Reasons To Apply For Jamb Change Of Institution In 2018 1. Not Scoring Up To Or More Than Jamb Cut Off Mark: Every Jamb candidate usually have the dream of scoring above 300. However, this doesn’t work for everybody in reality. If you scored less than the general cut off mark for your school of choice, you will not be admitted. On the other hand, If you score around the Jamb cut off mark, you may also not get admitted as a result of competition. This is a good reasons to change your course or school of choice. 2. Lost Of Interest In The Study Course Or Institution: Some candidates say, “I don’t want to study in the University I chose earlier, in fact, I have lost interest in the choice of course I put in during Jamb registration.” This could be that you never liked the school or your parents asked you to change the course. In addition, it could just be that you have a Jamb score that can take you to a better school. 3. You Made A Mistake When Filling Jamb Form And Subject Combinations: So many persons reported to me that the wrong institution was chosen for them during registration. For others, they had issues in their Jamb subject combinations and could not fix it when Jamb gave room for correction of details. If this is your situation you may want to change to your desired institution. Change of course and institution form gives you room to do this. STORIES THAT TOUCH: THE TRAGEDY OF A BLIND DAMSEL (PART 1) ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• INTRODUCTION: One could begin with humility, love and the reward therein. One might even begin to hate the world where vanity and lust swallow men like as lion swallow its prey. But Cindy did not notice these - instead she acted in ignorance, oblivious to nature. This is a very interesting story that will surely change your life at the end. Episode 1 - The Birth Of A Blind Girl A couple had a female child. She was so beautiful that everyone admired her. She is the real definition of what anyone may call pretty. Her beauty made many people (especially newly married couples who were still making babies) to became victims of envy and jealousy. NARRATOR: I have never seen any child as beautiful as she. In fact, I would have given a different definition of beauty if not that I took a record of this story. Then, something very unfortunate happened. It came to their realisation that the child was blind. "Am very sure that blindness is not in my blood or that of my siblings" Mr obi (The child's father) stated while lamenting. After some time, the little child was given a name according to their tradition - CINDY. Episode 2 - CINDY STRIVES TO EARN A LIVING NARRATOR: Cindy's parents made me think of that quote which says thus: Life is difficult for everyone; everyone has bad days. Everyone has trouble in their life, because it doesn't matter how rich you are: Sickness and trouble and worry and love, these things will mess with you at every level of life. - Domhnall Gleeson As Cindy was growing up, her parents were getting tired of her. They sees her to be a burden. So, they (the parents) decided to teach her the way of life. In order for her to cater for her needs. They taught her to beg by the road side. Cindy Started Begging at Six (6 years old). Cindy adapted the attitude of crying loud out whenever she perceived that people were passing by . NARRATOR: Cindy's attitude reminds me of BLIND BARTIMAOUS whom Jesus healed in the bible - MARK 10:46 . Cyndy had to beg everyday in order to survive. Sometimes she would have to cry to attract the attention of people passing by. Despite all these, no one would think of helping the poor girl. They (people) had preferred to give her tokens than to take her to their homes or even offer any manner of help. Episode 3 - ANOTHER MYSTERY BEGINS At the same time, there was another mystery happening in the other part of the world. A couple had a son. He was very ugly , to the extent that he was hated by everyone who sees him. His ugliness could even make a person lose his appetite. NARRATOR: Shall I compare him to the world's ugliest man? Of course NO! He is worst. Shall I compare him to a monster? Almost NO! He is even worst. To what then shall I compare him? I have never seen any child as ugly as he. In fact, I would have given a different definition of ugliness if not that I took a record of his own part of the story. Everyone hated Kito (the ugly child). But something very unfortunate happened; His parents died. Then, Kito was rejected by both his family and the people surrounding him. Even though he was very young. He became an outcast and then went into the forest....... TO BE CONTINUED.............. *STORY: THE TWO BROTHERS IN THE PATHWAY TO SUCCESS AND THE TRAGEDY* •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• |••Episode 1••| Ijogu and Nweke were childhood friends. They worked very hard to survive. Though, they were hardworking men , they were still very poor. A poor man could at least take his 3 square meal everyday, but theirs (Ijogu and Nweke) were beyond mere poverty. One could say that *"Their poverty is a course"* Another viewer sympathetically said that *"They (Ijogu and Nweke) inherited the poverty from their forefathers"* At a point, I began to reason within myself saying; *Why could these men not steal or even participate in Ungodly acts?