one is easier & more versatile than the other. And that is what we are talking here.
Besides if every software was the same like you say & only the user matters, then why not have just only one software? Why should we have so many when it doesnt matter.

cinema 4d's node-based interface makes it work better for me, you can perform a task in just a few steps in c4d that would take the whole afternoon and a degree in c++ to do in MAX . I can even run it on a lapi or a cyber-cafe pc, because it isn't hardware intensive.

Un-like 3ds max that [b]demands [/b]you go & spend ur lifes savings on a quad-core pc b4 it can render a decent scene.

For me I think the real killer is Mograph plugin for cinema4d, nothing beats it!
