Is there any statement by the Christian Association of Nigeria on the new development on this tax issue yet? I'm awaiting the declaration of their efforts so far in ensuring Nigerians are not shortchanged in this tax matter.


The matter is simple, he taxed Lagos state to stupor and enforce his Alpha-Beta to be in charge. The assessment of what an average Lagos resident get from the government is what an average Nigerians will get from this also of it's allowed to sail through.

I've always known that this man will sink more Nigerians into poverty by his inhumane policies which is just about politics and wealth amassment for himself and his cronies

The tax bill is an attempt to frustrated an already frustrated Nigerians

Let Manufacturing companies, importers, refineries, recycling companies, & other big companies be taxed. Everybody needs these manufacturing companies afterall nobody escape buying sachet or bottle water. If only these people tax, it will be single digit. The present format will end up eating up people's meagre income with tax. Tell me why I should pay tax on personal income and when I shop in the supermarket, I still pay another tax. When I make calls buying recharge cards from already taxed income, government still taxed me

The whole tax structure is a complete mess that needs to be cleaned up asap. Nigerians dont earn enough to be taxed!

If importers pay tax, it will be spread on the selling price

Ibadan system has no stability as kings are so frequently installed. Well, kings today are just for ceremonial, otherwise the city wouldn't have progress at all if they keep installing new leader every one to three years

In the olden days, kings are well respected but they've used politics to bastardise kingship especially in Yorubaland which is very bad.
