I'm highly motivated by the depth of knowledge I feel around this section, I av been following this thread for quite sumtime naw (since my undergraduate yrs). big ups to Ajanle koko, oyb and a host of others. I'm a recent graduate of elect/elect eng. with first class honors (to be realistic, errything we learnt in sch seems so abstract). I did my six months internship in a 1man telecomms infrastructure company (very annoying /NO structure), so basically I had a lil insight into BTS installations, Microwave installation, linking sites, rectifiers etc etc, I attended a Grintek rectifier trainin during that period. I also took part in a Zain colocation project for the compny whre I had to climb a lotta towers, hmmn.

Really, in school I had to major in power (no ineterst) cos we did not really have chance to choose, imagine, (my major interest was control systems) anyways, im curretly awaiting nysc and im considerin doin an holiday jab in a control and automation coy that services the oil and gas sector in phc for close to nothin (as in pay wise), all cos of experience. I also have a chance of continuing a pre nysc jab whre i did my IT nd they re offerin me an alcatel BTS integrtion training in senegal.

I must say, I have a huge craving for oil and gas **wink wink** uno the big pays, lol,

Plsssssssssssss I need advices from professionals in the house as to which is best and to define a gud career path. masters, the relevant coys, etc etc.
wink smiley smiley smiley smiley smiley
