Ibadan is not expensive but not cheap either especially house rent. A room self con in an estate is about 1m naira while normal area is between 150k & above

I stay in Ibadan too, Apete area. I barb twice weekly and suddenly my barber jacked up the price to N1000, making it over N8000 monthly for barbing my hair. I sharperly turned to a barber and started barbing my hair myself with a shaving stick, not a clipper o. My haircut is skin cut, no stile. Even my barber thinks I changed to another barber shop and has been trying to beg me to come back. Everyone must be an economist in this tinubu government. Cost of barbing my hair now is about N50 as I use the N150 shaving stick 3 times before I discard it.

There seems to be no end in sight to the incessant increase in the cost of virtually everything in Nigeria, from transportation cost, housing, food and worst redundant Salary.

Imagine taken your nephews or children to have a nice hair cut which was #100 four years ago, #150 two years ago and #200 just last year before Christmas. Only to see that the haircut you'll still return to in max 3weeks is now #400.

How do Average Nigerians survive? Those with four to six children? Those on minimum wage

Yet people who were vocal in the past years against inflation and bad government has gone mute. What is really happening in Nigeria.

Have Nigerians adapted to surviving and just taking anything from the people they voted in power

If I remember to snap this Friday, I go snap n send my barber price list to you (just moderate posh barber shop o) no AC, na just steriliser and other necessary equipments e get for you to think seyaybe na high class barber shop make the price be 1k

I don't blame them, how many hair dem wan cut per day compared to cost of a plate of fufu. Ogunfe for mama put place now 1k naira so to prevent at a plate of pounded yam with just 1 ogunfe will cost you 1800 which is about 5 children hair cut

A friend of mine borrowed my car few days ago to help ease movement for him. I happily gave him the car because I understood the need he had.

For precautionary reasons, I don't let my fuel get below quarter tank. Each time it gets there, i ensure I top it up.

When I gave this guy my key, I told him clearly to ensure he adds enough fuel as he's leaving my place and not to allow the fuel guage gets below quarter.

My car spent some days with him. he brought back the car and complained that my car has stopped on the way several times and each time it stops, he'd have to buy a little fuel and add before it moves.

Second, he brought back the car with scratches on my front bumper. I learned from someone that he had moved on terrible roads with the car. I was told he went to places that other people had parked because their vehicles can't enter.

I asked how much fuel he bought and he told me he bought a few litres of fuel. This got me furious because this is a journey that if I am to go, I'd have to buy over 40L of fuel.

Third, he brought it back with a faulty fuel gauge, my fuel gauge has never been faulty since I bought my car. It was not possible for me to know the fuel level at the time he returned the car.

I had to go fix my car because I had a need to go somewhere with it. My mechanic opened to tank to check why the car was stopping as well as the fuel gauge. To my surprise, my tank was terribly empty. It was dry.

I had to buy so much fuel as well as fix the fuse of the fuel gauge. As for the scratches, I will have to leave them like that. The funny thing is that my friend cannot even tell me he is sorry.

I have resolved in my mind, I WILL NEVER GIVE ANYBODY MY CAR AGAIN. NO.
ITS ONLY ME THAT CAN TAKE CARE OF MY CAR. I AM THE ONE MAINTAINING IT AND I KNOW EHERE IT PAINS.

what do you think about this?
Do you give out your car to your friends to use especially in this hard economy where fuel, maintenance and cost of parts are on the high side.

Never give your car to anybody no matter whatever

I have my car to a neighbour to take his sibling to the hospital but ended up denting at the back ever since then, I rather drive you to wherever to wanna go as long as am free (emergency only sha o)
