D lawyer said I ll pay #5000 b4 I can get d approval letter n scratchcard so wat is surprising me is dat how come lawyer ll collect 5000 Wen av not been given a job and I ll still travel to calabar for their training, dey said dat d pay fee is to given me d approval letter so dat I ll be allow into d camp for d training. So pls help me out, other people re free to talk concerning these.

From the link I sent, the min amount for a single applicant is about 12000 canadian dollars. I think that should be almost 2 million naira. That's the amount you have to show in your account while submitting your application.

It depends on your family size. Check this link for the minimum amount you have to keep on your account. You will be expected to bring the money with you to Canada when Landing cos they might ask.

Hi Snezy,

CIC will not tell you to keep the money for 6 months but in the requirement for POF after ITA you will be asked to submit a letter from you bank showing the start dates, current balances and 6 months average balances of all your accounts.
The only reason they ask for this is to compare your average balance with your current balance. If the difference between the 2 is high, they will assume you borrowed the money. The only way out will be to write a letter of explanation on why you have the high difference.