* They were mocked and persecuted by fellow villagers. Even our modern religious members could no longer tolorate them. Gods time is the best only Jesus can save. One day, the story of a certain King in a certain land were told. *"It first sounds like the words of a mad man"*. That very day, the two men (Ijogu and Nweke ) discussed thus as they were going home: Ijogu: *"What a foolish story told by an old man? About a king who makes people rich. Could that ever be possible? "* Nwaeke: *" Am thinking of something brother; this may be our chance of becoming rich... What if we travel to the town where the king lives?"* So the two men agreed to travel to the land - a far distance from their town (village), they have already decided to take whatever life may present (either good or bad.). *************"****"********* Episode 2 At the King's Palace King Soko, the head of the town welcomes his guests. And the conversation goes thus: King Soko: To what do I owe your visit oh ye men of Sinai? Ijogu: *" Your Majesty, we came all they way from our land to receive your blessing as you have blessed others."* Nwaeke: *"Ye ...yee...yes , your Majesty, bless us."* King Soko: *"O ye men of Sinai, What shall I give unto thee? I have nothing, but what I have I shall offer you, please accept it with all your heart. "* The King gave them loaves of bread. And they left. ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• ||Episode 3 On their way home, Nwaeke was very angry that he wanted to throw away the bread , but Ijogu collected the bread from him and kept them inside his "Ghana must go " bag. Nwaeke left him on the way and went home very angry. Ijogu, on getting home, he opened the bag... Alas!!! It was filled with gold, silver, riches, etc.... Nwaeke could have been blessed also, but out of Anger and Impatience he gave away his possession...... I pray for somebody reading this story..... You shall not give away you possession in the name of Jesus..... Amen... *Lesson: [ Proverbs 14:29] Whoever is patient has great understanding, but one who is quick-tempered displays folly. * |

https://az630293.vo.msecnd.net/messages/deliverance-of-the-feet-ic-small.jpg ABOUT THIS MESSAGE In this message, Dr. D.K. Olukoya continues the series Deliverance of the Feet and explains how the combination of violent faith and violent prayer can bring about lasting solution to stubborn problems. Enjoy! In Matt. 17:20: And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to younder place; and it shall remove: and nothing shall be impossible unto you KJV, American Edition The power of faith can make something completely impossible possible. Like I have been saying at Wednesday services: no conflict, no peace; no violence, no victory; no fight, no progress; no action, no contentment; no aggression, no possession; no war, no enlargement; no battle, no breakthroughs. The battle line is drawn whether you believe it or not. People only throw stones at mango trees with fruits. So, if the enemy is attacking you, it's a good sign because it means there's something still precious in your life which they are contesting for. It is now your turn to employ the weapon God has given you to enlarge your coast and possess your possession. Violent faith is desperate faith; it is persistent faith; it sees that there is nothing beyond its ability; it cannot be threatened or intimidated by people; it will make every effort to cross every barrier standing in its way; it understands that God is awesome and mighty; it is a mountain confronter; a mountain remover. I pray for you that the mountains that have been boasting against your destiny shall scatter in the name of Jesus. Violent faith is holy expentancy; it is deaf to doubt; it is deaf to discouragment; it is blind to impossibility; it knows nothing, but success in God. I want you to move into this realm of violent faith Violent faith wins the war even before the battle begins. The bible is a David and Goliath book: if you decide to be a Goliath, you die. If you decide to be a David, you win. The bible tells you that no matter the strength of your enemy, you don't have to be as big as the enemy. All you need is the stone and faith of David. The battle had not started when David told Goliath, today, I will kill you, cut off yur head, and feed it to the birds of the air. You come against me in the name of your god, but I come against you in the name of the Lord of hosts whom you have defiled. David had already won the battle before the fight had even begun. Violent faith is non-negotiable faith. It reaches above all cirumstances created by the enemy. The logic of violent faith is not from earth, but from heaven. That is why the bible says if any of you shall say unto the mountain, be thou removed and be cast into the sea and would not doubt in his heart... it shall be so. Violent faith looks to God instead of negative circumstances. It smiles when the stormy sea is almost sinking the boat. It mocks the mockers. It subdues the roar of the lion. This is the realm of faith that will bring you uncommon testimonies. In Matt. 11:12: And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force KJV, American Edition Violent prayer coupled with violent faith gives you uncommon breakthroughs. Violent prayer is persistent prayer. It is unshakeable, insistent. It is adamant prayer; stubborn prayer; enough-is-enough prayer; unapologetic prayer, that is, prayers you pray without regret; bold prayer, that is, fearless with courage to demand a response; unwavering prayer; steadfast prayer. It has just one goal: ELIMINATION OF THE ENEMY. Violent prayer is aggressive prayer, that is, hard-hitting and bold. It is demanding prayer, that is, pressing for immediate response; it is expectant prayer filled with aggressive anticipation of victory; it is militant prayer, that is, combative and fighting prayer; compelling prayer; urgent prayer; persevering prayer; prayer to give God no alternative but to answer; it is machine gun prayer; prayer that gives Jehovah no peace; undeviating prayer; obstinate prayer; seizeless prayer and heaven bombarding prayer. When you combine violent faith and violent prayer, there would be healing. When these two things are combined, there would be restoration. Storms will be silenced. There would be deliverance from trouble. There will be a scattering of the enemy... Many legs have been programmed to fail. Many think they have feet, but they don't. Physically they have feet, but spiritually the feet are gone. Physically, they walk about, but spiritually they are not walking anywhere. |

SEARCH Daily Post Nigeria Daily Post Nigeria EDUCATION2018 UTME candidates will get good grades – JAMBPublished on March 19, 2018 By Wale Odunsi National Coordinator, JAMB Equal Opportunity Group, Prof. Peter Okebukola, says the 2018 UTME (Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination) exercise will produce good results. Okebukola, a fomer Executive Secretary, National Universities Commission (NUC), said this on Monday as 127 visually impaired candidates in Southwest commenced their exam the Distance Learning Institute of the University of Lagos (UNILAG). The results are expected to be released on Tuesday on JAMB portal www.jamb.org.ng His group is responsible for administering the 2018 UTME to both the prisoners and the blind candidates nationwide. Not less than 340 visually impaired candidates registered for the examination nationwide. In a chat with NAN, Okebukola noted that already the group had on Saturday conducted the examination for those in the prisons. He said the visually impaired candidates listed for the examination nationwide have been assembled in “high grade hotels” with very good feeding and transportation arrangements and other logistics that would make them feel comfortable before and after the examination. He noted that the two-day examination (March 19 and March 20) would be taken through the dictation mode as was obtained in 2017. “For now, they will have to make do with the dictation mode as the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), organisers of the examination, is working towards a suitable CBT mode soon”, he said. “The software we have now that comes with the Braille Note Apex machine is not Nigerian enough for their comprehension. “So, we are developing a software that will have a Nigerian inbuilt intonation. “We are hopeful that before the commencement of the 2019 UTME, we would gave moved quite far in the development of the software”. According to the former NUC scribe, this year’s examination generally had been adjudged more successful when compared to what obtained in 2017 in terms of logistics and quality. The don said: “When I talk of the quality of the examination, I am talking in terms of the manner of presentation through this platform. “We expect that the candidates will come out with good grades and those who are successful in both the UTME and the Post UTME and meet the criteria for placements into universities of their choices would have equal opportunity as their sighted counterparts. “And that is why we in the Equal Opportunity Group are deploying all resources available to us in ensuring that equal opportunity is given to all regardless of any form of disability and I think the larger society should also toe this path.” |

Story: WHAT YOU SOW IS WHAT YOU REAP. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• A couple had only one son. And the son worked really had and got a scholarship, he traveled; studied, became prosperous and acquired wealth. He has been away for 10years. So one day, he decides to come home to pay a 'surprise' visit to his parents. He informed nobody that he was coming home. So that day, he arrived the village at night, and went to their door. It was a bit dark; he knocked, Dady and Mummy opened the door. He has disguised his voice, his face and everything so that they won't recognise him (He wanted to surprise them). He said, *"You see, em em.... I am just coming to town, but its late now, is dark, just give me a place to sleep , by tomorrow morning I will go to where am going, I want to go......"* When they [the parents] looked at him and saw what he was carrying, it enters into their eyes and heart. They said *"OK!! You are leaving tomorrow morning....come in "*. With their candle light, they lead him in and he slept The couple planned, at night saying one to another *" Is this not the end of our poverty? Somebody has brought wealth here. Do we allow this boy [the stranger] to go away like that?....."* They took a decision to kill him, so Daddy held the knife while Mummy held the hands and they trust (kill) him through with the knife; he died. They quickly parked him and threw him into the forest at the back. In the morning, fellow villagers were coming to their house, each one saying *"Welcome, we greet you, congratulations!!! We saw your son yesterday , he has finally come back home, we came to welcome him."* ==> These conversation took pace: Daddy: *"Son? My son? You mean my son came back ?"* Villager1: *"Yes.., your son was here yesterday, we saw him going to your house "* Villager 2 : *"Of course , we saw him yesterday night"* They [Daddy and Mummy] now went back to the bush to look properly , then, they found out that they had killed their only son. *Lesson:* Whenever Sin is on The Driving Sit, Shame is Sitting at the Back. So your worst enemy is not really witches and wizards. Your worst enemy is your sinful heart . Do you like stories?? Let me know, I will surely Post more....
